Its my main question. All the latest Nfs didnt by far brought me enough fun as in NFSU and Most Wanted. Is this the game that will make me feel young again?

I’m really enjoying this new NFS game. It seems (at least to me) to have pulled interesting gameplay mechanics from a few different mid-00s racing games and put them all together pretty seamlessly. The ones I’ve noticed (so far) are: - Slipstream/drift turbo and in-air car control from Midnight Club - the driveaway crash mechanic from Burnout - the calendar structure and betting mechanic from Juiced - Gymkhana (Takeover) races from DiRT 3 - Racebreaker and having to drive to objectives from NFSU2 there’s probably a bunch more I’m missing, but regardless it’s the first NFS game in a while that I haven’t been able to put down.
I’m definitely getting this, especially after this review. My older brother recently passed and we used to play all the old NFS games together on PS2 when we were kids. This is a welcome game and one I’m gonna get into again🤘🏻

If they keep releasing NFS games like Heat and Unbound, they might actually have a chance at bringing back NFS into the mainstream as a competitor against Forza. Forza is a hyper realistic (visual-wise) semi-arcade game, but thanks to that NFS could just go wild with their visuals and arcade style, and I feel like if they pull some creative stuff with the next NFS too, then the brand will regain some of its trust by the oldschool gamers, and it will attract a hell lot of newcomers too. Super hyped to see what they come up with the next time
Unbound is a step in the wrong direction, i mean what racing game fan wants anime tyre smoke and anime wings coming from your doors 🤣 its actually kind of shit
Falcon, the whole team really; thank you! These videos are so awesome for those of us who really have to squint and stare at a game before dropping funds to be sure we are going to get something out of it. I hope the entire Gameranx team has a safe and sweet holiday season. Also...not that its important or anything, but where the hell is that pizza Jake keeps promising? I told Dominos that he had it covered and they simply won't accept that.
Visual style really reminds me of Amped 3 from the Xbox 360 launch, and that’s not a bad thing at all. Really stands out, looking forward to playing this NFS
I found myself extremely hyped after hearing you describe how the game structure works. I like that in the beginning, you're not expected to actually finish 1st every single event, and that there's no rubberbanding AI. Along with how the heat and week systems work, and the fact that you can only retry an event 4 times in one in-game day, it really seems like the devs are actually trying to make it interesting and challenging. Looking forward to playing this game!
my experience thus far, the rubberbanding can kick in at random, at one point Boost can literally zoom past me as i near the finish line, on another, the rivals all were behind me without any sudden boosts
@@Yawnjoo5 because the other racers have boost ability just like you... common sense cmon man you just said it they randomly boost past ya yaaaaa just like the player....
Another huge plus for the game: when you unlock cars in single player, you get those cars in multiplayer as well. Pretty nice quality of life thing if you spend a lot of time in SP then want to give MP a shot
I feel like the cartoony cell shading stuff is so they could add more detail to the cars and environment. They essentially reduce the detail on "non essential" stuff like character models and smoke, add in some fun stuff, and you can get a bit more traction out of the more important, potentially more taxing things.
i wouldnt mind it if it could be turned off while driving, apparently its not something u can do. character models are meh to me but thats not what ima look at while driving so idc
Overall solid review! I feel you could’ve covered the customizations of the vehicles and character clothes. The voice options for characters are terrible and hopefully they add more clothes, but the online racing is very clean. No breaks or frame drop. The soundtrack is solid too, go A$AP 🤘🏻 Playing on Series X
This game is awesome the story takes a sec to get rolling but after the 1st week it's awesome and the multi-player is sick as well and actually grinding to get cars is dope too..I just wish they would do drag events that would make this game whole
Not gonna lie I actually like the set up to the story. Not a great story or anything so far but when the real beginning starts, I was kinda caught off guard.
I've never been a big fan of the NFS series but damn this video actually makes me wanna buy this game, apart from the repetitiveness, the whole strategy and management side of it sounds pretty refreshing and really fun to go through. Gameranx never disappoints, great video.
Mad respect for Gameranx. Consistently uploading videos every single day for us. One of the reason I'm enjoying this channel so much is of their dedication.
I think the weighty feeling and toughness of the cars make it feel a little more real and I like that. Reminds me of how the cars handled in 2010 Hot Pursuit.

