Usually I am not a big fan of the random harsh edits added to videos, but the editing during the SLC section had me laughing so hard. Those added clips accurately describe what its like to ride a Vekoma

Arkansas Twister was originally located at Florida’s defunct amusement park called Boardwalk and Baseball as Florida Hurricane. After park closed in early 1990 and they moved to Magic Springs.
They moved a lot of shitty rides from Boardwalk and Baseball to shitty parks. The Ferris Wheel ended up in Lagoon in Farmington Utah. Quite poetic really.
I was there before Boardwalk and Baseball, when the park was owned by Ringling - Barnum and Bailey with a circus theme. They had a large number of circus acts, a general circus museum, one dedicated to Jumbo with a fake reproduction, that elephant was huge, and another dedicated to a gorilla whose name I forget. They had a giant shuttle looper, you rode to the station in an elevator, and were putting the finishing touches on a wooden coaster.

Lmao... it's so funny and fascinating to hear people talk about my hometown. I grew up in this town my entire life (I'm 31 now). Magic Springs has TONS of potential and they definitely need more thrill rides/coasters. This park, believe it or not, was EXTREMELY popular in the 2000s
Theres one problem, Arkansas is a small state, and it would take alot of money to build more thrills, but i do kind of agree, this park does need some more rides, but i think their not gonna do that, since theres not alot of space.

And also, compare arkansas to most states in the U.S, pretty small, and also, Arkansas is ranked 29th biggest state in the U.S. (sorry if i seem like a nerd or if it seems like im complaining im only trying to show that arkansas isn't that big)

Not that it is a thrill ride, it just a very fun family coaster

To be honest, I love this park. My home park is Silver Dollar City, and I love shooting down to Magic Springs. I love their SLC and Sky Loop. I just wish they had some more flat rides. Maybe one other really good coaster.

No way, I was just there two days ago for the first time. Thankfully in the off season when the water park isn't operating the ticket price was only $30, which is much more reasonable than $60 (which is insanely overpriced, to say the least).

I know I'm a little late but seriously, "Colorado Adventure - The Michael Jackson Thrillride" is one of my favourite rollercoasters, and not just for reasons of nostalgia. It may not look like much but it's pretty awesome for a mine train! Waiting time is usually 15 minutes max. The theming is also quite neat, although it used to be better, but they had to cover parts of the track to "reduce noise". Phantasialand is notorious for its oversensitive neighbours, who both prevent park expansion (it's totally crammed and basically all of the attractions that existed in the 90s had to be torn down to make space for new ones) and even forced the park to tear down its oldest original attractions, namely unique historic animatronic puppet theatres from the 60s. Why someone who hates theme parks or the sound of laughing children or whatever would move right next to one is beyond me.
Anyhow, Phantasialand is a great park with awesome theming and some of the best rollercoasters in Germany, including Taron (the world's fastest multiple launch coaster, running through a medieval/fantasy village) and F.L.Y. (world's fastest flying coaster and first multiple launch flying coaster, steam punk themed). I haven't experienced F.L.Y. yet because of CoVid, but it surely looks awesome and if anyone reading this should ever be in post-pandemic Germany, Phantasialand is absolutely worth a visit! Apart from its size (again: stupid Nimbys...), in my opinion it is right up there with Europapark!
Also... FOUR MINUTES TO LOAD ONE TRAIN?! wtf 😂😂😂
Although after two coaster-free years it doesn't quite seem like that long of a waiting time...

Arkansas resident here, I've been to magic springs about 2 dozen times in my life:
You are not wrong about the coasters being kinda boring! I hate the twister, big bad john is like a cute little family ride but a total snoozer as far as coasters go, the gauntlet feels good to ride but they didn't even attempt to make it look nice, and I have no complaints about the x coaster, that thing is just insanely fun to ride.
You're also not wrong about crystal falls being the objectively superior half of the park. The water slides go hard, the lazy river is nice and unironically scenic, the wave pool is about as fun as any wave pool can be, the boogie board wave machine is fun as hell, the whole water side of the park is just baller.
What I like most about the park is how nice it looks, and I'm glad you guys mentioned that in the video - I'm clearly biased but I do think it's a really beautiful park, especially the kinda "food court" area and everything around the lake.
I still think Six Flags should’ve bought this park.

I’ve never felt such shere terror and dread as I did when I was preparing to ride my first SLC. Luckily I knew what to expect and rode in the front row and braced myself so it was bearable. This park needs some love.

I love this theme park... not these crazy nerds being whinny,... you get to see great concerts all summer and awesome haunted houses at Halloween and awesome rides and a great place for kids... don't need anyone putting our state down.... This Is A Tourist Destination ... Bath Houses, Horse Racing Etc...

What is the possibility of hanging out with you and your crew some day? Seriously! Our home park is KI but we travel to parks frequently. Do you do meet ups? I know it sounds cliche maybe even awkward but I don’t know how to term it otherwise. You definitely know how to enjoy parks and I would love to have the opportunity to enjoy one with you some day. Just sayn.

Fun fact about Gaunlet: It was originally built for Jazzland during its construction, however the sale never went through and Magic Springs ended up purchasing it in 2003.
If Magic Springs never bought it. It's likely it would've ended up with the other abandoned attractions at Six Flags New Orleans.

Big Bad John is relocated from Dollywood not Six Flags Over Texas. It was called Thunder Express at Dollywood. I remember those trains vividly.

Went to this park MANY summers growing up. I feel like most of us cared more about the water park once it opened than the amusement park. Also, if the X Coaster doesn't have a "problematic roller coaster" video, it should because that thing broke down more than it was up and running.

Where I live in Arkansas, I’m 2hrs from MS and 3hrs from SDC. I could see taking a family day to MS or on a weekend to Hot Springs making a day of it, but I would plan a week in Branson and spend 2-3 days at SDC.

As a resident of Arkansas who regularly visits magic springs, I can definitely confirm the water park is 10x better than the coaster side. Still sucks though 😂

Abismo at Parque de Attractionnes is even better than this Skyloop model from Maurer Rides. Longer layout and I've heard it's much better than the other models :D

As a native Arkansan I can attest to how horrible Magic Springs is now. Needs upgrades and cleaning. Well, employees in general. Went once in five years on a Sunday which is when you can bring your own cooler.
My mom bought season passes and they are 70 bucks, so it's cheaper that way. But you can go from when it opens sometime in the spring to November with one season pass.

I went to magic springs in Arkansas a few moths back, and i went on the X-coaster, which my sisters whole seat safety covers over your shoulders flew straight up and she almost fell out. It was crazy, looking foward to it working again this summer so i can try to ride it again!!

I actually like X Coaster. I thought that Arkansas Twister was average, but better than Mean Streak (nowhere near as rough). I totally agree than Magic Springs is way too expensive. This place is pretty hilly, but has nicely placed mister fan cool zones throughout.
