Significantly better, especially with an easy pull lever paired with it. I actually have an 06 wr450 as well and you can't do this upgrade to it however since the starter motor is in the way where you would mount it
@@4fiddy_a_aron I see. Mine has a weird issue with the spring... I dropped the bike and the spring came off. After scratching my head for a while, it seems that apparently the last owner broke the spring and shortened it half a turn, then twisted new end hooks to it. That's why the support plate was installed upside down and spring was in the wrong position. I had to look up from the internet how it's supposed to be installed and now this make more sense. :) The spring cost about 3 euros, what an asshole to do such a hack for such a cheap component!
@@4fiddy_a_aron I mean the clutch cable spring. hxxps://photos.app.goo.gl/urdKb2zbFFmEQJAWA (youtube seems to block my links, replace x with t. Anyway, the bottom plate is upside down and spring is missing half a turn of material so it cannot be installed correctly here :)

How is the feel of the clutch compared to stock 2003? I have a WR450F 2003 which has the same clutch system.

@MikkoKorkalo what springs are you talking about? The clutch springs don't have end hooks on them unless your talking about on another bike
