That's actually a good idea. Though the portable SCUs might have such a short range that it may not be worth it

Considering the Lathrixian Legion was built upon the dark lords Nurgle and Khorne, Khorne does not appreciate backstabbing. That is more Tzeentch than any of the other Chaos Gods. Also he'd probably get d********** for having "Heil Lathrix!" in a video.

This is exactly why we need tech anchors. Not the ground anchors we currently have, but a method to easily connect techs together with just the press of a button.
Name ideas: "The Decimator" or "The Bastion" for the big boi, and "The Incentivisor" or "The Decoy" for the smøl boi
An unarmed airship using tons of drones. I’ve this stuck in my head.
I think the drone carrier idea could be the focus of a whole playthrough. Instead of having rules to limit buying or harvesting, have restrictions on the builds themselves. The carrier is a permanent craft that gets upgraded over time like the nomad, but its restrictions are that it cannot have weapons or harvesters, relying solely on its drones to fight, destroy nature, and harvest corpses. While the drones themselves have either a size, cost or part limit. The carrier could be either land based or a helicarrier and without weapons or harvesters it's design, after ensuring maximal space for drones, can be focused entirely on aesthetics. If you wanted more of a challenge you could also restrict shields on the carrier, necessitating more armour focus and making it more vulnerable so you need to ensure the attack drones keep it safe.
Need to name the drone "Junior" because it looks like a little kid riding on Daddy's back... and then luring innocent victims in to be devoured by Daddy.

Could you make a mobile vehicle with controlled turrets on it somehow? Basically a huge vehicle with 2 or more turrets with a guard ai on each turret if it is possible
The better future gyro that controls pitch could be implemented to do such a thing.

You know what? Ask the devs to make the hooking parts automatic. Easier docking, easier life, absolutely and finally, they can be crafted!

Could use rockets to go to different planets like the ones in the sky

Maybe a weapon that can shoot friendly techs that would heal them
Reflector shields (bounce projectiles but take huge energy
Something that just sticks itself together like in a certain mod
More skins
And finally something that catches aircraft like the things on some aircraft carriers that can launch and catch aircraft for drones (and an ai that can fly properly)
Also I would call that build the juggernaut
Good sir they're still implimenting turrets... although I'm guessing they might add mech legs through either logic and rotors (like FTD) or just as a block (like robocraft) the game isn't finished, have hope and patience my friend!

You could make a super defensive (acctualy defensive this time) carrier, that can carry a bunch of small attack drones? Seems cool to me!

I think you should make an alternate attachment like a turret for it, possibly using the ball bearing, so that the spot on top has a use while you are driving around, rather than sitting there doing nothing if you're going for a long drive.
Make a helicarrier with drone hovers underneath that detach and fight PARATROOPERS esentialy

What I really what to see in Terra tech. Idk if these changes are dumb or anything, so let me know if they are.
1. *More difficult/intelligent enemies*
Enemies in Terra tech are too easy to beat. The game is more about fun builds than anything.
The difficulty should really rise faster. Bigger, stronger and more powerful enemies are needed.
2. *Ammo system*
This system would have ammo cells. There would be an ammo factory block, which would eat resources and fill up the ammo cells.
Weapons would use ammo depending on how powerful they are. Each weapon would need to reload after firing for a while. The battle ship or big Bertha cannons would use a crap ton of ammo and take forever to reload, which could justify how OP they are. Same with missiles, sadly.
3. *Less OP shields*
Battery spam can just make shields last forever.
I think the shields should have a overheat system. When the shields overheat, they are more likely to let stray shots through. (FTD uses something similar, i think).
After awhile the shields would reactivate.

OvenCake 1 is great, 2 doesn’t really suit the game, and 3 is a good idea, but I think that shields should be outright weaker and unable to block all shots, or only block certain weapon types. Armor should receive a buff. Removing shields would also work, because armor is nearly useless atm.

Have you considered looking at the modding scene for Terratech? The unofficial mod loader works really well, and people have been pumping out new custom skins for the corporations.
Call the base Corpus, and the drone Cephalon. As in the latin for Body and Head. I think it would fit neatly, and latin always sounds badass!

lath, it would be amazing to see you try your hand at making a hover tram. you can use hovers wrapped around a separate rail to ride along safely in the air. its a form of travel i dont think you have tried to build before, and i think youd enjoy the challenge

It would be nice if they added an elecromagnet-type thing that would split on command and then you could reconnect them and they would pull together when in range (1-2 blocks). However it wouldn't "merge" the techs, merely attach them like the current parts.
