You did a great job with the board. I have found you can sand the resin to about 1200 grit and finish the board and the resin with another coat of resin painted on, it flattens itself off. You can also finish it with clear coat with your sprayer.😊
Hi My Mate, first attempt at that sort of job? Total success I'd say. As for the router (my fav tool) can be tricky to use, mistakes are easy to make as a beginner but you managed it pretty well I'd also say. Keep at it you can do so much with a Router.
excellent, has come out really well and good to see something different and learning a new skill, you could always put some small LED lights under it to really highlight the resin as well, just a thought, looks great anyway
Nice work mate, looks cool. I've done some small jobs with epoxy, points covers and cam end caps, really good stuff to work with and polishes up really well. When mixing the resin I was shown to mix first then pour into a second cup and mix again, this makes sure you get a really even mix.
Hey Mackie!! Very nice. I want it!! Free tools are always welcome. Knowing you, it was brave of sealey!!
Yes! Thank you! HAHA, I bet they had their concerns, but after all I am just being honest.
Looks good. Maybe that would make a cool wall hanging. 👍
Possibly, currently using it to rest my beer on it :)
That looks the bollocks matey.Really nice. All the best.
Thanks man! Really appreciate that
Excellent job for the 1st attempt 🤘🍺
I tried...
Looks amazing. Great job!
Thank you! Cheers!

Thanks for the tips! I did wanted to keep the raw wood not covered with resin, which is why I went with the polishing. But good to know, so thanks!

Thanks for sharing, and yes, loving my new toy!

Maybe next one. I didn't wanted to overcomplicate it for the first try! And thank you
@@MackieBass stick on ones underneath it so as shine up from below and not impregnated into the resin, sorry should have explained better lol

That does sound like a plan! I'll keep that in mind for the next project.
Nice project, a couple of little led lights underneath would light that up ?
Yes, definitely, perhaps with the next one I can experiment a little more.
Regarding air bubbles, isn't it a good idea to use some sort of vacuum pump to get rid of it before pouring the resin?
Probably, but I wasn't expecting them to be trapped. Maybe with the next one!
Go over it with a Hot air gun why it is still wet it will bring all the bubbles out
I will try to remember that one for sure
