In this video, we're going to show you how to convince your friend to get into 40k!This is a difficult task, but with a little convincing, we can get your friend on board with the idea of getting into 40k. Whether they're already playing the game or not, we'll show you how to get them interested in the game and how to get them playing it more! Игры
Holy Emperor - on track to hit a quarter of a million views! Thanks to all of you for checking out my content, I upload near enough every day so feel free to check out the rest of my channel if you want a little more!
Very cool video thx
The Emperor of mankind blessed you with the algorithm!!!!
Lol dude, a half million after 3 weeks
@@What2Have4Dinner I know, pretty wild ey? Shame it got copy right claimed, but I can't put a price on how much my channel has grown so quickly
In the end Walter could almost afford to buy a 40k army.
Lol

That Manta ain't cheap.
what I need is $737,000
Hahahahahaa
This is exactly how I feel now painting my first army, so my buddy has someone to play with. 🤣
Welcome to the hobby!
I’m you but 5 years in the future.
*Take care of your brushes.*
your a good friend.
@Sneed Mando bro thats me 3 boxes ago 🤣
Big welcome to the light of the Emperor! Remember they golden rules my friend.
1) Always thin your paint.
2) It's never to early to take care of your brushes.
3) ALWAYS THIN YOUR PAIN!
4) (while it might seem daunting it's worth) magnatizing your models.
5) For the love of the God emperor, thin your paints!
All kidding aside, sincerely welcome. Always feel free to ask questions, and share your painting progress. Even the snarkiest of commenters will usually want to help you if you want advice. Also thin your paints.
Walt got his cancer from breathing in resin dust, but that wont stop him
He was a model war gamer in college and didn't bother to wear a mask when dealing with resin dust
@Ban this youtube I know there's a joke to be made in there somewhere about gloving up and condoms but I just can't find it.
@@heliopyre Or a joke about Warhammer 40k being an effective contraceptive.
Honestly that’s one of my biggest fears. I’ve been painting with 40k stuff since I was 13 and I didn’t always use the best precautions with that primer and glue T_T no one ever really told me about that stuff
@@flannellemur4818 your probably fine with both things for the most part, as long as you haven't been constantly priming inside and huffing plastic glue although I myself take precautions like building my models outside when I can taking measures to avoid contact with chemicals like wearing gloves and washing both the work space and myself afterwards
edit: decided to do a bit more research and the common chemicals within most plastic cements like revell and citadel's plastic cement are based on n-butyl acetate which is not carcinogenic and like I said if your not huffing it or swallowing it you should be fine, I am still going to go outside to build my models when using plastic cement and I will still wear gloves but like that is just good practice when working with any solvent or harsh chemical
Lol that table was so decently placed on a screen i thought for a second they really gonna play it
Holy cow I didn't even realize the video was edited until I read your comment
Lmao I didn’t even notice it
So that's the reason why Walter White started a drug business - to be able to afford a single Warhammer 40k army. It all makes sense now.
Cancer was just a cover. Too embarrassed to admit he's hooked hook and sinker in 40k.
Alternative universe where Walter WAS able to stop after getting a reasonable ammount of money and the dynamic duo was trying to find a hobby to pass time since they obviously had more than enough dough to never have to think about a job ever in their life again.
I would really like to see a full episode like that, not gonna lie.
Walter only started selling meth to purchase more figures
See, he would get pulled back into making meth when he spends his fortune building a few armies.
Then Tuco gets involved and becomes "That Guy."
Walter would still wind up telling a tearful Skylar that he did
it for him and he liked it
I love the idea of inviting your friend to play this intricate, highly detailed and painstaking table-top game... And the friend gets SO overwhelmed that he just opts to move away instead of just saying "Nah not my thing."
you think all 40k games are tabletop? try darktide pal
@Deba Roy 🌹 "intricate, highly detailed, and painstaking table-top game" darktide is none of these things
@@LordSubtext of course it is not thats why i mentioned it. Also 40k inquisitor not a tabletop

DnD players: "They're making us pay for a new rulebook that makes the old one irrelevant? This is outrageous!"
40k players: *Thousand yard stare*
"Jesse jesse we need them, why do you think we sold all that meth. I Neeeed to finish this game before I die"
As me and my friends joke "40k stands for amount of dollars spent"
Walter needed Jesse to buy the miniatures because he was too embarrassed to go into a games workshop
"Astra milit..."
"Adeptus soro..."
"Yo mister White I can't even pronounce this shit"
Yeah, even RUclips offers to translate it to English!
0:34 if ONLY he actually did that…
This is one of the reasons why I'll probably never get into this part of 40K. It's expensive, I suck at painting, so painting small soldiers would just be a nightmare, plus I don't have anyone who I'd play with alongside not actually knowing what to do. But I've stayed for the lore of 40K, it's fascinating.
I have respect for those who do this, though, finding the time to both play this and paint your army. Especially those who make insanely detailed models.
gave up before he even started
@@GeoffreyBronson Yeah, I guess that's me. Just don't have the patience.
you could get into Kill Team.
Look into 6mm scale. You can buy a whole army for under $100, let alone if you get/have a 3D printer of your own. Convert the measurements down a bit, grab some smaller-scale terrain to match, and you've got yourself a playable budget 40k. Even better if you wanna do Killteam, a full squad can be acquired for at or under $10.
May I introduce you to poorhammer 2D

