It just takes little longer time to finish all those task to perform the replacement. So few things need to be careful.
1. Disconnect the battery first
2. Be gentle with all this flex connectors.
3. Keep all screws organized.
4.Don't miss out a few hidden screws before pull out the motherboard.

Thank you so much. Best video I could find, your step by step is phenomenal. thanks!!!
how much does it cost to replace the keyboard in the A1466 model?
If only certain keys don't work (a, q, y, 1, and 6 ) and sometimes they do work, should I still replace keyboard or is there something else that could be done like a type of reset? This one was replaced a while ago but never worked 100%
Few buttons in keyboard not working-F4,4,r,f,v. Technician suggested to replace keyboard/ Trackpad connector. Is he correct ? Where will I get this cable ? I have macbook air 13" 2016 model

Can I use some other company keyboard in my MacBook Air 2015 💻
Man after spilling some wine on my keyboard number one, two and three don't work, thought it was going to be a straight forward job but noo... I'm wondering if I could get away with disconnecting the battery & motherboard and just soaking the keyboard in some Isopropyl alcohol. Any thoughts on this idea?
We did something similar with a MacBook pro time ago, we spilled a can of cane sugar soda. Disconnected the battery and brushed the crystallized sugar with a tootbrush from the motherboard, then disconnected the motherboard and then didn't submerged the whole keyboard but put a lot of alcohol around and tried to shake the computer around to move the alcohol here and there. Let it air dry in front of a fan and after a couple of days reconnected everything and it worked! So maybe you can to similar, given the macbook is easier to disassemble than the old pro, from what I see. So maybe it will work but can't tell for sure. Good luck!
@@eliastorre Thanks for that, gives me hope.
