A clearly explained procedure which has got me itching to make my maiden flight on my own Inspire 1 just received. Also brilliant videography and editing. Well done.
Awesome job on demonstrating waypoints and poi. got me sold on this. the tech when I started multirotor Aerial imaging has come so far in 8 years. thanks
This was a really helpful video. I have been out with my Inspire 1 today trying out POI for the first time. Your Ken Burns suggestion was also really helpful. Thank you!
Dude you rock, great tutorial and Video editing to. You know imitation is the greatest form of flattery and I am going to straight up copy some of your technics. Nice Work.
You can set waypoints in simulator mode before you fly, then save the course. Then when you go out you can fly it with a full battery by selecting the course you saved previously.
Awesome bit of kit. I'd love one, but it's not something I could ever afford. Brave of you to fly it over salt water, not sure I'd have the balls for that knowing how much they cost!
has anything changed in the programming? I ask this because I cannot find the intelligent flight modes... when I switch the button no menu comes up... any ideas?
Man! I'm experiencing the same whenever I'm flying with my insipire1 pro! Families and children are surrounding me and keep asking questions :) I thought it's just happening in my country :) But I find the solution in a way that I'm telling them the price directly before telling the speed and the altitute it can go and they run away :D
While the flight is being operated automatically in accordance with your preset waypoints, is it possible to control the camera in any direction you want using the "free mode" or with the touch feature? Thanks!
So I have to shoot every hole of an 18 hole golf course Sat/Sun. Test flew today and I have to say it's trickier than I thought. Here is my question. Can you implement the way points AND point of interest at the same time? Meaning can I place my way points from tee box to green then place my point of interest marks then fly the route? The craft world then fly from: WP1 - Tee box WP2 - Fairway WP3 - Green POI - around the green Will these two work with each other? Any tips would be helpful if anyone has flown this. Thanks.
Can u tell me why i don't have any other options when my switch is in F possition. Only courselock. Dont have any other mode like you have. I turned the multiple flight modes on, upgraded to last firmware and nothing :( Thx 4any help
This is cheating :p But a very nicely job with the video, really love it! Good explanation :) Did you noticed actually the time you lost in order to set everything everytimes, you could actually did this quickly with your sticks :p Anyway thanks for sharing and have a great new week
Why Dji did not implement groundstation waypoints is crap .So you fly to points A,B,C,D ect then have to fly it over again pointless waste of battery power .Anyhow thanks for posting .

Thanks for the excellent video. Just what I was looking for having never engaged this feature.
Great shots!
That was indeed an excellent video tutorial, Thanks for that!
Amazing! When not flying POI or Missions do you typically fly in GPS or ATTI?
Top man, as cool as ever!
Very easy to follow, great job mate
Best demo I have seen, new sub! Thx
Thanks Quinn
awesome thanks for the demo!
Nice work - well done!
Nice! A whole lot different to flying a mini-quad. I'd like to see a "POI" shot of one, or both, of the Liver birds lit up at night! How's your leg?
Awesome bit of kit. I'd love one, but it's not something I could ever afford. Brave of you to fly it over salt water, not sure I'd have the balls for that knowing how much they cost!
Very good demo, thanks!
Great video!
Easy to follow demo. Thanks, I'll try it tomorrow.
