Locko Park Hike Through Spondon And Ockbrook Derby Walks

After getting back from my first Wild camp I wanted to make the most.of the nice weather so I swapped over my bags and set off on a local hike covering Spondon, Locko Park and Ockbrook.

I'm from Spondon originally and went many times to Locko Park. A nice walk is Dale Road (on the far side of Locko Park through the area known as Sandy Lane) to DALE ABBEY, look at the remains at Dale and then go down hill to SANDIACRE (near Nottingham) and RISLEY and then return to DERBY via BORROWASH. When you get back to Spondon take BORROWASH ROAD on the right and the STONEY LANE, pass Spondon cemetery and you will know where you are.
