    I like the addition of the triangle with the eyebolt to make it easier to pull up. HOWEVER ---> You made a video on building this target reset stand AND THEN YOU STAND IN FRONT OF THE CAMERA AND WE CANNOT SEE IT IN ACTION!!!? HELLOOOOO?! Maybe a little less talking (cameraman) and a little more focus on what's important to the video --> like showing your creation in action.. Nice build all the same.

    I don't like the term "squeeze" the trigger. That makes you "squeeze" your entire hand, torquing the gun. Isolate your trigger finger, as you press the trigger straight back. You have to play with how much trigger finger to use. Most will say use the middle of the first pad, but it really depends on the LOP, and the size of your hand. Low left is usually a sign of anticipating the shot, and flinching. Practice with a revolver, leaving a surprise empty cylinder, or two.

    • @ArtisanTony
      @ArtisanTony  5 лет назад

      practice and shoot how you practice and what works for you. The squeeze part is just to get them to think about how they are pulling the trigger and has nothing to do with the grip.

    Nice easy design. Great to see father and son working together. This is the kind of stuff my Dad and I used to do. Am I missing something??? Don't see a link or directions how to get the Sketchup file. Again nice work! Excellent ingenuity!!!

    Good shooting, Barret. That looks like a fun target stand, Artisan Tony. The family will have a lot of fun with the reactive Challenge Targets. That's a nice spot at the shooting range to set up a target.
    It's time for Barret to have several hit records; the family would be able to ride in their own helicopter, out to their big estate for a shooting session.
    (Plus, thumbs up to Tennesseans for respecting the cemetery.)

    Just went to the challenge site to look at targets....did you remove the springs from your auto-reset targets and made your own reset so that they are all knocked down first and Then you reset them together??

    Pretty good idea. Next version instead of the spring, use a spring loaded hinge maybe on hinge of the post the rope is attached.

    Great design for even a novice to construct. As for the shooting excellent job. Barrett switched his thumb to the opposite side, but did better.

    Pretty awesome ideas ... But if I took a shot of whiskey every time you said "slow down", "squeeze" or "front sight post" I'd be really drunk by the end of the video loll... Btw your sons are quite talented musicians! Loved the intro.

      @ArtisanTony, I've been watching a bunch of your older videos and was wondering if you were ever able to come up with a Dimensional Diagram for this Break-Down Target System that you were able to come up with ???
      It looks like a REALLY GOOD design and I like to build it myself...
      Is there any chance I could get the Blueprin from you ???
