I'd argue that because Beet n Stag are so much of a pair, they kind of have to go in the same tier in the same vein as the Wings. Yes, Beet was more of an actual character than Stag, but Stag's presence added enough comedy and flavor to the scenes that separating the two almost seems wrong.

Ok seriously sentai, you can make Abrakiller and Beet and stag buster sixth rangers but not Geki Chopper? That is super confusing and I can see why Linkara said he didn't care
I could probably see GekiChopper being retconed as a Sixth in like the 50th Sentai, unless there's a mandate that doesn't allow him to.
Yeah. If it was a mandate they you can't really argue. But if it wasn't then you have a problem
The main reasons lie within both Abaranger and Gekiranger.
Abarekiller is pretty much one of the most unique rangers as he was one of the main villains. He actually didn't switch sides until the final arc, and even then he died only 2 episodes after he joined the team. There's also the whole Abarepink thing but she doesn't really count. All in all, 6th Ranger was probably the best place to put him.
Gekichopper on the other hand was a good guy that joined in the same episode he was introduced in. Not only that, but he's technically the 4th member of the team, as he was originally meant to be apart of the original team. The only reason why he's 5th is because he returned after the Gekiviolet arc. Speaking of Gekiviolet, he should also be counted as he has several 6th Ranger-like traits as well. Plus, there's the fact that he technically has the same Henshin Devices as the Core 3, so yeah.
Beet Buster and Stag Buster are the odd ones out in this. Yes they feel 6th Ranger-like, but Gekiviolet and Gekichopper also do, despite counting as Cores. Not only that, but their Dobutsu counterparts are Cores and they were paired with Gokai Green and Gokai Pink in Go-Busters vs. Gokaiger. I'd say it's not truly confirmed they're 6th Rangers until we see Gokai Silver transforms into a hybrid of them.
Power Rangers has its own separate set of Classifications (e.g. Magna Defender counts as a 6th Ranger unlike Black Knight and Lightspeed Rescue has a 6th Ranger in Titanium Ranger unlike GoGoV).

My biggest issue with Kou is that after the other Dairanger’s discovered his true identity as the Kiba Ranger, he was sidelined until the mech battle for a lot of the monster-of-the-week episodes and wasn’t allowed to contribute to the action otherwise. Those would have been a perfect opportunity for him to really grow and mature but instead they turned him into a glorified power-up for the team and then had him leave the team for a while. 6th Rangers pre-Gokaiger were done pretty dirty sometimes!

What was wrong with Ryusoul Gold?
I'm okay with most of them, but for me, shurikenger, zyuoh the world and lupat X won't be that high, they're going to B at the highest. Go-on wings will be a C. Time fire, magishine, ToQ 6gou and starninger will go up one.
@@fankai4530 I’d personally put GoseiKnight higher as well. While I didn’t like how disconnected from the team he was I really liked his arc about learning to work with the Goseigers and learn to accept humans as part of nature. I would have liked it if they gave him a human form so that he could work more closely with the Goseigers and maybe have the series end with him walking the Earth as a human until he was needed again.

I haven't watched that much Sentai, but my favourite sixth ranger is Definitely ToQ6 I like legit cried when he said the Rainbow Line is my place to Live near the end of the show, cuz he was definitely the best character in the Show lol
I would argue that Noel's actor brings it more for his character than the writing and story with Noel
Noel's actor was amazing. He really sold the character for me.

Why is kyuranger "up in the air"? Is there confusion about the show being sentai? Cause there better no be any question about who the extra rangers are in that show. It's called Space Squad 9-ranger. When you have more than 9 rangers on a squad called 9-ranger, you subtract 9 from the total number of rangers and what remains is the EXTRA rangers. So, Ryu Commander, Skyblue, and Houou Soldier belong on this video!

So I skipped Ryusoulger after seeing how bad the first few episodes were. Did it actually get worse?

@@aionlion It is positively dreadful. Like, I wouldn't be surprised if it knocked ninninger out of the last spot of worst Sentai ever. And the thing is, despite all of its MANY faults, I consider Ninninger to be my personal guilty pleasure. I know it's bad, but I have a soft spot for it.
Ryusoulger has nothing of the sort. Yes, Takaharu is annoying, due mainly to the actor's lack of experience, but he's also (to me at least) kinda endearing. And they have two genuinely enjoyable characters, Kasumi (Momoninger) and Kinji (Starninger), whereas NONE of the Ryusoulger cast is remotely likeable. Worse of all, they have two of the most annoying and dislikeable characters I've seen in Sentai, Bamba and Canalo.

I agree entirely. If Kiramager gets a Sixth Ranger and they have a different highlight colour/belt or buckle (the main five have silver) then it'll prove Ryu Commander as Sixth a bit more (if Houou Soldier was meant to be a Sixth then he should've had gold highlights and not the bog standard silver like the rest of the team).
I wish this debate could be solved sooner rather than later like Kamen Rider has done in this battle of (semi)-literalism vs plot importance (only once has plot importance won and that was with Gatack - the rest: G3, Garren, Putotyra, Genius, Grand Zi-O were all literalism).
@@Combaticon If that was the case then by that logic Kibaranger and Gokai Silver aren't Sixths as the have the same belts as their Core Teams.
@@ChunkeexMunkee Yeah, they're the odd ones mainly because the their Core Teams' belt and buckles are already gold and Silver & White are probably hard colours to work with if the teams highlight colour is already gold.
GaoSilver and AbareKiller at least have different symbols on their buckles.
But again, if they wanted to to distingish Houou Soldier as the Sixth, then he could have had the gold highlights and belt instead.
Dark Paladin I don’t think they really needed a different colour highlight for the suit. He already looks unique compared to the others, even more-so than Ryu Commander. Besides, Houou Soldier has more 6th Ranger-Like qualities than Ryu Commander.

Same. Honestly he had the best arc of the whole cast where he tried to find value in human life and accept humans as part of the Earth he wished to protect. I would have liked it if he had a human disguise so that he could blend in and hang out with the Goseigers outside of combat kind of like a Super Sentai Terminator. Maybe even have the story end with him walking the Earth as a human until he was needed again!

The fact that Gekichopper isn't a 6th still bugs me, RyuuCommander and HouHou Soldier are undecided (although still I think that Soldier is the true 6th) and Ryusoulger was only bad because everyone probably expected it to be like Shinkenger, with its motif being the focus of the show and great story telling along character arc and development.
Also nobody was asking for a 4th dinosaur Sentai, much less one that copies a lot from Kyoryuger
@@rbraunbeck96 You're right but I couldn't picture a Dragon themed Sentai by the Mecha concept alone to be honest. They would have to pull a miracle out their asses to make them eye candy worthy.

Kanaro should be in another place. Kou is not trash. Let's see how the Extra rangers/heros list turns out & the Movie/v cinemas riders turns out as well.
