This is the best rv I've ever seen, brand new or not. I'm a single lady, I wish I could find someone to do this type of work for me, I would totally ditch my apt in a heartbeat. The big screen and fireplace are actually too much for me, you guys went all out on this. Incredible

Extremely emotional right now. A couple years ago I came across a picture of your kitchen on my pinterest, it linked me to your blog, which linked me to this video. I had never even heard of tiny loving, but I immediately fell in love and showed my boyfriend this video along with the rabbit hole of videos on youtube. A rabbit hole that to this day I'm still going down, which led me BACK to this video this evening. I can't believe it! I've been trying to find this video again for so long. I even years ago bought the avocado maker your mom sells off etsy and still use it to this day! My boyfriend and I are planning on buying our first RV this spring 😊 all because of you guys and this video!!

I love the fact that the cats potty in the bathroom behind a closed door.
Isn't that the truth +Rue Thais-Williams though I did run into someone the other day that has an outside vent set up near their cats litter box. Which got me thinking we may need to add something like that :)

I'm not sure how comfortable an RV would be on the mountain road, but don't miss Jerome, Arizona! Old mining town, updated - well, maybe not since the 60s! Love the remodeled version of the RV, too.

Not in the near future. We just moved from Bend, OR to Newport, OR after having called Bend 'home' for 16 years. We did a whole house remodel on the house in Newport (on the coast of Oregon) and it's really taken a lot of out of me. Time to nest & rest at home... for awhile anyway. This is the first time in 20 years we've not had a motorhome so it's definitely different staying in hotels & such when we travel. Never know!
That's awesome, you guys did a whole house remodel. Katie and I want to do that once we find out where it is we want to settle down. But after we finished the RV and hit the road we knew we were going to need quite a bit of time before we took on another remodel, I guess you can kind of say we are still in our own nest & rest stage haha :).
If y'all have never been to Dahlonega in the Georgia mountains, I highly recommend checking it out; it is so peaceful and gorgeous there. It's a super small town but there's a lot of historical interest because of the gold boom that happened there.

Beautiful job on the "home"...and it really is a "home" on wheels. I love the two doors in the bathroom...that really opens it up to feel much larger and less restrictive...I just purchased a 28 foot school bus and am at the very beginning stages of the reno and each video I watch I learn something...so, thank you to you both for the tour...I really am rethinking my bathroom now since seeing the lovely job and layout of yours...I am having to get very creative with sleeping space to allow a little bit of privacy for all three of my grand daughters who I am raising...I am so jealous of your lovely bedroom that I will NEVER get to enjoy as the three peanuts will definitely take up a good chunk of space...lol...Although I am having the roof raised professionally to allow for loft beds for the two older girls and a little under playroom for the youngest (4)...I will be lucky to get a fold out couch after all is said and done...lol...but gosh, what a lovely job...well done and pat yourselves on the back...again, my thanks and wishing you both safe travels and much happiness in your search for that perfect spot. I have subscribed to follow your journey...Keep an eye out for us on the road...you cant miss the bus...lol..."It's A Wander-FULL Life"...and it surely is indeed!

We spent a month in Woodland Park, Colorado near, Colorado Springs and it is very nice. We used to live in Pollock Pines ca. and love the mountains. So visiting a place that had great hiking, 4 wheeling , and lots of other things to do, as well as being in the mountains, Woodland Park is one of our favorites. We have been full timing for 4 years. Just now transitioning to part time, and spending our winter season in Spring Hill Florida. This last travel season we bought an acre of land with a well, septic and power already on it, and have put a manufactured home on it. We left California because of the taxes and the out of wacko government after 44 years. Tennessee, Georgia, and Arkansas are also other great places for country life, But Colorado so far is our favorite. We love all the mods you've done to your home on wheels. I sure wish I had started full time sooner then we had, like you folks. Happy Trails, Matt and Ida Thresher , Spring Hill, Fl

Glad to meet ya, all though on line. Were in the slow process of strong up a extra t.v. spot on the property as of now. It'll have water, sewer, and 50 amp power. So sometime in the future well be set up for our traveling friends to stop by. We not sure when, as we still budget money for traveling also, but it's getting there gradually. Lander, Wyoming is a beautiful mountain town. We moved here from Milwaukee,Wi 11 years ago and have never looked back. Free camping in city park for three nights and also Sleeping Bear RV park.

I don't know if you've been yet, Bend Oregon is absolutely beautiful. Beautiful high desert scenery in central Oregon with lots of scenic places to visit. The mountain town vibe is very homey and welcoming.

Your home on wheels looks amazing!!! We are moving from CA to VA this summer and just purchased our first RV this past weekend. My initial idea of renting an RV for the trip has morphed from throwing that money out the window into using that money as an investment for our family as well as a business opportunity in that we can potentially rent out the RV when we are not traveling. I have been looking for decorating ideas to make our new purchase cozy and unique and I just wanted to tell you how much I enjoyed your video and that you have given me some amazing Ideas, So,thank you so much!!! I know this was posted quite a while ago but we have a family home in Montana (Gallatin Gateway) between Bozeman and Big sky.... breathtakingly beautiful mountainous area...in case you still wanted suggestions.