"Jesse! WE HAVE TO PAINT"
Back in 2011 when none of my friends could afford the figures or a proper board. We recreated the game in a Minecraft server, best summer ever.
How'd you make that? I'm honestly down for that...
"I can't pronounce any of this stuff"
"3D printer...can you pronounce THAT?"
As someone who sold his magic cards 15 years ago and recently started to play with his nephew only to find out that the newer sets are shit (who the fuck wants planeswalkers, cards are often ridiculously powerful) and that cards from old sets are worth their weight in gold, I can relate to that ;)
Printed bunch of proxies and cut them out while listening to podcasts.
@@zuiop9993 I looked into warhammer 40k. then I found it would cost me a thousand dollars or so and months of painting just to actually try to find out if I liked it.
I can print out an AD&D character sheet for free, download all the books for free, spend $5 on dice, and play.
God this editing was incredible.
“Come on, the only thing you must do to join Warhammer 40k is to spend all your net worth in figurines and sell your soul to afford more”

@@AAhmou find sm1 with a resin printer
"Now, this is just for one army. If we want to fight, we'll need a bit more"
I wish there was a tts voiceover for the shopping list. Like: "Imperial fist contemptor dreadnaught, leviathan siege dreadnaught, firstborn as..", "astartes", "3 sets of plastic glue, 4 sets of dice, 1 set of universal markers, catachan squads. I can't even pronounce this." etc..
The "I can't even pronounce half this shit" was super real when i first got into 40k when i was younger.
"Administratum" tripped me up for a long time, I kept adding in an 'or' before the 'um.' All those multisyllabic pseudo-Latin words.
"I'm leavin' town. Moving to Oregon or sormethin'."
Exactly my response when my "friend" started explaining the game to me.
I would just tell him to buy a 3D Printer, you don't need much more honestly.
The new headcanon version of Breaking Bad where Walt is cooking to afford playing 40k will always be funny to me
Shoulda kept the "This is the first day of the rest of your life" bit
My affinity for chaos and speed naturally caused me to instantly pick slaanesh demons for my army after looking over my options
Yea those are the ONLY 2 reasons you chose slaanesh…riiiiigght
Funny how slaanesh has always been my favorite god and iron marines always my favorite warband but this edition i was finally treated like a dirty ultramarines player lol
Yeah this is my having to listen to my friend about orcs and demons and space soldiers and chaos guys and my adhd zones me out the entire time
You sold me completely with everyone's slightly defeated expressions sitting at a game table...
I didn't even know the table was edited until they started moving.
Jesse: "W-What're'ya doin?"
Walt: *"BLOOD FOR THE BLOOD GOD. SKULLS FOR THE SKULL THRONE."*
The pile of money that Huel layed on in the storage unit wouldnt have been enough for an army.
Instructions unclear, now I have what I need to make meth, not warhammer.
Convincing your friend to tell your mom what you both want for Christmas because if you ask she'll say no.
This week on Rolling Bad, Walter buys a Gameworkshop store.
Even if I don't get this one bit, I still appreciate the editing skills lmao
I have NEVER seen a more accurate TV/film edit/mashup like this.
That's pretty funny. My mom's ex had a brother who was into 40k, and I saw his gray box he kept his SM army in. His chapter was called the "Cremators" and I asked him what that was.
The rest is history. 40k kicks ass.
I wish I could spend enough to have a necron army, but I'd rather spend it on blow.
battletech will always accept you.
This is actually my situation. I was trying to get into the hobby but everything required to start prevent people from doing it. Even the novels are not easily available.
Walter dont do it for his family, he do it for his army setup
Me, anticipating new World Eaters launch soon: “I will never financially recover from this”
Golden opportunity missed at the end for Walt to put an unpainted figurine in Jesse's pocket
i love the tone and the tension. 😎
Mr. Walter knows how serious it is with 40k for young.
Very creative 😂 love it
Bogdan must of opened a WH shop
The mark-up Games Workshop puts on Warhammer stuff in the USA would have meth dealers thinking you've gone too far.
"Man, we know they're addicts, we can charge what we want, but they're still human beings you know"
This is the moment Walt became a Sisters of Battle player.
Aaaah would have been way better if you replaced the chemical lines with obscure figure names
Before the camera changed perspective I thought it was real
half of them want to play until they see the modeling, the other half want to play until they see the rule books...😭
It's why I went totally third party.
I can still enjoy the lore without dealing with GW's absolute bullshit. 😂
