A Right Rum Adventure - Trip to the Isle of Rum - Staying at Guirdil & Dibidil Bothies

Took a little trip to Rum back in April 2024 with grand ideas of filming a proper little RUclips adventure. Unfortunately I got too involved in how amazing the island was and experiencing it rather than just running around filming everything, so this is what you get!
Despite the ferry breaking down on arrival with no idea if we would be able to get off the island, having my equipment set up all wrong frame rate wise and leaving my selfie stick at the port on arrival; the trip could not have gone more according to plan if we had tried.
Myself, Steve, Ross and Josh all had the most amazing five days on this stunning little island and shared it with some amazing people. By the end of the trip we didn't really care if we couldn't get home due to the broken ferry!
We only one wet day out of the 5, unfortunately this was the day we had planned for the Rum Cuillin Ridge, so I suppose I just have to go back again to do that! The other 4 days were stunning as you can clearly see from the video.
We stayed in the islands two bothies Dibidil and Guirdil as well as hiring out a BBQ hut in Kinloch. Anyone looking to visit these should stop thinking about it and just do it, both are little belters. Dibidil has the nicer inside with dual fireplaces but Guirdil is in the most stunning location.
