Buckshot on Cleaning Sean Price's Dead Body According to Muslim Tradition

- The Death of Sean Price in 2015 shocked thousands in the Hip Hop realm including members of the Boot Camp Click. Dring a sit-down with Buckshot, he reminisced the moment he discovered Price's death. "I was supposed to go to Canada for a show and [sic] had called my phone and it was like 8 in the morning and said 'Yo, this n***a Ruck died.'" He told DJ Vlad that he was in disbelief and headed to Prince's home where he witnessed his friend's body still in his bed. "His leg is shaped like a P, like he in a P position. I look in his eyes; I had to close my man's mouth, I had to close my man's eyes."
Respecting the late rapper's Islamic background, he proceeded to perform a funeral ritual also known in Arabic as a Janazah. "I had to actually clean his body, me, Steele and Tek. I give respect, and that was harsh. You know what I'm saying? To clean your man and your like 'Yo, I'm cleaning my man, and he's gone.'"

The Janazah is a serious moment when you’re looking down at the deceased. It’s crazy heavy, may God have mercy on his soul.
I recently had to do the same thing may Allah have mercy on hom
I had to wash my little brothers body. It was the most honorable/heartbreaking experience in my entire life man
respect
I'm sorry you had to go through that, homie. Bless you.
سبحان الله
+TheSushiraw It's respect, honor and Sunnah... I guess that makes no sense to you.
I lost a sister , she died on her 9yr old sons birthday early in the morning about 2 weeks ago.
That same night we had to celebrate life and mourn the dead by singing happy birthday.
All my nephew wanted was to see his mother one more time as a wish. -Life challenges
That fucked me up crazy when Buck explained how and why he cleaned his brother in death. Can't front. I'm right here on a public bus and started crying. That's how deep these brothers were. Don't EVER say anything fucked up about Duck Down.
Word
May allah have mercy on his soul
Sean Price was one hell of a lyricist. He was the genuine article. His music will live on forever.
Mikki Farmer U NEVER HEARD OF HIM. U PALE TROLL!
Dudes a legend ❤
vlad is bugging ,Sean Price was a beast from the start. He ripped Leflah
Vlad is a clown, let him tell it, rephrase, well actually it, and he will say he was in the studio during every classic hip hop album, yet come out the side of his mouth with young thug has a really good album. He is at the top of the Culture Vulture list.
Trinidad Onassis Real shit!
+Trinidad Onassis nothing you could do about it
I control the masses
with metaphor that's massive
don't ask if
the nigga ruck'll bash it
like Cassius.
that right there inspired me to start writing
@roy hunt no disagreement Heltah Skeltah was ill though. Both emcees had quotable verses
Sean price was the hood dad rapper ... Legend forreal
That is a beautiful admixture...being a "hood dad", a "rapper" and a "legend"...all in one!
Wow!!
5@@YAHKHOV j
Unfortunately, I had just started listening after he passed..GORILLA FLOW...💯❤️
@@YAHKHOV I second that! 👊🏾
Yo Vlad, the album was called Nocturnal. The group was Heltah Skeltah (Ruck & Rock). They were family with of BCC and staff. Fab 5 was them and OGC. Smiff&Wesson and Black Moon were family too...
THANK YOU! It was nails on the chalkboard.
Yeah I know. It was urking me too b/c these guys are legends. Sad part is, this new generation will never know b/c mumble rap has flooded the radio. Everyone keep screaming real hip hop needs to come back, but ain't nobody investing the $$ to buy albums so these guys can eat. Kendrick Lamar can't do this by himself. We need more MC'S w/ tough producers. Less gimmicks and more culture.
Absolutely. I'm glad you addressed it. Vlad showed his true colors on that one. He's a rap fan, not a Hip-Hop fan.
I'm shocked his staff did not address it before he put this video out. Also, I'd think Vlad would do his homework before an interview. Especially in the presence of a Legend.
+Moses Small You're exactly right. An interviewer is supposed to do his homework, even in Hip-Hop. Probably especially Hip-Hop. I Vlad total perspective as an interviewer as he sat there with Buck, who made us again feel the love we always had for Sean P from the beginning.
Sean Price had the hardest song on Grand Theft Auto III.
"Watch Rosewood, go outside, & smack a KraKKer! Yo"
That song was cold.
couldnt do a mission without turning it to that song on the radio
Remingtons winchesters any shotty i hit it
Young Carter Locc Hard Cuzz.
Rising to the top
The way he describes how it was when he was with Rucks dead body reminds me of what I went through with my pops. RIP, hold your head up Buckshot!
I went to Junior High with Buck in the ville and he was and still is a real dude.......People don't know this dude was a martial artist from young.....probably an unknown fact of him
Goddamn forreal? All that shit talk on records about smacking cats was real? I mean I felt it was real but I ain't know lol
I belive it yo 🌞 used to look like sho nuff back n the day too i miss P dont knw em but folloewd bootcamp since i was 13 feel like i did !!!
