Im with you with the fully sealed idea. I want this mug but i need to be fully airtight with a seal on top.
Maybe someday we’ll see one come from them that is air tight! 🤞

The Stanley really is great. I have this with the pour over coffee accessory. Daily use for 6 months and it still looks and performs like brand new. Super happy with it

So true about this mug. Stanley just made a beautiful coffee mug. Can't beat my Ember mug, but if I am not gonna be sitting at my desk this is what I use every time, even with alcoholic drinks

Only one thought. You should have filled each mug to the top. That would have been more accurate for heat retention. Being different size mugs also makes a difference.. the fact that stanley,being larger than snowpeak,and still stayed hotter !!

Just found your channel and I love it. Love this video in particular! I used Stanley mugs for years (they are awesome), then I got turned on to Miir camp mugs and used those for the last few years (they are awesomer), but I got a double walled Snow Peak 450 mug for Christmas and that has been my camping and daily driver everyday. I suspect all three mugs work the same within a few degrees, but there is something special about snow peak mugs (I like the 2 piece handle that packs tight). All three are great, so i think it just comes down to personal attachment. My ranking would go Snow Peak > Miir > Stanley, but I would respect anyone else's ranking. (also, I drink a lot of coffee, so coffee is made and then poured into a Stanley thermos for hours of enjoyment. They have the thermos achievement locked up).
Heck yeah Robert! I haven’t tried the Miir but I will need to! I agree, it is subjective and if you’re not literally lining them up and asking which one is better you’d find any to be a great experience. Thanks for sharing your story ☺️

Great experiment :) tho would have liked to see a comparison of the mugs with thier lids on to see the difference it makes or not.
That would have been a good idea! Perhaps more science in the future will need to be performed!
I went for the yeti just because of the lid, it closes fully and is so easy to clean (the magnet lid just snap out).

Not sure Tim! I don’t drink coffee anymore so don’t have the opportunity to put coffee makers to test very often. Sorry I can’t be of more help there!

No lid for the ceramic mug so figured I’d keep it consistent!
