I have been a photographer for 55+ years but just received my DJI Mini 3 Pro a few days ago. So much to learn. So much to un-learn. Thank you for the suggestions.
Hi John, welcome aboard! I was also a photographer and videographer before starting to fly drones, although not as experienced as you. You will certainly enjoy it. The world seen from above is totally different, especially with top/down shots
Your outlook on life, (Having the Patience of Job) and the explanation of how and where to save and find a Hyperlapse waypoint missions is very encouraging and I thank you for that.
Amazing work, I loved in the scouting video, how the orange sky was revealed in a pop of color. The challenge for me with waypoint hyperlapses, particularly at sunset, is that the winds tend to come and go, shaking my video, and warp stabilizer can only do so much to fix it. These videos help me immensely, looking at your hyperlapse of the bridge and traffic, I see that using a longer lens creates the feeling that you are right in the traffic itself, very moving for the viewer!

Excellent video. Question: I want the video to stop for a couple of seconds at the end (like on Mt Etna) while still showing movement in the city. I thought about duplicating the last waypoint, but if I have 3 waypoints, it would stay on the last point half of the sequence. Any ideas? Don't want to use a bunch of waypoints, although that would make the last segment shorter. Thanks
Thank you Mike, the best way is to use a technique known as Cinemagraph In your video editor you duplicate the layer and then you freeze the layer above and apply a mask that will cover the area that you want to remain frozen. The remaining part will keep moving. II have made a video about it: ruclips.net/video/4BBzylez3d4/видео.html
I use On1 for RAW photo editing and for photo and video organization, which is actually very useful. With hyperlapses most of the editing is done on the RAW files. I do that on On1 and then produce the hyperlapse through On1. I then import it into Premiere Pro, where I can add some minor adjustments, mostly dynamic color grading and stabilizing

Many thanks Michael,
yes, strong wind affects the final result, especially with lightweight drones
Thanks for all the tips on how to take better Hyperlapses. Great video my friend.
Thank you Ron,
I appreciate your support

Great tutorial. What do you think are the best settings for Aurora polaris (northern light)? Is the mini 3 pro capable of creating good results?
Bravo! Grazie
Grazie a te!