I was super hesitant when I saw the first trailer, but it his has to be the best game since the old days. The styling grew on me (you can turn off most effects though), both grip and drift handling is viable, and the soundtrack is solid. The intro is a bit of a slog and overall progression feels just a bit too grindy, but it’s great as a whole package.

Unbound is the best Need For Speed game since Hot Pursuit 2010. Loads of fun, incredibly challenging, and no microtransactions. One of my favorite games of 2022.
@@erso_returned2530 I agree with Sonic it definitely feels like they are back on track with this game, and after 15 hours into the game, I can easily say this is the best NFS in the last 10 years or so.
always appreciate your reviews and takes on games Falcon. Jake also does a good job, and besides one or two other channels, yours also always give the most honest opinions and takes on them which is rare considering most other reviewers are basically just paid to promote the games. appreciate you guys and keep up the good work!
Agree, this channel always feels like it's not trying to sell me on something. They throw some pretty heavy handed shots at games that deserve it sometimes and I appreciate that. They also seem to approach games from a fun first perspective, which is great. D
This game was surprisingly great. I really enjoyed it. I love the art style, music was really good (I like the music in Unboun better than Heat) and driving around feels great. Story was ok but the rest of the game was awesome.
I would like to see something like what they did back in 2007 with Need for Speed ProStreet. That style was what I enjoyed growing up. Or remastering the original Most Wanted or Carbon. They both would be great. Especially with today’s graphics imo.
I honestly didn't know they made another NFS game but I will say that I'm hoping they'll remaster NFS Underground that was very fun to play back in the day.
Picked it up at GameStop for $40 (also listed on Target for same price). Played for an hour after work, it’s a refreshing take on a racing game. So far I’m really liking it.
What I wish they could add in the online mode is custom races like they did in Payback where you can race from point A to B and still earn cash. Only thing I wish they would add is the type of races like laps, sprint, and even togue drifting. I would looooove to get canyon races like in Carbon if they update the map in the future to give me that Initial D feel. So far, solid and better game than Heat!
Looks dope but I just wish for a Need For Speed Carbon 2 one day. First one had so much potential, good enough story, and tense moments on those canyon races/drift events. Super dope
Its funny, somehow Carbon was my least favourite NFS, i gave up on it pretty quickly. Most wanted 2005 and Underground 2 were my favourites by far. Also quite enjoyed Pro Street
Im not usually into racing games, the last one that I’ve played thoroughly was Burnout Revenge and it’s been hard to get into any racing game since then. But with this I’ve been having a really fun time, the challenge of limited replays and the rogue-lite aspect of losing the cops to keep cash keeps it interesting for me.
I wish this game had cross-save. I also played the trial on GamePass, but I would actually like to finish the game on PS5 when I have money to buy the full game, solely because I prefer the PS5 controller.

