    The new RV6 turbo looks powerful it made over 500 whp at 26 psi for reference the stage 4 tune on the stock turbo peaks at 24-24.5! Pricing hasn’t been released for the RV6 turbo yet but people have tested the beta turbo on their Civic Type R. Check out the CivicX forum and you’ll see a ton of positive results and feedback with the RV6 turbo and it’s direct bolt on no need for anything aftermarket besides injectors and fuel pump.
    Edit: It really depends on the price right now P600 are going for $2100-$2200 which isn’t too bad RV6 hasn’t released the price but if they can price it competitively I think I will lean towards that. There’s still no replacement for displacement unfortunately when I had my J35 3.5 V6 Accord I was looking at a turbo kit that made over 500 horsepower on only 9-10 psi and crazy amounts of torque on straight pump gas. But the 10 speed automatic is so much nicer than the 6 speed auto of old.

    Hello guys. My experiential opinion is that there is no reason to worry about losing low rpm torque with a big turbo when you have a custom tune along with flex fuel. You won't even care nor notice:). I'm running the Pure 550 tuned @ 93 octane/ 30% eblend.

    • @TheLemonFactor

      Based on my experience, I’ll have to disagree. Go take a look at some of the MHI and FK8 dyno graphs and comparing them to our current setup, the gains for these turbos won’t be seen until after 4500 RPMs 🤷‍♂️. If you’re racing, great, but in everyday driving you’ll have less power down low.

    Limit the wheelspin and bring it! I have Phearable Stage 3 and stack JB4 on top of it with E30. It's faster then Stage 3. Wheelspin is an issue. Later turbo boost is not a bad thing. 2600 rpm boost is good.

    Question bro I have a 2018 Honda accord sport 1.5L I want to know if it’s possible to swap my engine to a 2.0t and and transmission swap to a 10 speed ?

    • @TheLemonFactor
      @TheLemonFactor  Год назад +1

      Although I’ve not seen it done, I’m sure it’s possible 🤔. I think a better option would be to sell the 1.5 and buy a 2.0. Of course if you’re looking to do this on a car with a blown engine and you already have a donor 2.0 then it would make for an interesting challenge 😉

    Any thoughts on the titanium inlet pipe? Other than it looks decent.. I feel like that crappy tiny plastic crap it replaces "should" help.. 🤷‍♂️ would sure make for a good video 😆.. and expensive dyno pull.. for probably minimal gains

    • @TheLemonFactor
      @TheLemonFactor  2 года назад +1

      I have thought about it, but I do not feel as though it will add any additional performance gains. However, a replacement is needed if I'm to upgrade the turbo.

    • @delpsdayoff3372
      @delpsdayoff3372 2 года назад +2

      @The Lemon Factor! LLC ok! I haven't looked into what's required on a turbo swap.. well that sort of validates the addition of the inlet pipe being it can be used for the upgraded turbo.. I'm only assuming it bolts to the oem turbo also. I wanted to also point out that although you have "cooler" cars.. I think it's epic that you spend so much time on the accord! It's just a realistic every day car that alot of people can afford! And I think that it will only become exponentially more popular as time goes.. I feel like in 7-8 years from now that you're current accord videos will explode with views as younger crowds can afford these. Thanks for what you do

      Thank you for your kind words and support, it’s very much appreciated 😁 I love my Honda Accord! I’ve had plenty of other cars that were more expensive, and have had the pleasure to drive many others, and I can say that a more expensive car isn’t necessarily better. That’s why I enjoy cars so much - they all have something to bring to the table, but not everything. It’s all what you’re looking for.

I have a very reputable garage that specializes in Honda since the 90s and they've gotten some very impressive games off many of the engine platforms that Honda has come out with.
