I honestly would watch a video of u playing through every algorithm. I have no problems watching That Pedal Show, so an hour to hour and a half long video doesnt bore me or loose my interest. 😁
Finally an effect that in incorporates kill dry into the mix knob. I never understood why builders dont do that. U would think logically that the mix all the way up would be 100% wet, not have to find it in a menu. Lol. I really like how Alexander did that. Extremely small detail, but i love it.
Why is it that you have 15k subscribers when you have great stuff every time. Super insightful, good pedal choice, great playing and intro music. I don’t understand why he isn’t competing with guys like Rhett Schull(spelling? apologies) or even the store channels like Andertons. Why does Music is Win have a million? Or that Dutch guy…I feel like there is something going on. Keep doing you Mark Johnston I appreciate you. 🤘🏼
Haha hey 15k isn’t just a number. That’s 15,000 people which is an overwhelming number of people if you disconnect it from the social media game. I’m intensively grateful for my the people who are here and who show up for the stuff I’m making here. Rhett is one of my favorite creators on this platform and I think his success is well earned by being both a super talented musician as well as by being really good at the content game; he’s super talented and he’s also really consistent with his uploads and hitting topics people are going to respond to. I’m very bad at self promo; you’ll notice I’m never reminding people to like and sub and all that and I just kind of let people find me here. Having said all that, go tell people to follow me, haha. Would love to keep growing the channel and being able to put more of my time and energy into it. And of course, thanks for watching.
@@markjohnstonofficial You're right about 15k. Didn't mean to diminish the accomplishment of that alone. Also one reason I enjoy your videos is the lack of "tap this" "sub to that", but yeah you make sense and are very humble. For me it makes you more real. I will try getting the word out there. Someone like yourself deserves recognition, it feels unjust if not. As always thanks for all the time you put into your channel and for your viewers/followers. Have a great holiday!
This seems like a perfect delay for me. Really just want the basic tape, analog, and digital delay. Don't want option paralysis and need midi control (stereo is a bonus as well). I will definitely keep digging and might give this a try.
I ordered their black out version for Black Friday. I can't wait to get my hands on this thing. Ive been wanting something from Alexander for yeeeeeears.
Hey Mark. One thing I never hear reviewers talk about is how easy or difficult a particular pedals presets are to use in a live setting. I've bought very expensive pedals that were very well reviewed only to find that the pedal is next to impossible to use, if switching between sounds in the middle of a song, is a needed with no midi controller or switcher. I'd love it if you were to talk about that on future videos. Thanks for the great vids!
I love your demos. Is it me or is the Alexander Rewind darker sounding compared to the GFI Orca? Orca seems to be more pristine and clearer. I just ordered an Alexander Rewind Delay yesterday because of the functionality and ability to go midi and presets with it over the Orca.
Hi just wondering if the repeats will go past infinite into self oscillation? Because Ive yet to see a demo push them that far. Thanks for the crazy in depth video!

Same! I would love hour long Mark Johnston vids so much. These videos are so inspiring!
That intro jam gave me chills. Great tones. ❤ you Mark.

Might have been my favorite intro jam to date. Your reviews/demos are always top notch. Thanks!
Outstanding demonstration!

Do you like it?

Ditto
IYO is this one of the most versatile delay pedals you’ve used? I think what draws me is the versatility.
That half-time at 1:16! 🔥

Alexander is underrated. I had a Sky5000 that I sold for some stupid reason. It was really good.
Sounds great Mark!

Great intro tune!
Do you plan on doing a deep dive on the syntax error 2? It really is something special and would also be helpful too lol.
I’ve never played one so, currently, there’s no plans for one. Open to it though
So the Meris LVX just got some competition.
Which digital delay do you find to be more pristine with great modulation options? Particularly maybe a great fit for acoustic? Thanks
What do you do for drums for your tracks? Live set, electronic set, or all in your DAW?
I program it all with GetGoodDrums modern and massive
@@markjohnstonofficial you make great music bro.
In dual delay… can you choose which delay … like analag on right and tape in left?
No it’s just standard digital delay lines for dual.
It would be awesome if it shows the exact bpm of the delay
This is possible with the new (free) version of the pedal software.
My review of Rewind - feels cheap, sounds weak in mono and unintuitive knobs. It looks great, but nothing more for me.