Nocturnal? Heltah Skeltah, son. I remember going to a Raekwon/Smif-N-Wessun show in 2011, Tek was holding up Sean's daughter when she was a baby. You could tell they were more than just a record label. It was like a family.
Tone Riggz,
I figured I'd roll through the comments and if I didn't see your post within the first 10 posts then I'd have to have ask Vlad wtf were you talking about...whos Nocturnal? I know it was arguably and so so so underrated best albums of all time. Obviously, Vlad already knows by now Ruck was one half of Heltah Skelta. But yea, when that album dropped to me there wasn't anything better out there. That album just resonated with me and still does.
you can tell buck was uncomfortable and crying but was trying to wipe his tears on the low. i understand exactly what he means about it "not registering" even after having to close his man's eyes and mouth then pray next to his body. it took me a minute to accept that shit so i get why buck is still struggling a year later.
Sean was a serious MC with a sense of humor RIP Sean Price P!
California dudes got mad love for ruck and the boot camp clik 1luv
Of course. They were one of the only groups that got mad love from anywhere in the world. They weren't involved in the East coast vs West coast wars.
R.I.P. sean P!
his t shirt is amazing
Sean Price's passing made ME cry, and I never met dude. Fool was absolutely and inspiration. I can't even begin to imagine what it was like for those that knew him.

Sean price pass away then buckshot homeboys son was born thats deep
That happened to me. My best friend called me to tell me his daughter was born and I had to tell him a friend of ours just wrecked his motorcycle and died.
It always happen like that.
Boot Camp all my life. Incredible to see my super heroes as humans. I've met Sean P. backstage after opening for him & Juxx while up here with iLL BiLL. Coolest man ever, respectful of his fans, respectful of his craft & status... Spat his shit like on Cds. Smoked with him, laughed with him, took pictures with him. HE EVEN WENT SHIRTLESS FLEXING HIS MUSCLES LIKE IN "KING KONG" while me & my partner are hanging from his bicep! Cause P wasn't just a man, he was a MOUNTAIN of a man. I feel like you BDi, still doesn't compute, it just don't. "First name Sean, last name ..."
...then 2000 crazy fans go : "PRICE"
Yup, "You can say what you want just spell his name right"
Montréal, Canada
Damn, that's wassup. I still cant com to terms with his death. He was too frikkin dope, too frikkin hilarious, and meant so much to his peoples and to hip hop, etc. I still get so upset when I think about it. But he lives foreva. He is a FORCE. RUCK FO LIFE.
SEAN P FOREVA.
@ 11:00 Buck starts to feel it and tries to hide the tears building up in his eyes. Dag this was so sad😔
Out of all the rappers we lost, including Big, Pac, Big L, and Pun, the deaths that affected me most and literally made me cry was Ruck’s. And I used to live in the BX and I repped the Boogie Down and Pun to the fullest. But cause I was a fan since ‘96 and ever since, Sun’s death hit me hard. I was writing for a well known Hip-Hop blog back in 2015 and I remember getting the email from his publicist about his passing and I didn’t wanna believe it, like nah, this can’t be life! Life is strange. I’m a veteran and a skydiver; I’ve lost friends to combat and to the sport. I’m so desensitized to death, but P’s presence made a big impact on my life and the culture, and ultimately, my soul when that brother physically departed us.
Rest In Peace to the God 7!
I still got said email and I can’t bring myself to delete it
Im therapist and I'd just like to say to you this , I believe you have the ability to compartmentalize death due to your back ground, there's only a few people in the world that sky dive ,test pilot etc that have low levels of fear ,however Ruck brought out a part of you that was suspended because it would of hindered you , The deep emotional connection we have with artists nearly equals that of a family member ,in bereavement therapy we say the deeper the emotional connection the deeper the grief ,so your out pouring of emotion and initial shock ws the first stage of bereavement, this may have a deeper meaning too ,it may be that you are back fully functional in regards to grief and in rucks passing your able to release your feelings and rengage coping mechanisms..peace .N RIP Ruck
'he was in the group nocturnal?' the fuck? Vlad is literally clueless about these things. heltah skeltah's nocturnal album is still 1 of my favs. that enta da stage, da shinin, da storm. classics. and what he on about rucks verses on nocturnal are some of his best.
Was in the group nocturnal....SMDH VLAD, STEP YA KNOWLEDGE UP...
+PATHH88 Vlad is suspect
Nocturnal is one of my favorite albums.
Right
Straight up.
Sean Price Forever The Legend had a medical condition known as Sleep Apnea May Peace and Blessings be upon Brownsville Finest
Sean Price and Buck were both students of Dr Malachi Z York...just like Prodigy
As well as ghostface
@Benjamin T listen to their songs
"He was in the group, Nocturnal..." Damn it, Vlad.
