Using rat and gremlin tanks to sneak around the battlefield in War Thunder matches has always been a favorite pastime of mine. But what if you used the German Wiesel 1A4 light tank, one of the smallest vehicles in the game, to essentially play WT like a stealth game?

Attempt number 29 at getting Spookston to play any tank with a dozer blade, the catch is, he has to dig in before engaging targets. Movement around the map is allowed, but he has to dig in again before reengaging.

@@felion_ back in the old days, when bushes were first introduced, you bought them as packs of 6. This was changed to only single bushes per bush type,
For future reference, CAS is ALWAYS on the menu. Regardless of what the challenge is, CAS is always a valid target.

Look at the bottom right of the screen when he's applying the bushes. You will see that the "Decorations" block has 6 slots. When he's done adding bushes he had only used 3 of those slots.
In other words, you're allowed 6 decorations on your tank. He only used 3.

It says for bush #1 he can use it a total of 6 times in the decoration selector screen

The Wiesel really is a stealth tank, I've just hid around people so many times playing the Wiesel and I never realized that was the whole gameplay of the Wiesel. Also I loved each time Spookston discovered the Wiesel tumble. Wish he discovered that if you hit something hard enough you can destroy your track or even be destroyed, I have been killed by stairs once.
Yeah i killed my driver in the BT-5 one time so i cant say im too surprised, one of my very first experiences in the game.
Imagine being a crew member inside of one of these things as the driver hits the smallest little pebble and completely flips the entire vehicle, banging your head against EVERY piece of metal and equipment inside.

Any crash above like 30kmh will cripple you and anything above 45 will straight up kill you.

YES. I love this little trapdoor spider so much. You can fit them in GOOFY places. I once got mine behind the tiny wall by the doorway on the church in the middle of the Red Desert map. I sat there engine off for like 10 minutes while the enemy team tried to figure out why they couldn't decap.
Spook...you sir, have used bushes. You've become the very thing you swore to destroy.
Seriously now, those tiny scouts are so much fun. I've recently unlocked the Foxy and damn. The ability to just zoom around the enemy team, lighting them all up with your binoculars is amazing.
In terms of suggestions... Chieftain Mk10 maybe?

That warthog run section with the Wiesel genuinely had me on the edge of my seat, in giggly excitement watching you jump over the hills as the (very well edited with halo sound) shots flew by, and the Jagpanther sounding like a wraith sent me straight back to 2007. God bless.

Pardon me, the *Wiesel 1A4* is an absolute goblin of a German “SPAA” (not with that gun elevation is isn’t) that’s very smol, very fast, and has a very good 20mm autocannon with an APDS belt that has 66mm of penetration. *Phil Swift voice* That’s a lotta damage! (Basically asking Spook to play the Wiesel 1A4 cause it’s a meme tank. Oh also make sure to use bushes for extra lolz)

Attempt 7 Challenge: For high tier support a nations MBT with its respective APC/IFV counterpart (ie Abrams/Bradley, T90/BMP2M, etc.) Challenge is keeping the other player alive and supporting it without stealing kills (breaking barrels, tracking, repairing, etc) it being a random should help make it interesting.

I drive in Wiesels in the German military and this is literally how they are used.
Wiesel is ferret in english and we use em as such. Just crawlint arround like little rats.
We now have a new Weapon system called the MELLs, a Rocket system similar to the javelin. You can steer the rocket in flight via the Weapon system like a video game and it top attacks basically avoiding all Soft and Hard defenses of Tanks.
One issue: the Wiesel is in no way armored. As you might know from war thunder, even 762 can turn that thing into swiss cheese.
The Wiesel being a literal Goblin is what makes it so great.
It can reach places no one expects without Pioneers having to chop down trees and because its so small it usually looks like rocks or bushes especially since we camo them with 3D netting and branches.
On training OPs the Enemy Leopards where at some point so terrified since we kept shooting them without them even knowing were there that they started to shoot Boulders thinking its us.
The wiesel would never win a 1v1 against a tank. But being a Goblin and using your Goblin/rat mindset to find little rat spots to hide in is what makes it so effective.

War Thunder Spotting in a nutshell:
Clear line of sight, dead center in crosshairs, stationary, under 300 meters away: Not spotted, extended spotting cooldown engaged
2000 meters away, behind dense foliage, 3 buildings, a mountain, moving at Mach Jesus, crosshairs aimed at the sky: Spotted
13th time challenging Spookston to bring the Char 25t into an 8.3 lineup, and then incrementally increase the BR to find when the tank becomes unironically unplayable.

Oh and i got an idea. Pretty much this but you have to "knife" enemies, so only kills from behind at relatively close range. Vehicle is your choice.

for "stealth kills" some kind of rule like you can only shoot 4 shots from your autocannon before you have to abandon the attempt and sneak behind them a second time could be fun

Feel like the rules should be.
1. Bush it up like your playing all ghillied up.
2. Planes and other gremin rat vehicles are not to be fired on unless you know they’ve spotted you and you have to kill them before they “alert” the bigger tanks.
3. All bigger vehicles and tanks can only be attacked from behind and unnoticed until it’s death or the turret rotates or is moved to your direction where then you can only shoot the barrel and the tracks to disable but absolutely no kill shots and you must run away afterwards and let someone else kill it as they’ve already spotted you and know your in the area.
The skyrim references in this vid make me put a smile in my face, thx spook

With as often as Spookston uses halo music and sound effects, I'm surprised we haven't seen Spookston play Halo.
The memes are somehow getting even better and better with each video, that lil splash sound effect was *chef's kiss.
Notice that Spookston's eyes are forward-facing, meaning he is a predator who hones onto his prey.
The Jamiroquai meme at the start makes this video so much funnier
funny thing is, "ratting" / "being a gremlin" is exactly how the weisel is supposed to be used in real life, a group of tow and 20 mm weisels will use their speed to flank an enemy formation, then all together open fire from different directions, deal as much damage as possible before running it back and doing the same thing again.
Had a really garbage morning...just wanted to say Thank you Spookston this video was exactly what I needed to lighten my mood and put a smile on my face. BTW everytime I hear a Halo sound effect it brings up such fond memories of playing Halo with my kids years ago so thanks for that as well.

As long as you dong shoot and you are not something absolutely massive, it is actually extremely easy to hide in literal plain sight.
I sometimes have get intelligence missions and i just sit on the less popular side of the map and spot people, usually even after my team got entirely ran over i can sit and be unnoticed.
This might be a good time to suggest my challenge again, be THE BEST Teamate!
No kills, only assists, scouts, base captures ect, win the match AND be top of the team. You are allowed a friend like Odd or whoever. You CAN shoot down planes, but no killing ground targets, including with artillery.