I honestly love this game. I have almost no complaints. It’s Really fun game though. And the graphics look amazing in person I haven’t been able to put it down. I love the music playlists within the game, the scenery, the fact that it is basically taking place in Chicago even though they name the city “lake shore” in the game which is actually a Main Street in Chicago “lake shore dr”. I love the direction they took this game in. Mixing rap/hip hop, with racing & this whole wierd style of design as far as characters and effects. It’s Truly a new step up for racing games.
The game looks great and fluid. I loved me some of the Old NFS' (HS and UG2) but have mainly been playing Codemasters racers for the past 10 or so years. This might just get me back to NFS.
This is genuinely the best NFS in YEARS! Nothing is really new, however they took the best from the last few NFS games, and bundled it all together. The random garage events, and delivery events, and car prizes do change up the day, so even if there is a touch a repetition there are things to add variety to every day. Once you start optimizing your days and find a car that fits your driving style, the game does become a touch easier. Honestly if you enjoy arcade racers, pick this up ASAP (Rocky?).
@@FallenJustice The enjoyability and quality of the game is subjective. Their opinion and thoughts are valid. There's no need to say "are you high?" It doesn't bring anything constructive to a discussion.
Without a sense of progression or goal there really isn't much point, and that isn't enough anymore unlike back in the 90's. If you want just cars there are plenty of games which cater to that such as GRID, Dirt, Forza Horizon etc etc why miss it when you can just play games like it?
The last racing game I got fully involved in was Burnout Paradise, and it was way better than I thought it'd be. Also got it on sale for like $4.99 😂 more than likely going to get this NFS game when it's a bit cheaper since racing games aren't really my thing anymore. Kinda reminds me of NFS Underground 1+2.
Burnout Paradise was developed by Criterion, the same studio that was used to develop NFS unbound. That's why this NFS stands a chance instead of dejection.
@@paranoidandroid___1248 I think we should create a group to notify each other when XSX games become affordable then we'd go forward for it. I'm all for it. Let me know in case you already have such a group.
This one could be big for EA. They released it just at Black Friday and it seems like it could hold it's value better than their games in the past that relied on the cash shop to make revenue as the game filled up the bargain bins. If they can prove that you can get a complete experience for one price, the game will hold it's value longer and early adopters will feel better about their purchase and look to buy the next game at release.
Dude, I feel thats so spot on. A lot of developers put in micro transactions to make a quick buck without realizing that it really disuades people from buying the next game.
I think a lot of people fail to realize a lot of great things about this game and base their opinions completely on comment sections and obscure tiktoks. It's a great example of forming an opinion without trying it yourself. However this review is probably the best I've seen and gives the game a chance to show how amazing it is. Criterion did amazing with Unbound and honestly is the best since 2012 (yes Heat was great but I've grown to dislike many Ghost developed games because I've always been a Blackbox/Criterion person). The graphics are amazing regardless of the fact the game is based off of Frostbyte, especially the art style which I'm happy to find the Falcon genuinely likes. The handling model is much better than previous Ghost NFS', people just complain because they can't drive or don't understand how tuning works. Obviously, the handling is no Forza, but thats what makes the game different, it's not the same as Heat in most ways (even though the checkpoints are just retextured Heat checkpoints). The cops are something I see a lot of flaming about. Most videos I see on it, the player is either on Heat 1 or is early within the campaign. Trust me when I say this but the cops get, VERY VERY hard to deal with, especially when on the Intense difficulty which only gives 60% of your health. Heat 5 is devastating especially when you have nearly 100k and no more repair kits, youre constantly trying to strategize and find a way out of the chase, which I truly love. This game isn't a perfect 10 but its at least an 8 or 9. Being someone who's played the franchise since Underground, Unbound feels like modern Underground 3 to me, and playing it brought back so much nostalgia and memories of the older games. Flame me all you want, but this is more interesting and fun than FH5 after the Hotwheels updates.
This is the first time I've ever thought about the Need for Speed series in ages. The last one I touched was Most Wanted in like 2012? I thoroughly enjoyed that one, Underground 1 & 2 and Carbon. Heard good things about Heat but never checked it out. I think NFS heavily leaning into these different art styles and aesthetics (like Heat) makes a lot of sense and I love it from a design perspective. Might pick this one up.