Damn, real emotional interview, buckshot a true dude by heart
I'm standing outside waiting for a cab, JFK airport October 2014. My boy goes "yo ain't that sean p across the road?" "Oh shit word that is sean P" me and him both start yellin P like he be doing on his raps. Man turns around and comes across to us ask us for a newport. Telling us he just got back from Germany bout to go play 2k kick his kids around haha took a pic with us, was the nicest ever even after a long flight..I go to that moment every time I hear him rap.
Man though it sounds sad, there are certain beauty to this story. The love and faithfulness of two friends. It is a true friend that can send you off to your maker with that much love and care. Plus he uses his life as an example which makes him a friend of man.
rest easy akhi see you on the other side in shaa Allah
that Duck Down shirt is dope.
I remember Sean Price from GTA III on the radio
ye game radio lol
hell yea #KLASSIK
Facts💯
Jesus Price Supastar is an incredible album
One of the original dope rappers of the 90's. Such a good lyricist and with a cool ass flow.
Ah man, I feel for Buck, he was so uncomfortable when Vlad talked about Rucks body and shit. You could visibly see the mood shift and he just looks so sad and misses his friend so much.
R.I.P. Ruck! Heltah Skeltah was the shit
One of the most prominent people of Hip Hop, get your shit right VLad.
To God we belong, to God we return. Its hard losing someone u care about especially when u do the Janaza.
Dope interview
😞 This was painful to watch...the God passed on my niece born last year. Hearing the hurt and pain in Buck voice has me choked up. I know the Almighty wanted one of his children home, but the selfish part of me wish the God was still here. S.I.P RuckDown.#Sean Lives On!
May Allah guide us all on the right path and grant us success in this life and the hereafter. Save us from the punishment of the grave and fires of hell. Peace and love to all
Yea wen Ruck came Bak n 04' It wuz a wrap...He Brought Bak Duckdown 2 ah whole another Level
Yea! But I believe that Triple Threat Campaign back in 05' with him, Buckshot and Smif N Wessun did a lot of justice
LENOVOPRODUCER Definitely it was! The lyrics was just out of this world
I really felt that just listening to Buck sighs...hurt me still we lost Sean #2020 #Bahng 🙏🔥
I get chills thinking about how I used to recite his lyrics to Gunz n Onez. Been a fan since the 90s
Heltah Skeltah not Nocturnal, thats the first album
I caught that too
The name of Heltah Skeltah's first album is Nocturnal.
andersenkalle dahhhhhh we know
And on top of that he said Ruck didn't stand out at first. What? Niggas been knew Ruck was dope since the 1st album.
+RDoubt96 I think he moronically meant rocks
Sean Price one of the most slept-on and underrated MCS to ever do it not only was he super lyrical but he was a cool down to Earth dude met him when he came to Rochester when I introduced myself to him he thought I was a nigga he committed a crime with back in the day lol ask me if I could give him some of my fam CDs he was like yeah and I will listen to him later on at the show niggas out of me I'll put it at me in the crowd showed respect and all that and I'm just a regular nigga a fan but he treated me like I was one of his homeboys that's the real deal one of the greats in my book
I always remembered RUCK vlad. His raps were crazy. Ive had and still have the privilege of hearing his young and OG rhymes. FARKIN BEAST! #riP!
I just had to do this for my 18 year son in January. Very spiritual. Very real.
1love
Still can't belive he gone
You ain't the only one
"Flava and Rakim is both my cousins, yo"
Sean Price was a great humble human being, on some enlightened status, amazing to hear Buckshot (another legend) talk about him...
If I ever was to become a MC, the whole Duck Down squad is the blueprint to how I want to do it.
some say sean price is nicest on mic devices...
shout out to buck...the formula will always be in my top 10
people be sleep walking banging album classic

I literally purchased Mic Tyson a month before he past away. Very unfortunate because it seemed like I didn't get a chance to celebrate him when he was still living.
RIP Sean Price....He was real, down to earth and never switched up! Buckshot is a genuine brother!
May allah have mercy on his soul
I miss Sean Price!!!
I miss Sean Price!!!
Vlad seen the man was breaking down talking about his friend but he continued to talk about the dead body
They do this in the news too; media. It is said that vampires/parasites have no conscience.
+Wandah Wisdom Amen.
Vultures do that.
Man, I just replied on this interview based on 1) Buckshot being "out of his mind" discussing Sean Price's passing, and 2) VLAD even uploading the video...ain't nobody safe from the Hip-Hop Cops or THOTS no more man...
Fuck Vlad, for real
Precciate this upload!
