No shit huh....fully cus you know his character was more cooler and true to life....in how high video method man is walking around breaking dude's guitar in shit....I play guitar....n if some big brother came up on me n smashed my guitar for no reason.... I'd go get my other n smash on him....just saying ....Redman was more cooler
Vlad....this was epic. Lol, Redman didn't even need you steering the interview, he was telling stories on his own accord for days. ha ha...I can't wait for more.
Vlad, can u get interviews with Slick Rick, Biz Markie, Lee from Beat Street, Turbo & Ozone from Breakin, Ny Oil, Breeze from LA Posse, Special Ed, Chino XL, Fu-Schnikens.
Omg That might be the best interview ever, I love people who are successful and can make you feel what he felt just telling the story. He will always be relevant like krs-one.
Everyone knows Redman is amazing. What I like most about this video is how excited and happy he is when he's telling his story. That's true passion and love for his craft. Reason why he's always one of the best.
Redman is one of the most unfairly underrated and unappreciated lyricists of his era or ANY era! His blend of humor, creativity and technical skill is STILL hard to match years later. Absolute lyrical BEAST!!!...
Damn, Redman getting caught with all his drugs on the floor feels like such a womp moment. Like Sonic getting his rings smacked outta him. Great story.
Thugga Jackson That can't be... I agree redman is one of the illest mc's ever. Very consistent in the quality of his flows too. He's just as lethal as in 1992. "Time for some action" was a mayor banger. You now that joint?
Yeah there is no way he could tell or remember that EPMD story with any detail. He was high then and high now so that is not a good recipe for recalling facts. He just gave up at the end....too funny.
They are underated to everyone. I never hear Redman and Scarface in Top 10 Lists. They not Top 5 but they are at least as good as 2 Pac and Biggie and I always see them on Top 5 lists.
Good good story. Red will always be that dude. Amazing how everything fell into place for him tryna get on. He reps Jersey to the fullest and always makes us feel proud and can still rock a party to this day. Good shit Vlad!
***** I'm white as a fuckin wall, I just don't think eminem is the "best" when we got west coast and east coast legends in hip hop. Let the naive little bitches and schoolgirls like u worship him. peace
Redman is a VERY underrated emcee. In fact, he is one of the most underrated emcees of all time. Redman along with DMX were some of the first rappers i started listening too as a 12/13 year old. Now i was born and raised in the South(Atlanta specifically) and liked Redman because at the time in the late 90s/early 2000s, i had never heard an emcee a talented as Redman from the South. Redman was one of those rare emcees that could be both introspective/deep and humorous/goofy at the same time. I hope he gets the respect he deserves one day.
yoo that was a incredble story. honestly that 20+ mins felt like 13 tops and he really made me feel like i was there. the enthusiasm added 4 great humor and overall greatness of the story.
Love when brothas dreams come true and they so enthusiastic in telling how they came up and how much divinity they felt was responsible for their success. Red a legend, hope he tells how he and Meth met.
Red always been one of my favorite artist. he dont role with security and all that, but always keeped it as real as it could get. he truly is loved by all in the game. he is one of the last real hiphoppers out there, no doubt about that
I never get tired of Redman talking. He always has good stories and is animated. I could watch him all day with some popcorn.
Word!
No shit huh....fully cus you know his character was more cooler and true to life....in how high video method man is walking around breaking dude's guitar in shit....I play guitar....n if some big brother came up on me n smashed my guitar for no reason....
