ROYAL AUSTRALIAN NAVY SHOULD ADOPT HYPERSONIC AIR LAUNCHED OFFENSIVE ANTI-SURFACE (HALO) MISSILE

Raytheon, an RTX business, has completed a technical review and a seamless prototype fit-check in phase one of the U.S. Navy’s Hypersonic Air Launched Offensive Anti-Surface (HALO) program, also known as the Offensive Anti-Surface Warfare Increment 2 program. The US Navy says it wants the Hypersonic Air-Launched Offensive Anti-Surface Warfare missile - or HALO - in service no later than 2028.
