Here from Vanessa Kanbi. Loved your video with her about moving to Ghana. I'm watching from the Kingdom of Tonga - South Pacific. I'm Tongan and married to a Ghanaian. Currently living in Tonga with our 2 kids as well 🤗
Im watching from Belgium! I am born and raised in Amsterdam. But my family is originaliteit from Surinam. Our ancestors are from west africa so I HAVE to visit the motherland someday. Keep the video's coming! Greetings and much love from Antwerp
Good conversation with your Dad. The chemistry between you and your dad is priceless. Back when l was growing there was nothing like sitting down and having a conversation with your dad. Most African dads only gave instructions and we follow, No questions asked. Good conversation, waiting for part 2
Heeeeey Kenny! Nice to see you here again 😁 … My dad is nothing like the archetypal African Dad! We really do have a good laugh. Part 2 will be out next week 🥳🥳🥳
WOW, Adventist Men Sabbath Night and other Church Event Addiction! DOMINOS!!! and they are so passionate about slapping a small rock tile with numbered dots on a table; sometimes I think they'd break the poor little tiles and tables with one slap. I remember as a little girl growing up on the island, my late dad taught me how to play the game by being able to read the tiles played by each individual player especially when they passed their turn. I didn't stick with it as the players yelled too much. He then taught me how to play checkers instead. Some most cherished memories of my most loved parent #daddysgirl#misshimsomuch. Lovely interview with daddy and daughter❤Blessings🙏
Your dad looks and sounds so distinguished. A real gentleman and handsome too! ... I enjoyed the interview. Looking forward to learning more about him, his life as a student, career (I was intrigued to hear that he was a minister, I had always assumed he was a medical doctor!) future aspirations etc.
God bless your parents, your dad’s is awesome 👏🏾 I enjoyed his honesty in telling the stories as they are, as a pastor now many will only focus on their goody part when telling such stories. My uncle Joe who came to England in the 50’s tells similar stories about racism and bullying from the Caribbean’s.
Thank God for bringing your family this far !! Those paraffin or gas heaters in those days on the council flats was deadly if there was any leakage ..it's call silence killer !!
Hahaha that must have been such a great experience 😂🤣 …. I remember the first time my children recognised snow when they were younger. I can’t imagine what it must be like to live in the heat for YEARS and then experience snow much older!
Wonderful interview!!! Your dad is so lovely and he is such a wonderful story teller I laughed out loud so many times. I was so sad to hear about his experiences with extended family as a child. My mother went through a similar experience when she was a young child in Ghana. I would love to see a video with your parents talking about navigating an intercultural marriage and giving advice to others on that path. Naomi you are doing wonderful inspiring work!! Much love 💜
Heeeeey Nana! Thank you so much for watching and for your continual support ❤️❤️ …. It’s always tough hearing about those experiences with the extended family 😞. I’m sorry your mother experienced something similar. What a BRILLIANT idea! I will be sure to do that once I’m with them both again. Thank you soooooo much, Nana ❤️❤️
Heeeeeey ….. Thanks for watching and for your continued support! Means so much. They are coming… I’m sure we’ll all be here one day! Hope you’re well ❤️
Heeeey Tricia! So so glad you enjoyed it! Part two will be dropping tomorrow. Hahaha yes, my dad was a very naughty boy! I am amazed that he grew to become a Pastor 😂🤣 …. There is clearly power in prayer!!! 🙌🏾
Naomi, I can relate to ur dad domino social. We did it too after church on Saturday nights and eve of holidays. I have a direct spiritual connection with ur dad.
Heeeeey! Great to see you here again. Thanks for watching. I’m doing incredibly well, thank you. Hahahaha so many people have said the same thing! I can’t escape him 😂🤣
Hi, I'm your newest subscriber Grenadian/Canadian living in Canada. this is so weird but in the intro pic at the beginning or @0:21, I know this lady; isn't she the late sister Lina Andall? I knew her quite well, our families all attended the Sauteurs SDA church. Small world, yeah!! Back to watching the rest of the interview with your dad now.
I love the honesty in your dad, some other person wouldn't give All the details of their childhood and as a minister of the gospel that is what the almighty God want from his fowlers and in my humble opinion that would off make him a person who is compassionate and caring minister who is Christlike in his ability to council young people and also caring for seniors and spend time with the men and socialize by taking part of the game he previously mentioned,I can continue but as I close I just want to say that you are an amazing person and that is what a Christ like sprite Jesus Christ had My the almighty God keep you and your legacy will live on in your children and your çhildren children. Blessings to you and your daughter for such an awesome father and daughter conversation 🙏😇☮️❤️🇹🇹.
Wow! Thank you so much for your beautiful words, Edris! I really appreciate you taking the time to leave such a heartfelt comment. I’m soooooo glad you enjoyed the video. Thanks again 😊❤️
Great conversation, looking forward to part two. I can relate with the cold/snow stories as a teenager travelling to Europe in the 90’S. oh 😣 it wasn’t a pleasant experience I can tell you that much, and I will live to tell my children that story one day
Heeeeeey! Soooo glad that you enjoyed the conversation. Part 2 is coming tomorrow. Your children will surely enjoy the stories about your experiences 😁
A lot of confessions there look how he turned out eventually . No a hard core criminal. I laughed so much , for those years, he was very brave ,I’d say
Hahaha! A very honest interview. Definitely not a hard core criminal 🤣 …. I am truly glad you enjoyed the interview! Will be bringing my mother on soon.
Heeeey Naomi, loved the chemistry between you and your dad. You have an amazing charisma, public and motivational speaking is definitely on the horizons for you 🤗. Looking forward to part 2 X 👍🏽🙏🏾
Mr Osei…so nice to see and hear this side of you. Talking about the slipper, I remember you used a few of your own ‘tools’ at JL to ‘re-educate’ some students….Mmmmm! 😂😅😂❤
Loving your show … your parents are really my favorites… you make Adventists look good … my wife is Bajan from Canada .. an Adventist but apart from their discipline I never really took to their staid what I’d call “white” outlook

Heeeeey Eugenia! Thanks for watching 😁. Which part of Grenada are you from?

Great interview. Your dad's my pastor and it's very refreshing to hear his account of how his childhood in Ghana and London was like
Oh wow! That’s incredible. Which church were you attending when my dad was Pastoring?
London Ghana SDA Church. He's the South England Conference president and our church falls under his area
Oh yes, I’m aware. I’m sure you know I have family members who attend that church.
