Hello dear, this scooter is designed for daily city short commutes, so 20mph is a safe speed for riders. But if you wanna a faster speed, you can check our Caroma C1 which has 25 mph speed: ruclips.net/video/DKqMd-k0RiQ/видео.html Besides, we are now preparing the Caroma ligtning model which is off-road model and can support 36 mph.

Will the brakes work when going down a hill from home without power to save battery? Will it go slower, 5 miles or less ( I do not like speed) to enjoy the scenery without hurting anybody outside or inside a supermarket? Many thanks in advance. Yes, I am a granny.

Hi there, our Caroma P3 scooter has front and rear disc brakes, so you ride it safely, but If the slope is very steep, we still recommend you ride it very slowly. For the speed, its maximum speed is 20 mph, if you wanna ride it slowly, of course ok, you can change it to the eco mode
