    You dont understand how long it took me to find a video that was like this. Just the actual use of your hobonichi without the contrived influencer vibes. I love how real it felt and how much time you took on each page. Everyone flips so fast you cant get a grip of how they utilize their spreads. I'm getting my first hobonichi this year and I'm scared! I've always gotten a Cleverfox planner until now.... But honestly, it was creepy how relatable I found this video.... from the depression, to the animal crossing, anime loving, to the Spanish and Japanese switches in my brain mixing languages, to feeling the need to pause for silly pop culture references - this video made me feel less lonely and I appreciate it so very much. I know it's not easy to produce content especially when we dont feel 100%, so thank you for this. Immediate sub.

      Wow, thank you so much!! Not only am I really appreciative of everything you said but just hearing that someone else has that whole Spanish/Japanese mix-up makes me feel like less of a weirdo! 😂
      Good luck with your Hobonichi! Are you getting the Original, the English Planner, or a Cousin? I hope it serves you well and you love it! They are all great products. 🖤

      I chose to get the original Japanese A6, I’ve been using an A5 but wanted something even more portable. I’m a huge fan of weekly Cleverfox, as far as quality of paper and binding for price it’s always been reliable but I wanted a little less structure and the ability to put it in even smaller bags. Also it’ll give me a little bit of kanji a day to translate which would be a fun challenge I think… everyone always covers it for the most part but I think I’m going to journal their translation in the back or in another notebook I havnt decided yet…
      But yea across all of your videos we share so many interests. I hadn’t been into Juno Birch that much prior to your clip but I feel like I’ll go down another rabbit hole soon with her…. I love drag race and discovering new queens I havnt learned about yet. I’m sure I’ve seen her but like never followed her content.
      I’ll be looking out for more of your stuff! I’m an instant fan. No pressure though. Being a creator can feel emotionally draining, so whenever the new ones come out I’ve got notifications on. 💕😌

    In the first seconds, I was thrown back to senior year in high school, when we were watching Fushigi Yuugi on tape from Blockbuster (Before it starts ripping your heart apart) - my friend and I would randomly call to each other, "Miaka!" "Tamahome!" "Miaka!" "Tamahome!" and just continue until our other friends were ready to commit justifiable murder.

    How did you make the sticker book cover? I can’t laminate but doesn’t it unseal once you punch the ring holes?

    • @momokeen
      @momokeen  9 месяцев назад

      Nope! I always use a heat laminator and since the other three sides of the lamination are still sealed, the covers do just fine. I don't know if it would be different for sticky lamination since I've never used that, but with heat lamination, the film will basically "melt" (not fully) onto your paper on both sides as long as the paper isn't too thick where it can't heat through all the way. I used a cardstock and a 7 mil lamination pouch and it did nicely. I would probably warn against taking them on and off the discs a lot of times as that might lead to problems with the seal on the punched edge, but I made this about 3 years ago and it's still holding strong. ✨ I hope that answers your question!

    tytytytyty. I too attempted to learn both Japanese at a Saturday school and French in mandatory high school and it messed me up with learning both!
    I specifically remember my French teacher asking me a questions in french and I, for whatever reason, brain defaulted to Japanese and so when hearing the question I couldn't translate it into English to understand what was being asked. I must of asked, in English, what he was trying to ask me because I got "the flag of shame" placed on my desk for that instance 🙄needless to say, i disliked that teacher and learning french for a long time. Now I want to learn again too.

      I actually designed my own tabs and then cut them out with my cricut.
