I have a feeling you'll really enjoy the Triumph Tiger Sport 660 that will launch here probably in the next few months. Basically the Trident 660 with fairing, longer suspension, a touring-focused riding position, panniers, and (arguably most importantly) more comfortable pillion seating..
Try versys 650 Suzuki v storm 650 and Honda 500x(2022 model) ,if you are planning to do long distance touring with a pillion, or you can even wait for tiger 660. Tiger850 is also a good option if you have big pockets. Lol😅😉
If you like the trident, then you should wait for the Tiger 660 ADV. This new bike is basically the ADV variant of the Trident. That should have a better ride quality and also should do a better job for the wind blast
I tried the Tiger 850 and drove it a bit, I simply don't enjoy adventure bikes those are just SUV in the bike world and even in Cars I don't enjoy driving a SUV.

CBR 650 is overpriced considering you can get a Z900 for the same price. Zx-6R over the 650 any day.same for the triumph Street triple , overpriced garbage
I would not say heating but felt a bit of warm air around left side of my leg after a bit of aggressive driving and when I was in traffic. It's not bad that was annoying but I did notice some heat but it was only around my left leg not on the right.
from my experience heating issues are felt when there's load of dirt/slush on the radiator fins, air inflow limited and fan has to continuously blow to hot air boiling your legs!
I say 30 years to 40 years of age is the best time to buy a big bike....this is the range where most of them have money and maturity to ride the same. Time might be a bit of an issue but not a deal breaker for many...
Ranjit trident is an good one. But if you thinking about long rides and long span ownership, you could think about Street twin or if you want to add some more power Speed twin is there. But the comfort and riding experience with street twin man, muuah😘. But the only thing is price value for street twin its on the heavier side.

One of my friends is saying to start with a lower disp. engine like 250 at max and get into a riding habit and then upgrade to the likes of these. Is he right? If yes, which bike can I go for as my first?
Getting a used ktm is probably a good idea for a first bike. But you’ll grow out of that rather quick. If you’re confident, just buy the 660 itself and save yourself cash
LOL not comparable it's a different class the CB350 produces 21 PS of power this produces 81 ps of power, so that power response is not comparable :) From the Honda the CB650R is comparable to this one.

Agreed with your friend. Rather than buying, just use a low displacement bike every weekend. 2 months and you should be good to go

It was a bit windy that day so there was wind blast past 105 vibrations I didn't feel on the handle or foot pegs.
