    I'd have killed for an inspire 2 or even a Phantom 4 Pro back in the days I made TV programmes (20 years ago now). Back then we didn't have the budget for a helicopter so aerial shots of the cars wasn't possible.
    Am seriously saving for a Phantom 4 Pro, second hand to start with to lift my RUclips motoring channel to another level.
    You've now given me a glimpse into the commercial drones beyond this. Inspiring

    A serial 1st adopter of tech I’m an early Inspire 1 owner and agree...batteries are becoming harder to come by for the Inspire 1....still, I’ll hang on to the old girl until just before I need to start taping Duracell batteries together to make my own power source...

    Nice review Dylan, have been really interested in the M210 since it came out thanks for all the info. Most of my work is photogrammetry and I was first using the inspire 1 with X3 and Z3. I have since moved onto the Phantom 4 Advanced and getting better results due to the better 1" sensor, the only downside is needing to be so close to the subject due to the wide angle lens. If the Phantom 5 comes out with interchangeable lenses this will probably suit my work better as I am assuming it will still have a mechanical shutter also. The M210 does look like a beast though ;) Keep up the good work on the channel.

    M210 version on crutchfield is $7,999 then add cameras. Bugs for some still remain. RTK version is only RTK between AC and Base Station RTK unit; which confuses some. With clear sky, should take away EMI effects on AC. Useful for close powerline and cell tower inspections @ $12,999 plus cameras. Inspire 1 Pro's still holding their versatility appeal here w/ lens options while I decide which model or MFG will break out this year. Tough decisions!
    UPDATE: Got the M210RTK w/X5S and Z30 cameras w/ a suitcase of TB55’s. All issues have been worked out and DJI is now making a Version 2.

    Great video Dylan! We don't see enough of the commercial models so it is a different perspective which I like.I don't need one and can't afford one but I still would like to play with one and see more about them. Cheers!

    I think once this bird starts getting better battery life more folks will consider it an option. Right now, especially for the money I just can't see the M210 providing more bang for the buck over say an Inspire 2 at the same price.
    Thanks for sharing! Happy I found your channel. I look forward to following you moving forward. 👍

    We have an M210 RTK Z30 XT and x5s dual cendence and crystal sky’s
    It’s very buggy, the connections always dropping out it’s a pain to set up and if you want to fly dual cameras you have to use the pilot app but all the set up has to be done in go4. Most of the cendence features don’t work yet Either. It flys great though when it works ! the Z30 is a great camera even if it is only 2mp.
    The crystal sky’s get super hot and eat the battery’s but are great in the sunlight.
    No 3rd party apps are supported on the crystal sky apart from litchi and that’s only if you stay connected to the Amazon App Store via WiFi and none support dual cameras yet.
    Have you looked at the Falcon 8 ?

    So where does your preference lay ? i2 or m210 ? Last time I looked re mapping, drone deploy doesn’t support the m210rtk. As it also didn’t support the P4Pro v2

    Wow Dylan, so this is bird is for totally commercial use. Do you know how is it for mapping compared to the Inspire 2 for mapping and model building purposes? Since the Inspire 2 can be used for both mapping and filling what, in your opinion, would make the M210 a better bird than the Inspire 2 for your business purposes and may I ask what are they? As always, thank you for your insight, review and comments on the enterprise side and of the DJI M210!

    • @TimS57064
      @TimS57064 5 лет назад

      @@IkoptaUk Yeah, the price of the battery is quite high too. I get a little better than 20 minutes flight time with my P4Pro and with the high cost of the Inspire batts, really surprising how bad the flight time is, on the Inspire 1 anyway. I have the v1 of the Inspire, just got it.

    I am with Sean, I am not artistic, don't even try to do creative work. Commercial / Industrial is more of what I am familiar with.
    I haven't seen a top speed listed for that puppy. Is it as fast as the inspire one. Not that I need to go that fast, but with limited time it is concerning.With on of my customers I often have to fly as far as 1.5 miles across water to get to the inspection target.

    • @AboveandBeyondGlobalDrones
      @AboveandBeyondGlobalDrones 6 лет назад +1

      With 2 camera setup you use the TB55 for balancing the AC ( changes Center of Gravity ) so one set of blades isn't constantly trying to hold the AC horizontally in air. About 40 mph is what I've seen but with a dual camera or single on top, who wants to go that fast and risk their cameras ~ my thoughts only.

    Dylan, a word of advice, though this kind of drones is far from my league of personal (Spark pilot) use: I think the M210 is missing one tiny little detail which might be of grave importance for a professional like you, especially when you are about to invest such a heap of money: you would not be allowed to fly in Vienna, even with all the redundancy the M210 offers for it is just a quad copter. As such you won't get permission to fly in any residential area here in Austria, for a loss of one propulsion (motor and prop) will result in an uncontrollable crash. That's just physics of any quad copter, and of course I'm talking of Austrian law, which does not apply on UK. But as there is a constant exchange of airworthiness authorities and a general trend in increasing safety it could well be (or even likely be) that regulations become tighter. The idea behind this (regulation wise) is that you have to be able to perform a safe and controlled landing after loss of one motor/rotor (motor failure, prop failure, prop loss, etc.) - which is simply impossible with a quad. So my humble advice would be to aim for an - at least - hexacopter for an investment this size.

    • @IkoptaUk
      @IkoptaUk  6 лет назад +1

      Good to know. The achilles heal of ALL prop machines. Was on a set when an octi went down (I wasnt flying 😳) the flash force from a pyro took it out at 30m height. I think the danger is, if they take a hit, no guarantee just one prop is damaged, with them in close proximity, good chance the debris will take out other props. answer may me to ensure ALL units have a parachute system, similar to the one a plane used they other day.

    • @crackyrich
      @crackyrich 6 лет назад

      Yep, I think the parachutes are the way forward for these bad boys. If I were flying anything costing 5 figures, I’d be looking to ensure I got it back in as workable condition as possible in the event of something like that. Good video, I’m a new subscriber, thank you.

    Only four props, goodbye camera if one fails, it's a stupid move from DJI, also what's the life span for this drone 2 years and no support, the way other companies are moving are DJI going as popular in 2 years, as for the GO 4 app it's so out of date.
