I bought this same splitter a couple of years ago and its it's a beast!
When I ordered mine I added the fluids/ grease option so I didn't have to source them.
I didn't order the lighting kit either and funny thing. . . . When everyone asks to borrow it I say no sorry there's no lights on it! Haha. My brother in law said he'd buy the light kit so he can borrow it. Crap!

For hydraulic oil, I would suggest going to tractor supply or some other farm store and buying their cheapest hydraulic oil in five gallon buckets. Our local little Tractor Supply usually has a couple or three dozen buckets on hand. I like that engine guard that Iron and Oak has, I hope to talk somebody into putting one of those on my Boss splitter. Thank you man!

Dude.. grow a set, then buy a bigger funnel and pour it in with the beam up. And with your obsession with drips and spills, rename this video: "Anally retentive log splitter assembly". You are a funny dude. "I shouldn't use my fingers"... Love the Carnac thing with the cardboard. Those hydraulic leaks could send you to the great beyond.. WTF?? True Gen X'er.. The video was helpful truthfully, and you are a riot. Only thing missing was a safety helmet and an onsite ambulance.
