To anyone criticizing the violin solo, that is not a solo, but actually part of the original song, composed by Sakamoto himself. It's a specific and complex technique and here is a good example of it. How the dissonant notes show up and, when they end, they meet again with the tone and give you relief after so much tension. It's a perfect piece.
Bibo no aozora is endless fight in English. So we can see this fighting between piano and violin and vice versa here. There is no any dissonance, this is how it should be.
Heard this at the end of Babel Had to find it. Beautiful composition but it does spiral into a kinda dark confusion. I will keep listening to find what sukumoto was aiming for
+ojay thompson Somewhere I've seen Just Blaze as a producer. I wouldn't call it a sample since the instrumental track is almost 100% original, if not sped up just a hair. Check the Babel soundtrack (end credits I think).
@@SnowDropSteph Correct. In the original version, the solo Judy Kang (the violinist) plays here was played by an electric guitar, which was a lot harsher.
I also agree with you , I can tell when she looks to see ifhe noticed,. My point I would like to make is this, for those who are in tune with their ZHz frequency levels , there's a reason why you are drawn to the sound of the way this. is being played you will be enlightened once you are made aware of why music .really does "soothe" the soul.
cannot stand the way the piano is played in this version... JUST PLAY IT PROPERLY! STOP F*ING AROUND lol... frustrating as hell to listen to and yeh, goes without saying that the violin is utterly horrific

I'd question anyone criticising any part of this. It's perfect.
Thanks to explain. I agree, you tube have many music genius
That is a good explanation for music dumb👍
Because of your comment (wich I agree with) I surfed on your channel and discovered Egberto Gismonti - Água e Vinho
, amazing!!!
It's a masterpiece!
One of the nicest pieces I've ever heard.
Slower tempo but.............achingly beautiful. Thank you Sakamoto and friends.
This is so pure. I can't describe it in words.
this really is pure magic
+Tony Danza Magic is the word Tony, magic.
Ryuichi Sakamoto - piano & composition, Judy Kang - violin, Jaques Morelenbaum - cello
It is slow but it has dramatic feeling..and sadness..and.. beautiful...
Una composizione sublime .....
Sicuramente tra le mie preferite in assoluto...
Un Trio di Altissimo livello.
Grazie Sakamoto
Astounding feel for details, creeping cripsy string setting, brings out everything for an amazing voyage into sadness or hope, everything...
One of the greatest composers of the 20th-21st century.
most definitely!
A genius at work and also at play. Making us soar. The most perfect blend of Classical and jazz. Wow.
This is musical story telling. Love it.
Bibo no aozora is endless fight in English. So we can see this fighting between piano and violin and vice versa here. There is no any dissonance, this is how it should be.
It squeezes my heart.
One of favorite musician/ composers in the 21st century...
melodia suve con un toque de melancolia
So impressive sounds I really love his music
what an excellent recording!!! thank you so much
Tema sublime. I love Sakamoto.
Heard this at the end of Babel
Had to find it.
Beautiful composition but it does spiral into a kinda dark confusion.
I will keep listening to find what sukumoto was aiming for
phenomenal piece of art! heals my soul

Wunderschön, mükemmel, wonderful
sublime
ke meraviglie !!!!grazie !!!
right in the feels :"(
different phrasing, confident, relaxed, and thoughtful. I Digg it
+Mac Ross he also plays around with the harmony too, added some extra dissonant notes for colors
This is beautiful
who was the producer on the Jay Electronica track "Better in Tune" that found this sample??
+ojay thompson Somewhere I've seen Just Blaze as a producer. I wouldn't call it a sample since the instrumental track is almost 100% original, if not sped up just a hair. Check the Babel soundtrack (end credits I think).
Great sir skmt thank You
i love it but the man is really into it you can see by the way he moves and sway while playing the piano
obra prima
mackrogerio2011 Um brasileiro !
Just love it
I have no idea, what this is and why I got it recommended, but I like it.
Just found Trey Songz inspiration for Cant Be Friends
My favorite rendition
Babel
Thank you Mr. Sakamoto
so this is the real and original " can't be friends" from trey songz
brilliant theme...
Espetacular.
Omg what an amazing song
He is,,, He is,,,
That was good and sweet
genial, gracias!
Tray songz sampled it in we can't be friends
yeah did he credited sakamoto for it? coz he keeps on saying its one of the best songs he made.
unsaid
aching
wondrous
Es ist so schön..und traurig zugleich
I'm generally very unemotional but this piece makes me lose it...
It's Magic.
maravillosa melodia
Maravilla
Please tell me there is an arrangement of this somewhere
最高
Thank you Sakamoto
we cant be friends..
Jay electronica
grazie
What does Sakamoto playing the Trey Songz' song?
Where can I get the score?
steve jobs plays the cello??
Nothing like this exists
bruhhh that shit cray!!
🥰🖤🖤🖤
Dat girl at 3:50 ruining it, geeez
Nope that's the song. Shes playing it right. It's meant to hurt our ears
@@SnowDropSteph Correct. In the original version, the solo Judy Kang (the violinist) plays here was played by an electric guitar, which was a lot harsher.
I am so deep there is no place for false play .. and if you trie to distract me .. I will show you I understand your game ..
Just did 200 knuckle push ups on concrete while listening to this. Video on my channel. Cheers.

violinist is just playing notes, her solos have no depth or dynamics. such a shame for how beautifully Sakamoto is playing.
I also agree with you , I can tell when she looks to see ifhe noticed,.

The gorgeous movie "Babel" is the epitome of incommunicability ... just like these gorgeous sounds
I can't really understand your comment.
I don't get it either. Perhaps the person below doesn't know the tune (?).
You dumbass... She played perfect, it's just the way it was composed
cannot stand the way the piano is played in this version... JUST PLAY IT PROPERLY! STOP F*ING AROUND lol... frustrating as hell to listen to
