THERE IS A NEW TERRATECH GAME?!?!?! I bought the og terratech game when it first hit the steam store and it's one of my favorite time killers.

hey great video! just a tip if you keep playing. you keep destroying the weapons first, if you do that, they wont drop. basically you get new parts when they are not too damaged when they get separated from the cab. if you kill the cab first, most of the parts are intact. also something I just figured out, if you refine your carbon, you get a much better return on it. probably even better if you purify it, but I dont have a purifier yet.

HI HI. 1 You can only get tech parts when you destroy the cab without damageing other parts
2. You can refine stone (boulder) in to carbon
3. Dont try to destroy building parts, you can collect them in order to use on your base
My suck fighting skills are prolly gonna have me building more than tanking other rovers in this game but this looks really cool. This a great twist on open world survival games. I love building and modding!

I loved playing Terratech, this looks like they've taken the best things from that game and added some new survival elements to it! You make me buy so many games from Steam!

Didn't come back, afaik this is actually a separate game. A "sequel" if you will.
Man I remember playing this and following it years ago. It used to have so many bugs and resets. Glad to see it’s made a bunch of progress!!
I remembered this game in its early beta!! love the gameplay and commentary
take your tech yard to that base up top, place and claim it and you can just take the pieces instead of having to destroy it to claim. Quartz will give a bunch more silicon, usually found in the blue tree area. you can destroy the lightning trees, but it takes alot and will drop lithium. Look forward to more from you.

not sure if its correct but if you destroy the gun while fighting them i think it wont drop anymore
I also think that if you shoot parts in battle you don't get them

That's indeed correct, parts destroyed in a fight don't drop. Even parts that aren't destroyed have a high chance of being destroyed when the cab explodes if they're still connected to it. You usually only get about 1 in 3 or 4 parts that don't get destroyed in combat. You can get around this to some degree by "dissecting" the enemy tech, most of the parts you "cut" of the tech will survive.
Great video my friend, the white random bases can be broken down if you destroy the barrel with the fist and then place a tech yard.
Ooh what a great concept kinda similar like Terratech..
You get money for task missions (place refinery, silo, mine and refine items) which you spend unlocking part schematics in the block maker.
I still play the first game sometimes lol. Gotta give this a try 👍
I am not sure i like this game but after watching this video youtube recommended me "Mars first logistics" game (as it is also based on using rover and building it part by part) and it is amazing.
"I want to get a new gun" Keeps destroying the guns he wants to get.
Would love to see some more of this game- it looks so satisfying to slowly build your behemoth!

Even though this is a bit old, here's a tip. Until you get a GOOD energy weapon, keep a miner/gun combo as default, the resource lasers do decent damage, and I think give a better chance to aim and get the parts you want. (take out the blocks that connect weapons) Otherwise you're just 'floating' resources.

this LOOKS great, but I've read that there is a build limit in this game, as opposed to the previous games build limit being when you crashed the game...
Hopefully they lift the limits before going V1.0

on that base on the hill you where able to just steal the building parts and the small storage sylo in the demo so just grab a part and drag it and see if you can gather them. though you can only hold 10 in a stack
U need to break the fist thingy to be able to steal things first

I haven't touched this game in about 5yrs now. This looks like a lot has been added. It's a ton of fun building a river, best tip though, bury your cab in the middle of your rover and use armour on the front and sides. Offensive to the front and ming off the rear 😉👍

Destroying the thing with a fist on top of it should allow you to take a part the whole thing around it since all of it isn't claimed by anyone
i swear when i watch royal play these game he make me sometime aggro as he know the plants boop the craft but still goes straight into them Brain turn off i guess
You should try regular Terratech too.
looked up reviews, said it was bad and grindy. I skipped from like 5 min to 46 or 47 and he was getting blown back by the same exact plant he got blown back by in the first 2 minutes, and his vehicle looks barely upgraded...looks cool, but not there yet. Ironically that's what most of the reviews seem to say
it's like a graphic friendly version o space engineers.
30 minutes in and still watching but the blue circles you keep picking up when killing stuff is light ammo.
If you want something from another bot you have to avoid breaking that piece you want

Can you build here a big vehicle's?like 30 wheels and tons of guns or you are limited?I was watching fev movies and everyone driving small vehicles look like carbot box with wheels, in terratech one i was building a real monsters 😂
This game is dead with all the limits and stupid mechanics. The player base fell right off when people started noticing the crap dev desitions.
I know nothing about the game. This video is the first of it I'm seeing. However, I can see your comment being unfortunately true; as is the case with many of these indi dev teams. This has huge potential, but the mechanics might be hard to nail down.
I'd like to see it go a sort of building battle arena rtg type private server route. Each player could have up to 3 blueprints on the map at once. I think something like this would tick many boxes for many people.