@@peterclarke7240 I think you’re missing the point. Half of my friends don’t like modeling, it doesn’t matter which company they’re modeling models from. The other half are scared away by the rules, all these games have lots and lots of rules.
@@albdamned577 Well, I definitely get the first one (glances furtively at Pile of Shame) One Page Rules are a thing in the Tabletop wargaming community.
Rules are only complicated because a company decided to make them so. There's no actual reason other than that, and GW are the masters at rules bloat.
@@peterclarke7240 granted that most of my attempting was in 8th edition, I liked the rules, just not the multi books for rules. I liked the idea of 8th, with the core book and your rule book. Then they added campaigns…I think GW could benefit from some project management lol.
@@albdamned577 I started with 8th and left during 8th. Saw my friend carrying 6 books to run his chaos army, and figured this game wasn't for me lmao. Moved on to historicals, where they're way more generous with how they give you the rules (cards for units, single rule book with everything, etc) or Star Wars Legion where the rules are all in a free PDF that gets updated with new releases. They're also way easier to understand than all the clunky rules and "stratagems" and special abilities that need tracking in 40k.
Been meaning to try One Page Rules to still use my Grey Knights models.
adepta... adepto astrat.... yo mr white I can't pronounce half of this!
I like how the beginning scene is just a static camera, but the tracking is still moving around the place 😅
Literally my best friend showing war hammer and all the factions till I found sisters of battle
tabletop 40k was and still is a rich kid's game, unnecessarily so as well
"Don't worry, it's not as expensive as people say it is" -First thing people say when I tell them I am interested in Warhammer but not sure it's something I can dive into
Anyone else remember paying $15 for 1 pewter character in the early 90s? Once they went plastic, it wasn't so bonkers expensive.
i still got pewter figures. it makes me mad though cause my dark elves all have spears and long swords that bend easily.
Never played any table top game in my life but this is a god tier meme
While this is hilarious, I am glad GW's putting a lot of emphasis on the "Combat Patrols" so people have a relatively "500ish" points to start with, play a bit, then determine if they like the game enough to buy more. Starting the hobby in 4th was a little daunting for me, especially when ALL my friends prioritized 1500-1750 point lists.
Jessy got that MK Kano movie vibe at the end.
A Breaking Bad parody, where Walter enters the competetive WH40K tournament scene and uses his knowledge to cheat at games to win the prize money.
One fateful day, his new partner uses a rubber measure tape to finish off Uncle Hank's last full-strength unit during the semi-finals, leading to a heartbreaking scene later on in the show where an angry Walter Jr. tells his dad to "git gud" over the phone.
"I can't even pronounce half this shit." 💀💀💀
- You play 40k warhammer?
- No, I just like painting the little statues, and displaying them on a shelf
- Would you LIKE to play?
- No
- Would you like to LEARN how to play?
- Let me pay for my paint, then fuck off
Yeah...me and my friend went halves on a box and even though he wanted to play he never seemed to grasp anything so i had to explain everything everytime...this is definitely the vibe of those sessions
I'm doing whats called the Ciaphas Cain approach.

Lore is the best bait
This is actually so clever XD
I'm on painting models and lore. My only tournament I got crushed on first turn by a guy whos army was only primed. Warhammer is a great hobby with many ways to be enjoyed.
This is what buying Cryptothralls in 10th feels like
Hilarious. I was imagining Walt wearing an Imperium soldier’s helmet the whole time.
Me, learning that i cant just run all the cool big shit in my army but have to have infantry:
Just play knights

Jesse, we need to paint.
Jesse, I need those new Adepta Sororitas figures Jesse. Bring me some Eversor and Calidus as well.
Now I'm thinking about what army the two of them would pick.
Basically my first time learning magic the gathering
Just like a chaos corruption
Would’ve been better if you dubbed over the meth supplies with a wild array of figures with a voice AI
So we'll edited that I thought the actors were going to do a bit before they started talking.
A nurgling pox walker? Idek wtf this is?!?
I got one of my friends into it but it took alot of nerd lore convincing for him to get into it and also I told him about the good word of the God emperor of mankind
Funny enough, the more friends of mine have told me about the lore, the less I want anything to do with it. I'm a lore guy, a huge lore guy, but 40k ain't it.
This is the Best video of this year!
And it is only January xd
