- Heeeeey family! Today's video is a bit of a travel vlog... We'll be sharing our latest adventure as we take a trip from Ghana to the UK. Moving to Ghana (alone) with kids is certainly not easy. I've felt burnt out and decided that I needed to get my batteries recharged.
You'll be able to follow our journey from our home in Ghana, to the airport, right through to our home in the UK. Lots of dancing, TWO birthdays, an accident (ouch) AND a storm that kept us stuck in the UK in ONE video .... It's amazing how much can be squeezed into one week.

Heeeeeey Nana! Believe it or not, both Rhianne and Aaron did the voice over. They sound so similar 😂🤣 …. Even I get them mixed up at times. Thank you! We had a really good time (apart from my fall lol) 😊
Taking a short break is fun for the children and shopping. But did you know how cold it was going to be??? Hahahahahha to be honest, it often snows in February so I expected it to be very cold. The winds were unexpected. Yes, mummy is very thoughtful.

Naomi… sistren… I was slightly envious of your quick jaunt back to the UK… until I saw the near freezing temperatures… the wind blowing you all about… the rain… the two… three coats… the extra padded duvet… yep… all of these things helped me put things into perspective very fast!!! Lol…lol Btw… mummy is a great dancer (and far from a disgrace daddy!); I think it’s wonderful that she’s still swinging her hips and doing the two step kick… go mummy…go!! It’s the Caribbean girl in her coming out ;) !!
Liiiiiiiiisten!!!! 😂🤣😂🤣 The storm was serious 😱 … It was such an impromptu trip. Wanted to be with my partner for his birthday so called my travel agent and he hooked us up. If he were in Ghana, I would not have been in the UK last week. England was COLD 🥶 …. LOL mum is the greatest 😂🤣😂🤣 but she is doing our head in with that blasted song 😂😂😂😩😩
But that is not every day i to move to Ghana but when i and my husband sit down and do our home work first thing come up in front us is our free healthcare that we work and pay for to sacrifice that for Ghana no no no transportation weather it’s big or small it is not easy in Africa next thing is security policing in many of those places or not good enough jobs you don’t come first even if you have your uk qualifications that not how it work there . Now going to Africa to live good if you have money left back here in the uk that nice because when living in there showing up it ugliness you have money can pay your fair to come back to the life you know better than the one there if you have a big business running successfully there uk can be a holiday destination yesyes it can otherwise from that boy be careful

Hello Naomie, I would start with saying am a very big fun of your family, and love the way you break things down thank you and am happy to be part of this YT Family.
I have so many questions to ask please has this will be my first time travelling to Ghana with my children as they haven’t been before and they are so excited to come and also seeing your videos with them also made them super excited to travel to the Motherland.
My questions are:
1. Travelling from UK to Ghana - if you are not fully vaccinated what are they pros and cons with a UK passport or a Ghana passport?
2. If I do get Ghana passport for my kids and we travelling back to the UK can we use our UK passport?
3. Has we will be there for 2months please is there any fun places I can visit with them ages are 6,5&2 also we both have the same son name Aaron😊

Heeeeey Selina! Welcome to the family and thank you so much for joining us! I'll do my best to answer your questions: -
1. At present, all travellers aged 18 years and above will be required to provide evidence of full vaccination for a COVID-19 vaccine. Non-residents aged over 18 cannot travel to Ghana without being vaccinated. If you are travelling on a Ghanaian passport, my understanding is that you will be offered the vaccine upon arrival or have to undergo mandatory quarantine for 7 days.
2. Yes. This is exactly how I travel between Ghana and the UK.
3. Certain malls have playgrounds that my children enjoyed when they were younger. Your children are at an age where they will still enjoy. They liked to use the playground at Achimota Mall & A&C Mall. Splash & Play at Airport. The children also enjoyed going to Fun Zone at Palace Mall. My children also love to swim so we either go to the swimming pool at Oak Plaza or Coral Gardens at Oyibi. Other than that, the children LOVE going to the beaches.

Heeeeey Dennis! Welcome to the family 🥳🥳🥳🥳 … I’ve always wanted to experience living abroad. I am of Ghanaian heritage so it was a no-brainer. Also wanted to give my children this experience of being fully immersed in their culture … and an opportunity to learn our language.
If it were solely my decision, I would not move back to the UK permanently as things currently stand. My partner will have the final say on where we ultimately call home.