I like that they're adding style to the game, but if you're going to do so, go all out... Add even more cel shaded graphics, as the city looks pretty boring. The narrator of the video seemed pretty bored with the game as it feels too similar to prior games... Here's what I've been missing from the NFS games since the *PS2* days... 1) more WILD+NEW+EXOTIC cars, instead of the same ol cars in each game... Nice to see the Eclipse in this game, but we need MORE unique/new to the series cars in these new NFS games to actually excite fans..it IS a game about CARS after all... 2) the sense of SPEEEEEEED!!! What happened to games like Burnout, RIDGE RACER/RAGE RACER + the first THREE NFS games on PS1?! Again, it IS a RACING game.. Turn UP the damn heat, not down! I'm not excited by the slow sense of speed of the game, and part of that is due to the tracks, or lack thereof... 3) EXCITING tracks... Not everything needs to be realistic. The narrator of this video isn't the only one getting bored of open world racing games with boring generic streets... I'll take the tracks from NFS3 on PS1 ANY day over these visually and technically boring open world "tracks". This would help with sense of speed too, as tracks are MADE for speed unlike a city.....
Really the only gripe I have with this game is that the heat just grows too fast. You’re spending most of your day on Heat 5 anyways and the night will be Heat 5 every time. So it just gets annoying to dodge and deal with the cops all the time. Also the Cop chase resume after a race doesn’t really work as intended, because they put me in the chase lots of times when there was no cop around me but chasing the other racers who were miles behind me.
Never knew this game existed lol my son is playing NFS Heat on the One X at the moment. I played it a long time back and it was pretty cool considering I’ve been hardcore playing for a for a long long time. This looks great, just got it on the PS5 on sale for 21 bucks
Really good modern underground 2 vibes. This game is really fun! Coming from someone who used to play nfs but over the last several years playing forza and motorsport, that being said I just picked up a series x and saw gameplay of this and it plays sooo good! The world is gorgeous, the sounds of the turbos and exhaust crackles are great. Console controls are meh for manual lovers but you get used it to it. Give it a try I'm almost done with my 10 hours, I'll probably cop this It's too good, feels like real street racing again!
I dont think the car thing is that much of an issue past the first qualifier. I bought a new car after every qualifier and had enough money to fully upgrade them to top of their class by midway through the week. It does get a little pricey if you want to favour visual customisation over performance but other than that I think if you're willing to play it a little risky at night you should have no problem buying a new car every now and again
When I first saw the cartoon style in trailers I was like wtf. I actually kinda like it now. The driving effects you can make as crazy or subtle as you want at least. My thing is I think they did make the races a little too hard for the casual audience. Like the difference between difficulty levels is only really how hard cops are and more or less restarts. They should definitely make the races easier with how fast the best car is on easy as I can see more casual gamers give up.
@@jungl3boy how is that not the point the went for a specific thing no one gets longterm enjoyment out of being 10 seconds ahead every race at that point just drive the cars in freeroam
Another thing if your car is maxed out in its class the B to S+ rating if its as far into A class as you can get withouht going up to A+ class then the races are easier obviously if you just got you car into A+ its not gonna be the best in its class
For me is lacking free roam cars that you can challenge for a quick event, maybe a drag, point to point, quick drift event, or even something big like a Heat related event when you challenge another racer to complete objectives against the police (Number of takedowns, cost to state, number of units chasing, time in pursuit, etc)
As someone who grew up heavily playing the NFS games Unbound is honestly pretty good. The art style definitely grew on me. It seriously gives this game personality which was really lacking last couple games. Looking at you Tyler Morgan and your dogshit performance card system. And the handling can be fine tuned whether you're the next DK or Lewis Hamilton. The story is alright and the dialogue is kinda cringe. But the gameplay is very fun. Is $70 steep? Yes, but everything else is also going up in price. That's life. But for me, I'm happy with my purchase. Anything to bring back some of those nostalgic vibes I got back in the day.
So far, it feels very like NFS Heat 2.0 to me. But that's why Game Pass + EA Play was so great to have. It is very nice to give the game a try and while it is just 10 hours, I think is enough time to get those racing events mastered and have a feel for the new stuff in the game (which isn't that much, but still you see some differences here and there from Heat)
The game is great, but these are just a few things I’d like for them to bring back/add to multiplayer (and story) in the next update: - Drag races (Underground style) - Drift races (tandem/chase style) - In story mode (or online), have random CPU racers roaming the map, like in Underground 2, that do pull races you can initiate by driving up to them and honk your horn/flash your lights (like in Tokyo Xtreme Racer) - Have weekly tournaments for drift, circuit, sprint, AND drag (server champs keep moving to the next server) - Detailed tuning to cars (set turbo/v-tec at low/high rpm’s, spring softness) to see who can get the most out of their car’s setup and set themselves apart from the rest
Thanks for the video. I bought the game on sale last night for $47 for the palace edition in the Xbox store and I'm really looking forward to playing it this evening. 👍
For over a year I had no idea this game even existet. I haven't even seen it in stores on either Xbox or Playstation or PC. It was only today that I somehow bumped into a random gameplay video of it. Strange considering how big of a franchise NFS has been for many years.
