Thanks 👍. I really wanted to cut down on the heat that the headliner gets during the summer so that I can hopefully avoid another droopy headliner situation 😁.
I have been waiting on this video! Your headliner looks great, about how long did it take you to do your headliner and did you have to take out your front seats?
The headliner was a weekend project. On a Friday night, I took out the headliner. On Saturday, I stripped / cleaned & prepped / installed the materials (and then let it "cure" overnight). On Sunday, I added the thermal barrier foam to the roof and installed the headliner back into the vehicle. I took out both front seats, and all of the rear seat head rests, in order to give me as much space as possible and guide the headliner out of the driver rear door. It was a lot of work, but I am happy with the results 😁👍. Especially since I didn't have any prior experience... I hope this info helps! I really appreciate your support for my channel 👊🍻🍻👍
@@LevelUpMechanicsNo problem, I really enjoy your content and you are one of the few people still making videos on 8th gen Civics so I want to support! My headliner is in the same situation yours was so this video is great for me as a reference point so I can replace mine.
Thank you! I really appreciate the support 😁👍. The paint on the Civic is the original paint. There are definitely some minor imperfections and whatnot, but not too bad for a 15 year old car 😁.
I am assuming that it only makes approximately 120 HP with the short ram intake & full 2.5" exhaust system (tuned with Hondata Flashpro). I currently have the skunk2 R18 camshaft waiting to be installed, and I plan on installing a kraftwerks supercharger kit by this summer. The goal is to make a reliable 200 WHP daily driver that I can use occasionally on the track.
CHRISSSS !!! When I seen this on fb and seen it was you who posted I was happy to see you posted another civic video and one I wanna do! Thank you my brotha!!
Hopefully this video will help a little 😁👍. This project was my first attempt ever to "upholster" anything, so I had to sort of "wing it" as I went along. I highly recommend watching some other RUclips headliner videos (there should be some links in the description section) to help with the actual steps of wrapping the headliner. If you have any questions, just let me know. I'll do my best to help out if I can 😁👍.
this is too good! wowwwww! may i have a request/suggestion? hahha i want to know how to replace the seat belt on these 8th gens, want to see if i can upgrade it to red.. would you be able to show us a tutorial on how to? ive been searching the whole web and cant seem to find it anywhere =( thanks Level Up!
Thanks! I appreciate it 😁👍. As far as seat belts go, I've seen some people who try to dye the seat belts to their desired color. I've also seen a company (not sure of the name atm) that offers custom seat belts in any desired color, but I remember seeing that the cost was crazy $$$. Hrmmm 🤔
Looks great! I like the extra sounding deadening. Great idea

Hi Cris,
I really enjoyed all your Honda Civic Video.
did you repaint the car?
Thank you! I really appreciate the support 😁👍.

How much hp does it make and what mods have you done to the engine?

Yo I love you’re project.
Thanks 😁 👍. It came out pretty well, especially since I had zero experience prior to this.
I appreciate the support! 👊👍
