Metro Manila Skyway Stage 3 update as of August 2017

- Hello! This is our 42nd update for the Metro Manila Skyway stage 3 series. In comparison to the previous video, there were not mucn noticeable additions. There was an accident that offucred over pier 23 in section 1 where the rebars collapsed.

Section 2
Heard over some grapevine that the alignment for section 2 was redesigned. The alignment will now pass San Juan River and will be longer than the originally planned. (grapevine source)
5:40 - the columns where cylindrical in shape
Section 3
More girders installed along Araneta avenue
Section 4
12:46 - a narrow entry ramp at the center (i guess it is an entry ramp)- might be a problem for volume of vehicles someday...
13:23 - another entry ramp at the center?

With the passion in you about roads, wish you could work in DPWH. I do believe you are a good guy and incorruptible.
Due to the right of way issue especially on the section 2 quirino section nothing done so far.Four more years before it was finally completed .Do u see the perspective two layers must be completed but so far only one layer yet be complete.
Actually they are just waiting for the final design and costing of the North Rail and South Rail projects. Skyway Stage 3 wont be completed on January 2019.
Yeah January 2019 is a far fetch date for completion. How about section 1 sir . partial opening? any target date so far?

NLEX-SLEX Connector for SMC is under construction and the completion date is Jan. 2019!

Please be informed that NLEX-SLEX Connector is different from Skyway Stage 3. They havent start the construction yet due to right of way issue. Also, the final design and costing of north rail and south rail projects adds up to the delay of NLEX-SLEX Connector to START...
Hi dmitri. Can you please enlighten me on the araneta aurora blvd part of the skyway stage 3? I really have no idea where the flyover is headed to. Will it cross

Thanks for posting. Interesting to see where the crossbeams had collapsed. I see they STILL haven't got the power pylon out of the way on Araneta.
the one after the Buendia Flyover or near the end of the flyover... Pier 28 if i remember it right..
no not pier 28 but pier 23 after the buendia ramp and it is now nearing completion of coping beam as you see in the video

there is a re alignment daw so i guess the motels are safe (Old sta mesa area) hehehe.. as for the residential properties.. i am not privy to that sorry.
so around 20 minutes from SLEX to NLEX assuming not much traffic and go sa stoplights bale?
I wish someone from DPWH is watching this video and take some road repair along Araneta Ave and A. Bonifacio, potholes everywhere.

lets just pray for a miracle for section 1 - it is hard to assume deadlines as of the current situation and if we imposed deadlines, structural integrity might be an issue.. we wont like a ala-cypress road freeway in San Fo to happen in the Philippines wag naman po sana...

Dim, may I suggest you have still photos of the highlights or notes? Example the section 4 entry ramp on 12:46 and 13.23. The part of section 2 too. Its good to have an overview of the realignment of section 2 - revised vs. planned.

Rion Cervantes as per DPWH website, last June pa po ang construction ng TR4 and is expected to be completed around 2020. ;)