It’s definitely the best of the newer NFS games. I would rank it above 2015, Payback, and Heat in terms of gameplay and customization. The story is debatable though
@@odoplaydead5012 story is very meh but not the worst. The rivalry is decent. I gotta say this game is pretty damn difficult with the crazy AI and all the buy ins and grinding but still very good
Thank yall for doing this, I really wanted this game cuz I'm getting burnt out on forza 5 so it's nice to get a trusted review of a game, especially at those prices
After years complaining abou modern NFS, this game actually made me like the series again, of course there are some issues, mainly physics related, sometimes when drifting the car just doesn't want to get straight again and starts doing some weird movement, also, lower level cars understeer so much, you need to be really slow and gentle to be able to take a corner without drifting or sliding away because your front tyres have no grip, it's a pretty weird mechanic since it's an arcade game, sometimes it makes me feel I'm playing some sort of simulator, also, something that really brakes the immersion for me, is the sound track, it feels so small and repetitive, the garage sound track is so good, but the open world and racing one don't match up, the songs are kind of out of place in my opinion, not that the song itself are bad, they just don't match the action, you are on a lvl 5 heat chase, with 2 helis, 15 cop cars, racing against the top tier cars, and it's playing "Kolo Kolo" as I said, the song is actually cool for some kind of meet or just cruising around, but not on the action, I really thought this game would have more drift phonk, since it's basically the only thing young car guys hear today, I've played the 10 hours test from EA play, and actually considered buying the game, but the price is too expensive in my country, but it's definitely in my steam wishlist for future sales
Never paid full price for a Need for Speed game and not going to now. They are definitely fun. I used to collect jewel case versions of the original games back in the mid-late 90’s. My biggest issue is the EA Launcher. If I could play EA games on Steam without it I would probably own more EA games. These last two NFS games look more interesting than we have seen in a while. First time in a very long time I have been interested in playing a NFS title again.
Honestly, the visuals alone make me see that they tried something different which is what the NFS community has been asking for. Since Heat and the so forgettable one before that (I honestly forget the name of it other than it had 3 protagonists and took place in Vegas). But this one has a personality to it. As long as the driving is good and the upgrade system isn’t trash I’ll give it a go. Reminds me of NFS 2015 when they tried a Underground atmosphere.
I'm liking this new approach the franchise has taken, they can focus on giving substance to a genre that's becoming more and more technical while also improve the performance with simpler character models. I'm definitely going to use those 10 hours that I got from Game Pass Ultimate to check it out.
@@--_--IMP--_-- there's a difference between saying "I don't like it because x" and "wtf are you talking about? It sucks", but if you don't get it, you don't get it.
I honestly think that it would do need for speed some good if they put in a little spice from the Burnout games. The problem of event variety would be almost totally eliminated if you had Stunt runs and Road rage. While the drift events and takeovers are fun, with a game that has the flashy art visuals like this one does, a stunt run would be the most awesome thing ever and you can build your car(s) for that purpose. Same thing goes for a road rage component, have events where you can just wreck other racers and cops and have a customization capability of making a tough brawler type vehicle. You can have that variety of play whilst having a more grounded realistic feel to it over the burnout games where it’s not as realistic. Especially Criterion having a prevalent hand in this game, they definitely could make that happen now or in the future. In my opinion, in the NFS Most Wanted remake in 2010 or whatever year around there, I loved that when cops chased you, you didn’t always feel like prey and worried your head off when a chase ensued fearing to lose everything you’ve been grinding for and it was super fun to be able to wreck the heck out of them, especially if you had the Ford Raptor suped up for that. That game just lacked in customization quite a bit. All in all, Unbound looks to be a decent game with fun to be had regardless.
No lol no one wants burnout in nfs we already have a burnout nfs called nfs mw 2012 and rivals what we need is more midnight club in NFS like lowriders bikes SUVs etc
I keep hearing people whine about the cartoon effects and I'm just here laughing about it. What do you want every racing game to look the same every year? This game tried something new and I praise EA for it, the effects look dope and I can't wait to get my hands on this game!
For those who are curious -
You can disable most of the effects
You can use grip and it's much better than drift when you tune it right
The races pay out more later (keep an eye on BIG MONEY events)
Cops get harder over the campaign
You need to do the side missions to unlock garages
You can buy pre-customized versions of cars after side quests
You need to upgrade the garage to unlock better parts.
Thank, you answered the question that was a dealbreaker for me up until now. I think these effects are ugly af but if you can turn them at least down I might give the game a shot when it’s on sale.

