So pretty! You guys did such a great job!! FYI...you can paint your old carpet! Seriously, I painted mine. Color Shots Outdoor. Just use a shade darker than your existing carpet color. I did three coats, it takes about 7-10 days to thoroughly dry, then just vacumn. No, it's not crunchy that's why you have to use the Color Shots fabric paint. 😀
Love you Rv. And I’m glad you got into Canada. You have made your RV warm and comfy. That old 90s light fixture. Paint it and add new globes. They have gorgeous globes with modern colors. And your bathroom vanity is a gorgeous color. We have a very old RV. Like 1970. We have got to restore it. It’s just so cool. We most likely want travel in it. We have too many pets. But it makes a cool place for guest or Air b n b. If you pass through Tennessee let me know. We have a place you can park. Nothing great. No hook ups. Just a place to rest and get water. It’s not a car, it’s a motor home. The bead board is really nice and if you want a little update on your shower. Tape off the glass and paint the gold metal black.

Thank you so much. We are in the middle of remodeling out travel trailer and I love the idea of the curtain on the hooks. So solves my problem for what to do with that door. We took out 2 heavy sliding doors and now I don't have to look for a curtain rod and make curtains. Great job. I did paint all the walls, but not the cabinets. Too much work right now, since we are redoing all the floors. Ripping out carpet and laying new click vinyl planks that look like reclaimed wood.
Paint the sink with 2 part apoxy paint - you would never know it isn't a white sink...or black...or whatever color you go with. You can also spraypaint the fixtures or old brass stuff. Love the redo though - the place looks amazing!!! Reach out when you want to sell it...
Hey Liz! Thanks for tips. We had so much stuff that we wanted to finish while on the road from a remodel standpoint. The reality is that we're constantly working just to keep this thing driving down the road! Just today the waterpump started dripping so its a new thing on this list to do!

We're the first ones to poke holes in the whole serious RV AMAZING lifestyle thing- its got some great moments but today we're in a gravel rv parking lot with wind blowing piles of dust against the windows while the sky is a smoke screen from a forest fire sixty miles away- long story short- its not always AMAZING!
I love the way you called the bedroom "the master suite"! Talk about positive thinking! Great job. You were so wise to NOT tackle the bathroom. We have renovated an old Winnebago, and the shower was a nightmare. The more we did, the worse it got, and my hubby is very handyman.
When you're living in a car you have to make everything sound fancier than it is. I'm sharing your shower story with Fin. The shower was definitely something that we had quite the debate on. I used to doing plumbing and I STILL didn't want to deal with it. Fresh coat of paint for an RV is just about enough!
Our secret is look at what other people are doing and copy it! We've even told Modern Mountain Life that we were HEAVILY influenced by their beautiful RV.
That oanling on the back wall we wanted to use....but then we read the sticker....its not used for small areas and gives off formaldehyde gasses. You can find the information on the sticker on the back of the panles.

Hey Maddy- We'll do a full video in the next month in depth to the point of boredom on our whole review of RVing but in the meantime....We got 7.5 mpg on average. Thats without towing anything and just having got a tune up as well! If we were full timing for more than a year and really wanted to invest we'd get a fifth wheel and a big old truck to haul it around with. Anyone can tell you (including us) that we moved around far and fast for only really being in the Class A for 9 months total. I mean, FLorida to all around the Western US and all the way up to AK was a TON of miles. Glad you're here now!

Every fifth wheeler we've been in has felt like a mansion compared to our motorhome. I'm sure you guys are gonna love it. We would have def going the fifth wheel route if we were doing this for more than a year. It's nice to not be kicked out of your home when you're having engine trouble for example.

Hey Mary! We totally agree. One of the biggest things we missed while traveling for that year abroad was a good ol american couch. Granted, this one is from ikea, but I can vouch for the fact it is a magnet for naps. I even slept on it last night just because it was so hot out we need some space from each other in this RV!
I heard on another video that if you use bleach on those sinks and put them in the sun it will be white again. You guys are hysterical I enjoyed your video very much. I'll be doing this very soon. Your dog does exactly the same thing both of mine do with those rattling bowls. It's a small drawback of the stainless steel bowl. So cute

Thanks Lavonda! It's a little bit harder to keep everything showroom clean while we're on the road, but we're really happy we painted everything bright white- makes a huge difference in how spacious it feels.

Great reno, but I LOVE your personalities most of all. Real people, that aren't trying to be like everybody else or "put on airs" are so rare these days.....and love the pooch, mine has her own carseat up front with us as well, lol.
I put the ikea gateleg table on casters for my condo. So I can move it around easier. I then made some "leg extenders" from some 2 by 4's I had laying around. You could get casters with brakes to make it easier to move around especially after you have stuff in the drawers :D
I have seen jobs of cute little places put together with popsicle sticks but suited to purpise, and I've seen predesigned overtweaked mega-tiny offerings by small family startups ... This is a legit as any other. You maximized your skills and put your stamp on it for what suited you ... Of course it is a great relief to know a few more feet of that old type of painful 70s-80s decor is gone, replaced with thrift and personal style. You guys are great spokesmodels for your own product. 😉 I also enjoy the stealth mode of it being way cooler on the inside than the outside would ever indicate. It's funny ...

Glad you're here Nomadd! The clothes thing has been a joke since our first trip. I keep throwing out more and more. Once you don't need to go into an office it's amazing how few clothing choices you need as long as you buy good quality gear.

It's somehow worked out really well! Glad we got grey- we just used the bed the other day and when it was pulled out, we noticed how much red Arizona dust had settled on the couch. Probably going to need to do a steam clean as soon as we get out of the desert.

That's how we ended up with a RV! We had started looking into redoing a Sprinter but after estimating all the costs ended up thinking that a RV would be cheaper and more comfortable!
Love what you guys did with your RV. Love the decors , they are chic & cozy especially the panel u used l. We just started living in an RV a few months ago and we r currently renovating our RV (will do it partially for now - we r still not sure if we will paint the cabinets.

We just got a 2003 Winnebago 30 b and are doing a remodel. Not all out like yours. Yours looks great.

Thanks Lavonda! It's a little bit harder to keep everything showroom clean while we're on the road, but we're really happy we painted everything bright white- makes a huge difference in how spacious it feels.
you can paint the sink as well, (someone may have already said so.... but I did not take time to read the comments). you did a great job it looks awesome

Great reno, but I LOVE your personalities most of all. Real people, that aren't trying to be like everybody else or "put on airs" are so rare these days.....and love the pooch, mine has her own carseat up front with us as well, lol.
I think a mural on the wall above the wood would look really nice. Maybe something orange or blue, like mountains with a sky or smth

I put the ikea gateleg table on casters for my condo. So I can move it around easier. I then made some "leg extenders" from some 2 by 4's I had laying around. You could get casters with brakes to make it easier to move around especially after you have stuff in the drawers :D

That's called "smacking the bowl". It means shes ready to eat...until we put food in and then she turns up her nose and walks away. We're still riding the high of being done with the renovation. Glad you're here Nomadd! The clothes thing has been a joke since our first trip. I keep throwing out more and more. Once you don't need to go into an office it's amazing how few clothing choices you need as long as you buy good quality gear.

It's somehow worked out really well! Glad we got grey- we just used the bed the other day and when it was pulled out, we noticed how much red Arizona dust had settled on the couch. Probably going to need to do a steam clean as soon as we get out of the desert.

That's how we ended up with a RV! We had started looking into redoing a Sprinter but after estimating all the costs ended up thinking that a RV would be cheaper and more comfortable!
