With the TU pump, what E rating can you reliably run with this turbo?

Since the TU pump is limited by the engine cams, it will be the same E rating no matter what turbo, even with stock. Good reliable mix is E40. I hear E30 is best for upgraded turbo - best mix of timing and boost. We will find out soon.. just finished tuning on 93 about to start E.

I was originally going to go with the GC but i think ill probably go with the "mid" now. Eagerly waiting for your updates.

On paper it’s 1000% worth the upgrade over the GC, I’m excited to get started with it. Just waiting to get my base map from new tuner and will throw this thing in!

Can you run the GC MID on Gen1 b58?

How much power will this make on pump gas? 93octanes? B58TU Stock fuel, not looking to upgrade anything else

Should make a little over 500 wheel on 93 octane. If you do not want to ever upgrade fueling, I would suggest going with with the GC instead of the GC mid. You will max out fueling before turbo.

@@BoostleakTV I understand that for the b58tu OEM Fuel is good up to 600WHP . A little over 500WHP it's what I am looking for. If I go GCmid that would probably be way under what I am aiming for. How about GC+ ? For pump fuel I would assume that won't make over 600WHP anyways so OEM fuel pump would be enough?

Yes, on an ethanol blend you can make around 600WHP stock fueling. The regular GC (smallest) will be better for you than GC mid or GC+. The regular GC will put you around 500-530 WHP on 93 octane and will still have quick spool like stock. Only go GC mid or GC+ if you plan to upgrade fueling.

@@BoostleakTV Is it the spool that much different for the GC+? It is still much smaller comparing with other top mount options for example. So if this GC+ spool time it's bad, how terrible must be other much biguer top mount options out there? Also, I am not interested in ethanol mix, only pump and I need to choose the option that will put me around 600WHP on gas pump. I don't want to go over this number but not a lot under either. Regarding fueling my understanding is that 600WHP it's the limit on pump gas so that's perfect for me.

Oh sorry, I thought you were after 500WHP on 93. I’m not too sure on the GC+ lag but I know the GC spools like stock turbo, and the GC mid takes around 400rpm more to spools I assume the GC+ would be more lag than that, not sure exact number. The big full frame turbos can be undrivable on the street cause spool is so long. GC+ will put you around 520-550WHP on 93. For 600WHP I would start researching full frame turbo kits.
