Hard not to be brought to tears when hearing some of Sakamoto's songs. They're perfectly angst-ridden and heart-wrenching, and sometimes it's good to feel humbled and reflective about things, and life in general.

I listend this 6 years ago... and truly amazed by this music... it still makes me keep calm. So many things have changed and bored but this music still beatiful and same as first I listend.

Most japanese composers draw directly from sakamoto (and Yellow Magic Orchestra) concept of taking traditional japanese music influences and translate them into modern music (electronic early in his career and classical later on when he started composing for movies) that's why you get this immagery both from games music and anime music, you can clearly ear that sakamoto was both the senpai of Koji Kondo and Joe Hisaishi.

Frustrating that I can't remember the title which greatly resembles 1:23-1:40. Not dry tears. It was much more depressing. This is one of my all time faves though.

Its a windy rainy night just pass 11 P.M. and I just muted the TV while watching the Giants vs Royals (game 2)...this performance is incredible
