Best part is the incredibly strong 10.7 USA teammates that usually have fully lineups including CAS that can carry battlles. German 2a4s don't get that luxurry as much.

Honestly I'm going to buy it. Yes yes I know it's just the first M1 Abrams. Historically it SHOULD have the 120 but Gaijin said they gave it the 105 for "balance" meanwhile the Challenger, Leo 2 AND Merkava use the 120. And the Turms has a 125 at 10.0. Makes no sense but the M1 is still a good tank. With that being said I really like US top tier. My birthday is next month so I'll treat myself

It was hilarious Gaijins justifications in the forums for only giving it the 105 at that battle rating. In the future they need to model/give players the option to mount the 120 on the vehicle.

Pretty good overall, like you said just a mid gun/shell. Very fast, very spongey, I have a feeling they’ll add a new shell or even consider changing the gun on it to make it more usable

The KVT irl was an M1A1, which we wont see as a premium until rank 8 drops. When it does i suspect thisll get swapped out like the prem centauro was

@@darugdawg2453 I don’t have a ton of trouble dealing with those, if you shoot for breech it usually racks them and I find a lot of Turms being dumb and shooting my hull

The reload speed with the 105 makes it a w key monster, still don’t fight certain nations head on but that’s just top tier
Reasonable (by comparison) operating costs- Crew training is 10,000 SL. repair cost is 3,183 SL and free repair time Nine Days, 16 minutes. compare to tech tree M-1 at 210,000 SL crew training, 3,986 SL repair and free repair time repair time 12 Days 18 hours and 21 minutes. German premium Leopard at 10.3 is 10K crew training, 3,183 repair and 9 days 16 minutes.
While I understand why they made it just an M1, little miffed that they say it’s for balance or something. Like the Swedes had that CV that was pretty unreal so they just straight up changed it. Straight up removed Panther 2 cuz it doesn’t exist. Other premium MBTs are still true to their irl counterparts, they’re just variants like exports or camo. Still, it’s a cool tank to have, and it’s another for my 10.3 lineup so why not.
I heard Krasnovia is allied with Albonia aka the country the French stopped shelling when they realized there was nothing worth destroying.

While ive been playing my lepord 2 since this came out ive noticed that its harder for both me and the enemy to destroy eachother, i assume for them its because of the 105 but i cant find a reason i one shot these less than other abrams

M1 can pen leo2a4 cheek and knock out both gunner and commander. Sometimes even the breach

Found this channel recently and it's been a big help improving my gameplay and my fathers. My dad plays it during the day and gets pissed off and ive been showing him the videos so we can learn together
Coming from top teir Russia to this is really nice.. I love the mobility survivability and the gun depression. I find the cannon is fine just gotta take careful shots
It’s okay. It’s top shell struggles with Russian turms and t80s frontally and needs to aim for weak spots while the Russians can just kick your ass with their 3bm42 round. Other than that, use the speed to your advantage and the relatively quick reload is quite forgiving as well
Sorta kinda, if they’re angled and your shooting from front it’s damn near impossible but If they’re directly facing you it sucks, otherwise you gotta barrel them
@blown70charger99 even then sometimes shooting barrel will make your dart disappear (speaking from experience) so I would usually just shoot the breach which is MUCH more reliable way.

@@darugdawg2453 Who's "people"? No one's saying the speed is like m18 vs panther lol. It's just how the abrams is; mobile and quick. great top speed and good reverse speed for shooting and scooting compared to slow russian vehicles. that's all.

I took the vismod off on mine and it works well as a premium tank
I think this tank is one of the good prem tanks to learn top tier if one comes from getting premium vehicles. It has “armor” but not enough to learn the patience and tactics. Gun is stable but not too enough to make us memorize the weak points. NVG is the not greatest but better than none. And you get a cool decoration on your own M1 tank! Price is a bit high, but better than riding XM1 to grind US. Thanks for the reviews as always tankenstein.
I had purchased this on pre-order soon after it was announced and then purchased the XM1 shortly after it went on sale in May, along with some others (happened before the economy bs, the May sale purchase just days before)
The XM1 felt rather disappointing to me tbh, especially since I bought and played the TURMS and Leo2a4 before the XM1. I played a few games with it, getting a little further down the USA tree, but ended up going back to play mainly USSR. Since the update when I finally got the KVT, I've been taking both of them out and having a blast, and admittedly doing better with the XM1 than I had been. I believe the KVT is a better introduction into high tier USA than the XM1 is, especially if you're unfamiliar with tanks with more than 4 rounds and don't realize that the XM1 has APFSDS but the default loadout is APDS, HEATFS, HESH, and Smoke and you have to select the APFSDS (don't want to admit how long it took me to realize that) while the KVT shows up with one of its APFSDS in the default loadout.
@@Racko94 make sure to grab the M774! While M735 does the same when it pens, the m774 has higher pen value. Also I too pre ordered the thing when it was first announced. But overall like you said: great top tier tank to learn the game. Though I wish we could HEATFS rounds with the m774..

My favorite part of the american techtree are the shermans so honestly i don't mind a lack of penetratio so seems like a great vehicle.
I hate how people praise blowout panels, blowout panels will leave you with 1 or 0 rounds depending if you have one in barrel and will make you sitting duck, I mean they make sense in real life obviously, but in this game I don't think so.
Better to survive with your teammates’ support than to get ammo-racked, instantly sending you back to the Lobby.
As of this morning the M1KVT is 10.3, not 10.0
I love it, great tank. Not for a player new to top tier, as it doesn’t hold your hand like a lot of top tier premiums do.

for me, the M1 Abrams is the best tank in the game for its BR. it's better than the 2A4, but the KVT for me is not worth it because I already unlocked all the tanks in the US tech tree

@@darugdawg2453 sry but the reload makes up for it, 2a4 is better in armor and gun but the reload makes the tank an absolute monster its feels like type 10 despite having 1 second slower reload

Abrams has 370 mm of pen, no armor, barely fast, no ERA, and bad rounds compared to literally every tank at 10.3 (even 9.7 soviet tanks get better ammo) what is the abrams better at? Dying??

Heavily disagree with describing this as a damage sponge with better armor then the Leo 2a4. Quite the opposite. Only good things going for this is its speed and reload speed. Other wise dm23 and 3bm42 will easily go through ypur turret and hull.
I found it interesting that the KVT has only 1 top mounted MG whereas the TT Abrams has 2

I hope people are making sure they're using M774 and not M735 lol, its not equipped initially.
It's just an M1. it's an average tank with absent armor and sub-par ammo.

4 months after but, m1 kvt looks better than xm1, the t55AM1 is incredible for russia, now you need to choose, if you want play US, go to m1, if you want to play russia, go to t55

How does the KVT stack up against the XM-1?
basically same. it struggle to pen esp in emergency close quarters. the only improvement is you are more survivable vs autocannon but still paper vs main guns

I still don’t know why the normal abrams is 10.3, meanwhile russian tanks at 9.7 gets better ammo and generally better armor cause their OP era and trolly armor, 3bm42 will lolpen you basically anywhere, and generally will wipe your crew out
I don't understand why people still support this game. Obviously broken, hates new players, pure pay to win, etc. Gaijin only fixes the economy because of dwindling numbers and yet here you are...immediately shilling for them. Fix the game...
