You're mistaken, the text says in 'Storm of Steel' is that World War 1 was believed to be the 'War to End All Wars, but it ended nothing'. Then the following text states; 'Yet it changed the world forever'.
Last year, I remembered of this mission and those Italian words at the end (24:17). Buon Compleanno, Matteo. I never knew what it meant and out of curiosity I googled it. I never realised until that point, everyone in his home was cheering for his birthday but inside his soul he was still grieving for his other part that died in the war.
