- Hey everyone back with a new game called TerraTech Worlds! In this game we build vehicles and bases and try to scavenge parts while destroying enemy bots! Join Kosmo and I as we explore this amazing new world together in a new coop series!

Quick tip: Those abandoned bases you can see (like the one on top of the hill) are a goldmine for base building, since you can just roll up and take all the pieces for yourself.
Do you have to dismantle them, or can you take over and repair/modify the existing structure?

Totally want to see a coop series come out of this guys! I love how Kan was totally focused on the base-building/resource-gathering side of things while Kosmo immediately upgraded his tech!

You can build a roof over your base to catch the lightning there (or at least over your techyard block), and hide under the trees/mushrooms if you're out during a storm. The lightning will eventually break the mushrooms though.
I can’t believe I missed this until now, I’ve had so much fun with Terra tech and now there’s this!
Place a lightning rod on your base station and your vehicle and you will no longer get destroyed by lightning. You can use this to go pick up destroyed techs in the lightning trees. You can leave parts to draw them in, as well.
You can go to distant structures and break them apart. Each piece can stack up to ten identical pieces in the same storage space. This will save you a lot of resources and building.
There are big techs at the cold icy areas, but you have to draw them out, otherwise you will freeze and break apart. The big techs have plasma cannons, so you'll need to use a lot of firepower to take them out quickly. One good practice when fighting, is to collect the techs pieces you blast off. This will keep them from repairing themselves before you can finish them off. Also, if you can target and break their guns and scoop them up before they can repair themselves, then they are defenseless and easy to pick off.
You can install street lights/lamps to light up your base.
You can install multiple storage bins/silo's to hold lots of stuff. When taking parts from towers, you can find various constructed units, ready to install at your base.
FYI, you can counter Lightning from storms using a roof (be it a tree or a base). Bases are immune to Lightning.
There is also the portable lightning rod, but it must be actively used, and costs battery power to keep active.
the tides on that planet must be insane
Forget the tides, the continents themselves should be ripping apart at that point!
I have 2 counterpoints to that argument
1: as we don't know the mass of the planet it is equally as likely that it is super dense preventing the land from ripping off.
2: from what I saw there are planets pretty much constantly orbiting the planet (which is already strange as they seem much heavier than the livable planet) which should cancel out some of the forces of the other planets.

Rock, ore, mining cut the glowing lines to split the rock apart and get more and go faster I think, at least faster.
it has to be the same planet because that plant that ballooned up is the same spot with two techs around it like i was seeing in mine

1. Those trees that shoot you also shoot you if you get too close.
2. Expansion blocks for your vehicle/tech itself are pretty rare it seems from most people ive watched play so far.
3. You can (probably) build lightning rods to make lightning strike you or your base less.? (Don't quote me on that...)
I think the lightning rods will attract the lightning and produce power for the base, but I don’t really know for sure

Quick tip if you build a platform that is 2 pillars high lighting would not heart you you will unlock those pillars a bit later

Kan, you need to continue this series now that they have refined the game. There's 4 distinct biomes now and things are bit more balanced.

I went to the tower looking thing in the mountain and there was nothing apart from the parts, and picking them up took a really long time
There should also be two storage silo there.

I think my only gripes with the game are:
A: the graphics are a bit... fuzzy (the best I can describe it) on the max settings. It's not a resolution problem, more of a post-processing problem; I expected it to be more crisp.
B: ammo for guns annoyed me a fair bit, I was fine with the lack of ammo management in the original game. could become quite an annoyance.
C: I hope the visual rounding of the worlds isn't an indication of how small they are, I rather enjoyed the long-distance exploration of the original game.

y'all should really get a windmill because those don't consume carbon and can produce bursts of like 600 power.

the "round" world, is in reality only half a sphere, since for some reason the devs decided to use world borders
could be because it's a demo so they don't want to spoil everything
@@soangry highly unlikely, seeing as the main concept of the game focuses on multiple planets in the future. Since there are multiple resources available for crafting, that isn't available in large quantities, the more likely thing is that they haven't finished most of the game yet. If the game ever releases in the near future, it wont be much different than the current open beta. Looking at these facts, they didn't limit the world because "they don't want to spoil everything", they did it because they want to release the game as soon as possible, thus wanting the beta to seem different compared to the full release. Right now, a most likely scenario it that for the full release, we get the other half of the planet and a hint of going to a different one soon. I'm not expecting too much new content over shorter time periods after the release, in reality, no one should.

I was going to purchase this game when it comes out, but with the implimentation of weather that just out right killing you makes the game a no buy for me.
