Make a Belt sander @Washing machine motor 【Part.1】

  • Hello Friends!
    I used a broken washing machine motor to make a belt sander.
    【Part.2】
    • Make a Belt sander @Wa...
    The plan is here
    jisaku-koubou.com/downloads/1...
    【Plan List】
    jsk-koubou.stores.jp/
    The washing machine motor consumes 300W.
    I want a little more power, but there is no problem in practical use.
    The drawback is that continuous operation can not be performed.
    The cooling was strengthened, but the motor temperature exceeds 90 ° C in about 8 minutes.
    (The motor temperature will reach 120 ° C in about 10 minutes.)
    I attached a temperature sensor to the motor and decided to use it while monitoring the temperature.
    ※ When imitating this video, please at your own risk.
    I can not guarantee any damage caused by this video.

    I'm soooo thankfull for your work and the fact that you share it. Your passion for precission, and detail is just amazing. And besides all of the craftmanship, and high educational value, I'm SO GLAD, that you have decided to upload the material with only the natural sound effects. It's way more effective in terms of passing the knowledge on, and so... relaxing. Just the silence and sounds of work. Brave sincerity in today's noisy youtube world.

    This genius craftsman has elevated his work to the level of art. Watching him work is like seeing an athlete or musician perform at the highest levels. There is no better choreographed and platonic videos anywhere at this level of artistry hands down. The gentle approach and his mastery makes all materials obey his wishes whatever they may be, wood, metal, plastics or electrical. He rules all of the basic materials and his precise technique makes watching his videos practically a soothing therapy in a rushed and often chaotic world. Total awe and respect for JSK-koubou.

    I have never thought of using the soldering iron on the heat shrink tubing. I have always used a lighter. Cheers for the great tip.

    • @zanpekosak2383
      @zanpekosak2383 4 года назад +2

      Just be carefull as some soldering irons tend to melt and destroy the heat shrink. Personally I like a gas powered one as you can remove the tip and have just the hot air blowing on the shrink.

    • @LEO-xo9cz
      @LEO-xo9cz 4 года назад

      I hate doing it. Will only do with junk irons.

    • @serkandemirhanofficial
      @serkandemirhanofficial 4 года назад +1

      I'm using the iron too but you have to shrink it fast. And use middle of the iron not the tip. Otherwise the shrink gets ruined.

    • @LEO-xo9cz
      @LEO-xo9cz 4 года назад

      @@serkandemirhanofficial My problem with using the iron is polluting the tip.

    Nice build and great construction quality! I would have used the fan with a small 12V supply to force much more air into the sander housing, instead of attaching it to the motor axle, where it cannot be as effective. Also, the radiator you glued to the motor housing probably cannot do much - large thermal resistance between the aluminium fins and the motor housing - you cool the aluminium but not the motor. Anyway, I'm very curious to see the belt sander part attached
