Thank you for sharing your purchase. I bought my very first a few months back and was not aware of the clear cover. Ordering right now for mine. Thanks to you :)
such a lovely haul! the tabs you made are beautiful! 🤩 i’m from canada too but i ordered from an ontario-based shop because i emailed them ahead of time to ask if they would be stocking hobonichi and they offered to put the items i wanted to put what i wanted to the side for me :)
Oh, my goodness, your nails are stunning! Also, I love how Brown Sugar looks in your Kaweco Student. Very nice combo. And it's so nice to find different covers. I'm glad that other companies make them. The A6 size can be deceiving. But it's such a nice size. I hope it works out well for you. ☺
I’ve yet to order from hobonichi, but I absolutely love the sound of the techo packaging- it’s so crinkly and satisfying! I bet the texture’s great too; it looks like such a lovely unboxing experience, especially with the yearly boxes that they come in (I love this year’s baby blue and chocolate brown colour combo). Not weird at all, in fact it made me happy that you mentioned it haha 💕 Love that brown sugar ink too, it’s gorgeous
Thank you so much for the links, I got totally lost in that site. It has so many lovely planner things at good prices. I love that plaid cover so much!!!
What a lovely haul! I'm from Quebec also and I didn't know that the prices of Hobonichi from Canadian stores are much more expensive! I'm just scared to pay duty taxes and custom if I buy from the original website. I love the cover choice you made for your A6 it is so lovely! I love the A6 size, I feel like it's less intimidating than the A5, which I felt some kind of pressure to fill. I hope you will enjoy the A6. Just wanted to let you know that your videos are lovely, the quality of the sound and video are very pleasant. Keep it up :)!
Thank you so much! Oh, right! I hadn’t considered the duty taxes and customs. That’s probably why the planners are more expensive in Canadian shop, they include the import fees in the price. For reference, I paid $46 CAD for my Weeks, while it’s $33 CAD on the official website. I feel the same way about the A5, it’s a bit intimidating. Since I’ve been using a B6, I don’t really see myself using anything larger. Also, I know I won’t fill every single page, so if I need more space, I can always go back to the ones I left empty. Thanks again for your kind compliments! They’re very encouraging!
I can confirm @LocalForestWitch111 . I ordered directly from Hobonichi and only had to pay for delivery. There were no additional duties when delivered to Ontario.
Like some others, I can also confirm that there are no customs fees when ordering directly from Hobonichi. I live in Nova Scotia and shipping fees from Ontario are between $15-20 plus the inflated prices for the items. Hobonichi only charges about $30 CAD directly from Japan. They also include free items which just adds to the excitement. And finally, if I recall correctly, the Hobonichi order arrived in about a week. This can also be faster than some shipments from Ontario.

I’m glad you discovered it through my video ☺️ It’s definitely a must to protect the cover especially if you decorate it!

There are no taxes or customs, it's covered by Hibonichi's side. I ordered from Europe and no additional fees! 🎉