I’m really enjoying this new NFS game.
It seems (at least to me) to have pulled interesting gameplay mechanics from a few different mid-00s racing games and put them all together pretty seamlessly.
The ones I’ve noticed (so far) are:
- Slipstream/drift turbo and in-air car control from Midnight Club
- the driveaway crash mechanic from Burnout
- the calendar structure and betting mechanic from Juiced
- Gymkhana (Takeover) races from DiRT 3
- Racebreaker and having to drive to objectives from NFSU2
there’s probably a bunch more I’m missing, but regardless it’s the first NFS game in a while that I haven’t been able to put down.
Nice, good features not mentioned that more hardcore race fans will definitely recognize!

On intense you can retry only 2 times

I feel like the cartoony cell shading stuff is so they could add more detail to the cars and environment. They essentially reduce the detail on "non essential" stuff like character models and smoke, add in some fun stuff, and you can get a bit more traction out of the more important, potentially more taxing things.
Fair, but they used Mo Cap for the characters here same as they've been doing for years, only difference is a character texture filter..

What I wish they could add in the online mode is custom races like they did in Payback where you can race from point A to B and still earn cash.
Best? Are you high? Unbound doesnt even compare to Heat in almost every aspect.
@@FallenJustice The enjoyability and quality of the game is subjective. Their opinion and thoughts are valid. There's no need to say "are you high?" It doesn't bring anything constructive to a discussion.

Well, lucky for y’all, Gran Turismo still exists.
I remember staying up all night with my friends playing NFS Underground 2 trying to beat the drag races, one in particular took us all night to beat.

Yeah honestly the characters kind of jar with the environment and they should have just gone full on into the cartoonish artstyle.
That style is pretty dope I like this. I actually am a fan of Nfs since day one. Skipped a few but this one here looks AMAZING.
👍🏼

I dont think the car thing is that much of an issue past the first qualifier. I bought a new car after every qualifier and had enough money to fully upgrade them to top of their class by midway through the week.

Yes, but everything else is also going up in price. That's life. But for me, I'm happy with my purchase. Anything to bring back some of those nostalgic vibes I got back in the day.

agree on the price, i felt like i personally got my moneys wrth but fuck if i knew it would go on sale not evena month later lmaooo
Got the deluxe edition of the game for like $45 during Xmas sale. Totally worth it
So far, it feels very like NFS Heat 2.0 to me. But that's why Game Pass + EA Play was so great to have. It is very nice to give the game a try and while it is just 10 hours, I think is enough time to get those racing events mastered and have a feel for the new stuff in the game (which isn't that much, but still you see some differences here and there from Heat)

