Roll stabilization (the third plane) wouldnt make much of a difference in gameplay, but would be fun to watch. Speaking of fun to watch, was a little surprised this autoloader does not eject spent casings like the russian/chinese autoloaders, considering how tightly packed the feed rack is
Honestly on the survivability aspect; it's armor is so thin for it's BR that anything firing APDS or similar kinetic damage rounds can potentially go right through you without doing to much. Especially when looking head on and taking a lighter load of ammo
Correct, but is not modeled in game. As roll would have little effect on gameplay (mostly that the crew and ammo rack would swing sideways) i can forgive it for now. But i would hope they add the mechanic eventually. Speaking of surprisingly absent mechanics, no shell ejection? With a turret that cramped?

@@ronaldthompson4989 it depends on a reason, it could be a limit its just not powerful enough (likely a bullshit reason) or the game isnt able to actually deal with it. or the far more likely reason, the devs just dont want to add it so they lied about the reason. also people been saying that for a lot of things. and yet theres things still a decade "still being added"
I think they will not change the br. Nobody cares right now because the Puma and Begleit are so much more dominant, everyone is mad about these two. Also it's Prem, I'm sure Gaijin has no intention for themself to balance it without pressure from outside.
9:52 i know you where comparing tanks, but imo for 50 euro the ka-50 is by far the best bang for buck. Not only because it's super capable but also because it enables you to play helicopter EC and PVE, it basicly unlocks new game modes when you buy it. The heli pve mode is a bit boring but its a nice change from campers and spawnrapers, i use all my larger boosters in pve and farm tons and tons of sl.
Helicopters aren’t nearly the same as Tanks though. Sure it’s powerful, but you need to get a kill or two to use it, then it’s hit or miss. Tanks overall have inherently more value than helicopters.

Nothing prints SL like the ka-50 in helicopter EC mode and with the guided missiles you literally one shot any airborne opponent and atleast 90% of the ground targets. Same goes for helicopter pve mode. At the same time both those gamemodes absolutely suck unless you have ka-50 or a ka52/mi28nm which you both realistically can only unlock by buying the ka-50 in the first place. You also thought the t55am1 has thermals, do you even have the t55am1 and ka-50 or are you just repeating things you've heard other people say? I own both, i'm litterally speaking from experience. For 50 euro the ka-50 is first of the best SL grinder in game and second the most versatility unit, since unlike a tank you can not just use it in ground rb/ab but also in helicopter ec and pve.
You mentioned gunner and commander camera view sighting. I’m not sure what my Xbox is set to but I think I have just the commander set. How do i check and compare the two? Any disadvantages and advantages over each?
Nonsense, the hull is sloped all the way to the turret ring XD but yeah dont expect a testbed to be shellproof, especially one that uses a Leopard 1 as a starting point

Question, why do you not disable grass in scope? There is an option to disable grass when scoped in or using binocs or commander sights to make Hull down a lot easier.
Thinner armor, same ammo, same gun, same mobility, as the 7.3 Leopard, now at 8.0. Some might say that is a steep price to pay for a stabilizer and 1.5 second increase in reload speed. And it is, but soooo worth it. P.S. the Strv103-0 has the same APDS, a 4 second reload, armor that (if you point it in the right direction) can bounce any APFSDS in the game, and is at 7.3. Fine print on that one is the steering/aiming system doesnt always behave
quick question is it me or is my airfield AAA always dead non functioning or is the enemy AAA just bs cuz they react in seconds but i can circle my AAA for minutes before the first shot. and on that why the fuck is suicide bombers a thing i can only describe that as cancer incarnate but thats besides the weirdness that is the AAA and balance in general

AM-1 will be a better, more modernized tank that performs better in an up tier. It’s very strong at 8.3. But, it’s very boring. Turm III is very unique and fun, and it’s extremely versatile. Tho if h, it has no laser rangefinder or thermals compared to the T-55 AM-1, so it suffers in uptiers.
Not saying that this tank is bad because its clearly one of the best tanks you can get for 8.0 br but its not fun when all the enemy team is are turm 3, its ridiculous i go to battle in my 8.0 line up for America and I die and die and die because all I fight are these things like packs of wolfs my heavy tanks dead, light tanks dead, i try Heli's... dead, all gameplay is now are turm 3 the rocket cars or 30mm aa all of which blind their targets with rapid rockets or machinegun fire and its not like I couldn't just buy the tank and jump on the bandwagon but jeez i dont wanna play Germany...? guys guess what turm 3 and rocket cars. idk maybe this isn't as big of a problem but its been a year and they haven't done anything to change this. I don't even play frequently anymore because all that happens is death by turm 3 and its annoying. still love your videos
It looks nice but I honestly gave up on the German line for now. No matter how well I do my win rate for them is below 40%. Meanwhile with French or Japanese lines I've been doing really well. Unless Germans are on my team. If this wasn't a German vehicle I'd consider it
I'm trying to finish my German line. I only have 4 tanks left. I am using the turms in an 8.7 line up as a lead off or secondary tank . and i agree with you Germany has great equipment but the German mains are terrible players. My theory is they have had it to easy in 6.0 to 7.7 with the dominant tanks. K:D is trashed but i am only an average player so i don't worry about it to much. I maxed out America , Russia and even Britain . and it wasn't half as bad as Germany. Most matches Germans are gone in 10 to 15 min.
@@Tankenstein because the turret is only stabilized in elevation and traverse, while being advertised as stabilized in elevation, traverse, and roll (as it is irl). Nevermind the only difference in gameplay would be the crew and ammo rack swinging 12 degrees to either side; why people nitpick so much? XD

Its a shame they have not modeled the 3 plain stabilizer correctly. A neat tank otherwise.

@@ronaldthompson4989 Yep it would just be a visual thing, just to be on an angle and seeing the sight being level would be cool.
@@bubba9r it makes long range shots from an angled surface a bit easier and more accurate as well, so not only cool, but a tiny bit useful.

The thing doesn’t really have sloped armor so its going to be an easy target for everything at its tier
While this is true, its cannon is extremely powerful. This vehicle is a true glass cannon.

Good question. I'd probably pick the AM-1, simply because it is more versatile and sits at rank VI.
