I was 20 in '85 and don't recall any of these. Mind you, I was on the west coast.

im pretty much sure you folk had Old Dutch instead of humpty dumpty. The brand was here for ages til Old Dutch bought them out, only retaining the Humpty Dumpty brand in use with things like Party Mix and the cheese/corn snack line (or at least thats how it is here in NL now). we got a lot of these because of our proximity to Quebec, including sharing a provincial border with them)

@@DaiAtlus79 Oh yeah, Old Dutch was ubiquitous. Now I think of it, we seemed somewhat separated from the rest of Canada back then. I hadn't heard of Tim Hortons until they moved out west in the 90s. But, my local McDonald's (No.3 Rd) was the first one outside the US !

      Nice good to know!
Never heard of Old Dutch here in Vermont, but Humpty Dumpty is still sold and popular around here. Its probably the only brand that makes All Dressed and Ketchup Chips.

@@rylarnostalgia4113 It was a little sad, because they remodeled the restaurant (Richmond, BC) in about 2017, but retained the huge golden 'arch' near the sidewalk. My high school was nearby, so we used to frequent the store a lot in 1980/81/82 and there was a little path way through the shrubs with circular flag stones, that led from the sidewalk to the parking lot in front, but sadly now gone. It was still there in 2016, with the flagstones still intact. I have never been a huge fan of Ketchup chips and have never tried All Dressed.

@@rylarnostalgia4113 Old Dutch have always come in a box with two plastic bags of chips inside.

There’s another channel bleeding in, especially on the first couple of ads.

      yes its very subtle
possible the tape has been worn out from being recorded over multiple times

any reason for the 16:9 stretch to this instead of the original 4:3 ? everyone looks fat and short.

      I notice that as well
my original video is set to 4:3 aspect ratio
RUclips seems to cut off the sides
not sure how I would fix that I need to do some research
Thank you for letting me know

@@rylarnostalgia4113 all depends on the software you ran it through. Handbrake can fix that up as well.

@@DaiAtlus79 Thank you - for some reason when I go into Theatre Mode on this video I see the black boxes on the left and right side so I am a little confused. Ill play around with the aspect ratio.
Is this the only video that you notice this issue?