The game is great, but these are just a few things I’d like for them to bring back/add to multiplayer (and story) in the next update:
- Drag races (Underground style)
- Drift races (tandem/chase style)
- In story mode (or online), have random CPU racers roaming the map, like in Underground 2, that do pull races you can initiate by driving up to them and honk your horn/flash your lights (like in Tokyo Xtreme Racer)
- Have weekly tournaments for drift, circuit, sprint, AND drag (server champs keep moving to the next server)
- Detailed tuning to cars (set turbo/v-tec at low/high rpm’s, spring softness) to see who can get the most out of their car’s setup and set themselves apart from the rest

Thanks for the video. I bought the game on sale last night for $47 for the palace edition in the Xbox store and I'm really looking forward to playing it this evening. 👍
The updated aesthetic is a good change of pace. I hope EA keeps implementing surface level changes like this to differentiate entries
For over a year I had no idea this game even existet. I haven't even seen it in stores on either Xbox or Playstation or PC. It was only today that I somehow bumped into a random gameplay video of it. Strange considering how big of a franchise NFS has been for many years.
Been playing for a few hours. This game is awesome. So far one of the better NFS games and the style has grown on me a lot.
It’s definitely the best of the newer NFS games. I would rank it above 2015, Payback, and Heat in terms of gameplay and customization. The story is debatable though
@@odoplaydead5012 story is very meh but not the worst. The rivalry is decent. I gotta say this game is pretty damn difficult with the crazy AI and all the buy ins and grinding but still very good
Played a bit at a buddies house and I like the direction they went with this one. I got it on my wish list after I'm done with my current rotation.

Thank yall for doing this, I really wanted this game cuz I'm getting burnt out on forza 5 so it's nice to get a trusted review of a game, especially at those prices
Nah yea the cops in this game are the hardest I've ever had to deal with 💀
After years complaining abou modern NFS, this game actually made me like the series again, of course there are some issues, mainly physics related, sometimes when drifting the car just doesn't want to get straight again and starts doing some weird movement, also, lower level cars understeer so much, you need to be really slow and gentle to be able to take a corner without drifting or sliding away because your front tyres have no grip, it's a pretty weird mechanic since it's an arcade game, sometimes it makes me feel I'm playing some sort of simulator, also, something that really brakes the immersion for me, is the sound track, it feels so small and repetitive, the garage sound track is so good, but the open world and racing one don't match up, the songs are kind of out of place in my opinion, not that the song itself are bad, they just don't match the action, you are on a lvl 5 heat chase, with 2 helis, 15 cop cars, racing against the top tier cars, and it's playing "Kolo Kolo" as I said, the song is actually cool for some kind of meet or just cruising around, but not on the action, I really thought this game would have more drift phonk, since it's basically the only thing young car guys hear today, I've played the 10 hours test from EA play, and actually considered buying the game, but the price is too expensive in my country, but it's definitely in my steam wishlist for future sales
Soundtrack is so underrated in racing games too. It’s what made underground series and midnight club 3 so awesome

I played the demo.......your better off with Heat
we did not ask for this fym
I'm liking this new approach the franchise has taken, they can focus on giving substance to a genre that's becoming more and more technical while also improve the performance with simpler character models. I'm definitely going to use those 10 hours that I got from Game Pass Ultimate to check it out.
Bro as someone who has been with this franchise since nfs 2, I think this is the best this series has been since 2011.
This is the NFS we’ve been asking for a while it’s a lot of fun the style is refreshing I’m a few hours in and have been enjoying it

NFS UNBOUND Is the best NfS to date and all of the effects are cool AsF!!
I love this game. I play nfs as a sort of palate cleanser game and this one does not disappoint

I keep hearing people whine about the cartoon effects and I'm just here laughing about it. What do you want every racing game to look the same every year? This game tried something new and I praise EA for it, the effects look dope and I can't wait to get my hands on this game!
Absolutely love the art style