Everything is stunning on the tour. The only suggestions would be to share where you picked certain things up like the spices, how you hold down plants etc. for all us newbies wanting to learn the tips. Also, did you make the T.V./Table cabinet? Do you have plans for sale etc.? Really a homey feel but stunning as well! Nice job.

Your table pulled out one length would make a great single desk place also for another use it’s beautiful
Thank you so much +Gerrie Holland :) We've tried to do it with one leaf but where our slide out hits the main floor it is a little unlevel so you can't really sit comfortably in a chair :(. Though we do a lot of times only use two of the leaves in order to conserve room in front of the sofa, and it works great that way for Katie and her computer. She likes to kick me back to the bedroom desk on occasion ;)

My daughter & I have been thinking about living in an RV full-time, but I wouldn't know where to begin remodeling. It's not my "gift." Your home is beautiful. BTW, we are in WI, too.
Wisconsin is a great place, I have so much family up there and grew up there! We absolutely love living in our RV so far and wouldn't change it for the world. Thanks for the kind words on our RV, I don't have the "gift" either, I have to give all the credit to Katie in making it look good. But I can say that for me as we were going through the process, it helped to start with smaller projects right off the bat and work my way up to the larger one. I've seen many tours and yours is by far my top favorite. Do you feel that you've added more weight with your entertainment center than what was their previously?
Thank you +Christi Brodeur! We did add some weight, taking into account what we removed and added I'd say somewhere right around 50lbs was added. With that said, I'm not too worried about it due to the fact it was a dinette booth that sat 4 people before, and with our cabinet there we'll never have the added weight of people. We did end up getting our RV weighed as well and it seemed to be good.

You did an excellent job! I always wonder why A class manufacturers don't get that everyone doesn't want that standard gaudy design. Rustic and farmhouse styles are much more livable.

Of course as our search continued we changed our list, like taking off the must have of a washer and dryer. It's just amazing!!! I love the warm & cozy feel your place has! It doesn't look like an RV at all! If you ever want to fund your travels, you both should do custom renovation jobs on other people's RV! You'd get many people lining up!

Do the items on countertops stay in place when traveling?
The items on the countertop actually fit perfectly right in the sink, so as we are packing up to leave we put the canisters, ninja, and other random lose items in the sink. It takes about 2 minutes to get the kitchen ready for travel.

I just discovered your video blog this morning. I really love how you all fixed up your RV. The living room area, with the fireplace and the slide up TV, and pull out table. Your L-Shape kitchen is really neat, with the silver magnet front on the fridge & freezer. The bathroom is awesome and roomy, with an entrance from the hall and your bedroom which seems roomy with closet and desk area, and your TV, and the map on the wall. Everything in your RV is so awesome and the lights, pictures.
I do have a place in the mountains that I really love, it is in Logan, Utah, where Utah State University is located, as I attended college there, back when it was more affordable. Logan has grown since I went to school there but I Google map it from time to time. There is a quaint vintage restaurant that actually has a soda fountain, and it is on Main Street, it is called the Blue Bird. Also, when you come up to 4th North from Main Street HWY 89/91, 89 is also part of 4th North when you turn East toward USU, and then becomes Logan Canyon, with such awesome views, and there is a lake up there called Tony Grove Lake, and then there is Beaver Mountain which is a family run ski resort, I skied there it is pretty nice. Also, at the end of the road, you come into Garden City, right off of Bear Lake, which has some RV parks. There are some RV Parks in the Logan area, and one on Hyrum lake. Cache Valley (where Logan is) is beautiful. The roads are in a grid system, and it is easy to find your way around. I hope you get out there to see it. Also, Salt Lake City, Farmington, where the Lagoon Amusement Park is, and there is the town where the two railroads meet, the site of the Golden Spike. Utah also has some wonderful towns, Park City would be a great place to visit, and in January, there is the Sundance Film Festival, (Robert Redford had originated that and named after his ski resort, Sundance). Southern Utah has some awesome National Parks, Canyonlands, Arches and quite a few others. I would recommend traveling through Utah. In Salt Lake there is a shopping center called "Trolley Square", which used to be a trolley warehouse. My favorite restaurant is located on the second floor and actually has a trolley in it, it's name is the Spaghetti Factory. They have Spumoni ice cream, which is really great.

We did spend a little bit of time in Utah but it was right after our RV got fixed and we were holding over till we were able to start at our camphosting gig in California. So because it was more of a holdover we didn't get out an explore the area that much. Though we definitely have plans to go back and spend more time there, when we do we'll have to make it a point to get up to the Logan area as you've made it sound beautiful and inviting. I am glad to hear that. You will enjoy out there when you get a chance to spend more time there. I always have loved Logan. It is a neat College town and Utah State was so enjoyable to visit. I have been back there since graduation a few times. Give it my regards.
