How did you cut/trim the gear shifter area? I was debating on removing the chrome piece to wrap/tuck it in but I think the wrap will start lifting when I put the chrome piece back in.
I did mine with no heat gun i just wrap it and cut it with a gillette blade took me around 30 min just around the shifter area i didnt remove the chrome piece i just aligned the blade basically flat ontop of it and it cut the loose pieces of the wrap
hey bro i wrapped my center console and when i was putting it back together, the ash tray door and the centerpiece don’t line up evenly. the little ash tray door is higher than the centerpiece. do you know why? everything clicks together and i the screws went on perfectly but they’re still not even :(
LOL funny thing is mine is the same way... Took mine out at least 8 times and got the same result each time and couldn't figure out why. I just decided to live with it since 😢
It’s not how you’re fitting the ashtray back into its position in the car, it’s actually how you’re putting the “lid” back onto the ashtray when it’s removed from the car. With the lid removed from the ashtray you’ll see three holes/openings on the ashtray, there are grooves on the lid that slide into the openings. Note that this can only be achieved if the ashtray is in the open position! Slide the lid into the openings and click down on other side 👍
Pretty sure it's possible to wrap the dash but not 100% sure tho as ive only wrapped plastic pieces before, sorry. With the remote start/alarm, i'm sure it's possible to do but with the car being push start and using a smart key it may be conflicting
@@ChristianMastrile thanks bro, I bought one of those clip on rear views from autozone today and it’s 100000% better, my oem 2006 is250 rear view mirror was getting all yellow and scratchy so the clip on mirror helped a bunch

You have the exact car my cousin has. I don't get why he doesn't upgrade like you did yours. His stuff is stock...yeah...STOCK. Everything original! I mean I tell him "come on bro you got an 09 IS 250 and you haven't modded it in any way? How are you suppose to get the ladies in your STOCK Lexus IS 250". He is more on the mellow side and not into like modding or fashion so much but whatever. It would be cool if he changed some stuff up with his car. Anyhow, where did you order all your Lexus stuff? Is there a main site for it? I will send a link to my cousin and say..."HEY STOCK...Consider these upgrades"....HAHA
HAHA "How are you suppose to get the ladies in your STOCK Lexus" that's hella funny!! Lexus is def a good start for someone who isn't really into modding just yet and when it's done right, he can make it look really really nice. The smaller mods may slowly getting him into modding too. Most of the parts i find are from the specific website for each part but eBay and Amazon have gotten really good at supplying parts, for the most part
still find it so cool seeing such relatable & raw content. probably my next little job for the car. good job bro!
Yooo thank you bro!! 🙏🙏 🙏
Dude, your exhaust sounds great! Do you have a mod list?
Great video! Funny cause I was literally gonna do the same thing tomorrow with my IS250 cause the wood trim looks so ugly.

Have you done an oil catch can install yet? I just did on my is250
Dude, you totally skipped over the parts I wanted to learn! How did you wrap the corners? How did you cut out the button cavities?
