im not old enough to drive and this is very useful
Same bruh😂
Hey me too but yeah
my permit just came today!
buy a bk2 genesis. they are going for stupid cheap and its everything you will ever need.
2:03 is the best part for sure
Ay u a good RUclipsr you taught me things I didn’t know. I’ll follow your journey
Just built a motor with a turbo for the first time this year I’m finally gonna get it in the car this week might as well see if I have the room to make it loud
Another huge piece when choosing a turbo. If you want flutter you DO NOT want an antisurge front housing or ported front housing. You need an unported housing like whats shown in the video
Can you weld up or fill the anti-surge on one of those ported housings? Will doing so reduce flow and power(because technically the compressor CAN suck through those, right?)?
I have a T51R housing with a billet wheel. do you think I could achieve much louder flutter if I changed it to an unported housing
Great vid.. has the tial be shut at all times? Or just open at a amount of pressure like normal if you know what I mean
The deep sound evil af🥶
Can't wait to to this to my outlander when I get her on the road again XD
4:32 turbo pigeon lol
Not even here for the video, just here for the evo
@@CARS_NI124 hell yeah 🤙🏽😂
Is it possible with twin turbos ?
Bro the 10 to 15 boost turbo made me die doodoodoodoodoodoodoodoo💀💀💀
You should of put the list of items and the pricing
thank you🥰
How I want the civic si to sound someday
But what if you put a small tap in the bov Tube? With that on the dashboard you can control it
works
what battery is that?
What turbo do you have
How to cut your Turbocharger life in half Part 1:
What is the name of the song?
Well I have an Audi A4 2.0T, I have an intake it makes the whoosh sounds when I let off and I can hear the turbo spooling at low speeds but I don’t get any flutter sounds, sometimes I hear a very very very little flutter when I’m driving slow and I let off very fast, I want that stututu sound than the whoosh sound, I think the blow off valve doesn’t make that sound, I just bought a diverter valve spacer so I’ll see if that makes a difference or makes the car flutter a little more, I know someone that has the same car with a blow off valve spacer and a turbo muffler delete and the flutter is crazy it sounds like he has a massive turbo
Yeah so the turbo makes that flutter sound not the BOV, it really helps if it’s vent to atmosphere BOV and not recirculating, also the size the the turbo itself matters, the smaller the blades, the shorter and higher pitch it’ll be, and the bigger it is the deeper and longer it’ll sound
Mine was the same, when you let off the throttle, you have to quickly touch it again immediately, then it will make the sound you want. Annoying but it works
@@jwdebod01 same as mine 👍
What song is you video this song is very good Bro pls song video
does it work on fiat punto
I'm a newbie in car world so basically the most important thing is the pipe or valve for the intake that's what make the difference... Am I right?
Man just dont get a BOV and boom flutter
So basically move the bov to the ic pipes and have a straight pipe for the intake?
Yes
Can you maybe follow up on how exactly moving the bov changes the sound? I dont understand it cheers
I just immitated your setup, cut off the recirculation hose, removed the bov, didnt dose like yours
@@MuzzaMiki the only thing giving you dose is a blocked BOV. That’s it!
A FMIC will be the biggest factor in getting good sounding dose as well as a full intake
@@OGtrushalpatel i have blocked it before sounds the same as with my bov intercooler is already 3" and my intake is stainless steel with a pod
i have a gfb DV+ diverter valve with stock intake, will my audi a4 flutter if i get a new intake or do i need a bov
you only need a BOV but i do suggest a intake as well will make it louder my buddy has a a4 there sick cars!
Needs to be straight - shows bent pipe....
Which maf and intake are you using?
Stock MAF and a custom 3 inch intake
you are new to cars arent ya ?
This is the coolest sound but you are going to end up blowing your turbo bearings to bits as the air is being forced back through your turbo blades into your air intake and this will happen it’s just a matter of when
Been doing it for over 10 years, never been an issue.
Uh, the flutter thing is actually sort of bad for the turbo. It's basically all the built up boost back surging when the throttle body closes and forces it's way past the turbine blades, which is the whole point of a BOV. The flutter sounds sort of cool but it's slowing your turbine down and putting unnecessary stress on the turbos components. Adding a BOV with recirculation back to the intake is way more efficient...but I guess if you're just going for the STUTUTUTUTUTU noise vs. actual performance then whatever go for it. Really if it's just about making "turbo noises" they do make BOVs that have dual outlets (one to recirculate and the other to atmosphere) so you can still get that PSSSSHHHH BOV noise while recirculating air back to the intake to help from losing boost, and you can adjust them to whatever combo works best.
There is no difference in turbo speed between running a blow off valve and running no valve when you lift off the throttle.
"but I guess if you're just going for the STUTUTUTUTUTU noise vs. actual performance then whatever go for it."
The pressure being released from a valve actually is worse for performance because the turbo then has to build up pressure again, that is the reason why in motorsport it's common place not to run any valve.
Will an anti surge cover reduce the amount of flutter?
yes
What blow of valve do you have
TiAl Q
Got a Mazda speed 3 htp 3.5 intake and fmic yet I get no where near the sounds on RUclips
Same bru
Not have effect for tubro? U use which stock?
It will loosen a bit your bearing over time and make it have some side to side play but basically it’s not that bad for the turbo. If you do it with a stock intake you most likely to eat nothing
no. There's a myth floating around that it causes damage, but there's no proof
"its gonna sound higher pitched like this" *shows a sped-up video* u basically just did an alvin-and-the-chipmunks but with compressor surge lol
Lmao bro that’s how his actually sounds, if you look at the surroundings it’s moving at normal speeds
Not a sped up video but what he said about it being how much boost you run that makes it sound like that is not correct.
hey bro i have a question my turbo doesnt flutter its stock how do i get it to flutter
If it doesn’t flutter it means it’s doing this job properly. The flutter comes from the Bov surging, pushing air back into the turbo because it couldn’t get it all out, which can damage the turbo after awhile. But if you upgrade your turbo or bov sometimes a little is unavoidable. If you want the sound don’t do it on your stock turbo
@@ashkechum101 The flutter is from not running a blow off valve, it's not a blow off valve surging.
Block the vacuum line to your factory bov. (BOV, not wastegate). Change your turbo-filter piping to be as free flowing as possible.
Is this possible on a ralliart?
If it has a turbo then yes
and on which cars does this sutututu work
the supra, originally, and as far as I know the subaru wrx-sti or the mitsubishi lancer from this video, but they need some changes to make it sound this way
Any car with a turbo can do it.
all turbo cars, minus some diesels
Yeah sorry mate but you’re completely wrong about the tone of the flutter. The size of the turbine and turbine housing dictates how deep it will sound. It has little to no relevance to the size of the intake piping…..
When I changed out my intake pipe the tone was deeper and sounded clearer
Changing the size of the intake piping absolutely changes the sound.
I have an 11 blade compressor wheel on a gtx3076r and it flutters like a vl. Also the pic of the t04z is a 6+6 design. Has 6 small and big 6 fins not just 6 fins like most stock turbos. So wrong on so many levels.
Intake piping plays a big part, dunno where you got your info from

turbo flutter is due to pressure surge. it sounds nice but you will ruin your turbo bro
thats a fake blow off valve. i bet it doesnt even have a piston on the inside
This guy dont know wtf he's talking about
I don't know...I just read somewhere🤣
