Option #2- if you keep it hard-frozen for 30 days, it also will also mitigate trichinosis so that gives you some wiggle room to cook it to a lower temp.

We had hogs and Helotes Texas and Del Rio Texas. Yes they do stink. But the meat does taste good if you season it right. It doesn't exactly taste like ham. Has a different taste to it. My friend Alex and I hunt them. There's so many of them in Texas. I haven't seen your shows lately. But please send me more of your hunting experiences. Take care.

Golf is kinda similar to hunting if you think about it... It's quiet and peaceful, challenging, no two golf courses are the same, and YOU are the only one that can make the shot. My father and I have a tradition every Christmas Day the golf courses are closed so we can walk right on and play 18 for free. We usually have the whole course to ourselves with the exception of a few die hards.. We also happen to go hunting together.😆✌⛳

Is wild Boar hog edible? My Florida friends wont shoot one, period. We Italian Yankees, if thats actually a thing, drop all wild hogs in a pressure cooker with seasoning for about an hour give or take depending on amount and meat thickness. I bet everything i own, with anyone, to deft the meat doesn’t come completely “ boar hog rank” FREE. Falls off the bone, and on e you get good @ using the pressure cooker, can finish the last couple minutes in a smoker, BBQ grill or whatever. Skim the fat out of the pot and use as cooking grease too. Been eating Florida boar since 1983 down here this way.