“My pop did Tango-N-Cash just once and he died”

🙏🏾👑💯👊🏾
Bullshit...I remember almost all of Ruck lyrics. That nigga was always better than Rock, voice or not. Ruck is a dope ass MC. Forever.
Hell yes! I was thinking the same thing. I got all of Ruck's lyrics from Nocturnal memorized, he was always my favorite from BCC.
you speak 100% facts
Listened to him chat that shit and thought the same thing.....he must know nothing of that Nocturnal album. Sean P was the badder of the 2 period!
+tayo adelaja agree, Sean won the battle on "place to be".....
baythagod Maan don't get me started on that track....."I feel you can't step to Sean, wigging out on bitch ass niggas since decepticons".....
why do they keep dancing around how this man died
Why do you think?
+eLEVATEDHAIRBYTIFF I don't know that's why I'm asking
+eLEVATEDHAIRBYTIFF ok so are you going to tell me?
It's the same with Pumpkinhead that died same time still haven't found out the real reason
sleep apnea
I bought a ticket for that show Buck was supposed to do in Canada (Hamilton, Ontario). Lord Finesse was the other headliner. Though we all heard the news, the punk-ass promoter didn't want to officially say that Buckshot wasn't going to be there. The other crazy thing is: a couple days before his passing, he was scheduled to perform at a Pumpkinhead Tribute Show.
RIP Mic Tyson aka Sean Price. Definitely a lyrical beast gone but never forgotten.
This is the BCC... That was my shit
This is one of the heaviest most breathtaking Vlad interviews that exist. Just imagine doing that to a loved one, family member, or friend. The Janazah is one of the most intimate experiences you will ever get to have in life
buck is one of the most underrated mcs of all time..he one of my top 5 mcs of all time..i remember when i gotch open first droped....than a few months later how many mcs..he killed that beat!!! that first verse str8 🔥 🔥 🔥 🔥
I wish u woulda heard more of Sean P while he was living , I've been a big fan of hip hop since I was like 10 but didn't really get to know Sean P
Till 5 - 10 years ago
Black moon was one of the hottest crews in hip hop!!!
BCC as a whole
Amen BCC is the whole package! I believe BCC is better than Wu Tang! Because they stuck together on brotherhood shit and never let the greed or fame turn on each other
***** ooh, I don't know about that??? To me, that's like comparing Jordan to Dominique, or Lebron to Kobe!!! I can't call that one.I fucks with both.
Gene Williams You are right, that entire crew was that real New York hip hop!!!
+MADNEW YORKER To me I like Wu Tang as well. But they all ain't grew up together! A lot of BCC members knew each other from childhood it's deeper than rap! Their chemistry was way better than Wu Tang! Both of are equally matched up
tomorrow is the anniversary of the death of the one the greatest r.i.P!
can't believe he's been gone for a year already
Actually he passed away on the 8th it passed
+David osorio jr he didnt even say who. Shitface
+Zayy Rugga ah yes because a video about Sean price's death and even capitalizing the P in rip is clearly open game for ANY rapper who died in the middle of August, you fucking joke
+David osorio jr why I thought it was the 15 idk you right bro still my statement remains r.i.P!
Lockdown one of my favorite hip Hop songs of all-time
how do u keep asking questions when u see a person breaking down....?
Leave it to vlad to exploit someone's death for views. Rip P! One of the best that ever did it.
Nice shirt.
great interview vlad keep the realness coming salute buckshot did great
The moment Buck leaned back on the seat and started wiping off his eyes. He really meant what he said about not dealing with his friends death. He need help.
A wop baba loo bop wop bam boom the glock got a few shots you pop drop oooh!!!!
fire!!!!
group nocturnal?
real shit, Duck Down Presents and the Nocturnal LP was the reason i picked up a pen duke. BCC was always on some real hip hop shit. Love dem dudes man.....
sean caught my attention and i didnt know he was with the group damn he nice i miss him .nwk
i understand its hard ... but also u must take care of your body .. like taking drugs ( new generation) won't last and having all these medical issues cuz they flying almost 2-3 times a week drinking smoking " Sniffing " drinking lean , taking pills and working ... thats take a huge toll .. u have to see ppl like kevin hart who travels worldwide and exercises and eat right and not doing all these crazy drugs ..cuz he know thats the business it will take a toll on u .. RIP SEAN PRICE BK FINEST
+CanvassBlack FACTS
facts he was one lucky man ...im not saying being healthy will prevent a heart attack .. but it help prevent a higher percentage of not getting one, and yes resse he talked about sniffing coke .. exactly so if he not t taking care of himself .. then shit happens
You can't outrun death, I mean it's still go to live a healthy lifestyle but when it's time to go it's time to go. My grandfather is an alcoholic, he's been drinking since he was 14 and he's 70 now. I knew many who were in their 30's and " healthy" that aren't here anymore.
badmuthasuka Indeed.
