@@swmann2 The further from the engine, the cooler the exhaust. It may not be much, but the rear will constantly be a cooler temp than the middle of the exhaust so the packing won't get as hot and burn out as quickly. Carven used a newer, tightly packed design but it still looks like a type of fiberglass which will eventually burn out when used in a hot running modern engine. If they would use a metal fiber, a steel wool like Porter does with their Steel-Pac mufflers, they would withstand the heat and never burn out. Magnaflow, Dynomax and Borla all use a layer of steel wool but still use a fiberglass outer layer that burns and makes it louder over time. The stock mid muffler might use packing as well, not sure but it looks a lot like a Borla muffler which changes the least in sound over time.
I've read the rear resonator delete creates more drone than the mid muffler delete, but the mid delete sounds a lot better. I'd like to see someone delete the rears and move the mids to the back for the best sound and least drone.
Mid muffler delete all day. It has a much more raw and aggressive sound. The resonator delete just sounds a little bit louder than stock. Not bad, but the point in taking your car to the shop is to hear a difference right?
Rear delete is definitely the way to go. Doesn't sound as "aggressive" but depends on your tastes. But I've heard the mid deletes in person and the fully deleted ones, and its past the point of sounds good, just a loud noise.
Hey Yo.... What it dew... I think I i would go with the grey car on the drive off and white car on idle .. Ford Mustang running it for 2024-🆙on no more Mopar car or Chevy thangs .. I aint really a Ford guy but love what they doing.. continuing the v8 ya feel me Chico.... I wanna hear how some cherry bomb glass packs wud sound on the Hemi with rear muffler delete ....But anyways on throttle on 2 the next 1..
Never get rid of your mufflers , always go mid pipes . The drone with no mufflers will have you regretting everything . Even for you good ole fashion straight pipe , keep your mufflers on .
Mid delete is definitely louder, just depends what you’re after. I’d probably do the mid delete since its valved. Rear delete sounds cleaner though.
It’s like a tame mid delete lol
Just delete it all
I AGREE! I'm going Quad Tip on my Durango RT Tow N Go and a new kick-ass valance. Mid muffler delete sounds great! 🏁🏁🏁🏁🏁🏁
Rear muffler delete sounds better than mid in my opinion
its what i got on my scat and i agree
Mid muffler delete sounds better than rear in my opinion.
@@rustyheim6733how’s the drone?
Same
This made my mind up to do a rat delete on mine I love the deep tone!
Resonator delete, replace mids with Carven TR. That's the cleanest sound.... Carven R is the next step up if you just don't care about your neighbors.
If you do that, put the TRs in the rear where the resonators were. The packing inside will last longer and it'll drone less.
@@AdmiralRustyShackleford interesting

Rear muffler delete sounds cleaner! Always recommend that way instead if a mid delete!
Nice work! 😎🔨👊🏻 Rear resonator delete sounds better.
mid muffler delete was fosho better imo!
Definitely like the black charger. Sounds sweet

Yes the quad tips are beautiful
Rear muffler sounds more refined while mid muffler is louder
Definitely feel like the chargers should’ve come with quad tips from the factory
Straight pipe is better than mid muffler delete ❤❤
Great video for comparison good job guys!
That white daytona charger was definitely a 5.7L Hemi.
That black car sounds like a whoopy cushion or a queef when you let off the gas
MID MUFFLER ALL DAY BABY! THE REAR DELETE STILL SOUNDS LIKE STOCK TO ME!
Mid muffler sounds like a wet fart but louder rear muffler sounds the best like a louder version of stock
Rear delete sounded better...but mid was not bad, only raspier 🧐😈😁😛
I have a 5.7 with a rear muffler delete and when go fast it smells like gas a lil bit is that bc of the rear muffler delete
The white Daytona is a 5.7, if it was a 6.4 it would have 392 on the sides, and 6 pistons in the front and not those wheels.
Exactly! The Daytona 5.7L has the word Hemi on the hood
@@lilcuz3638 so does mine I have 392 Daytona btw
Is there any comparison or before or after of a challenger RT that’s had a mid muffler delete and then gotten the back mufflers/resonator removed?

Rear delete makes it sound like a Mercedes 6.2
Mid Muffler delete sounds better.
2 different engines cars so this isn’t a good comparison
Sounds much better with bullets swapped, compared to a delete
Quad Tips W/ Mid muffler delete
That daytona is a 5.7, not a 6.4
Does it drone ?
Definitely rear delete for me. I'm over 40 lmao
Rear sounds cleaner
Its plenty of chargers with quad tips
White is a 5.7
🔥🔥🔥
Both Sound good, but for this Sound you go to Jail in our Country 😈😆😂
I pretty sure the white one is a 5.7.
Has to be
Its a 6.4
Daytona is a 5.7... even if it's a 6.4 Daytona it ain't a scat pack.. same engine different package..
Mufflers up front, resonators in the rear. It’s not that difficult.
For most cars it’s resonators in the middle and mufflers in the rear though. For some reason Dodge switched it up on this era of cars
White car is a 5.7
That Daytona sounds better

These are just getting to be the same Ole same ole
