I'm scared that they won't add any 2D Character profile pictures again, please don't let that be the case 😅 I really miss my 2D pictures of the characters qwq But the animals look very adorable! 🥰❤️
The animals and the environment are looking really good, can't wait to see how the other characters and towns look too! I agree they're probably waiting on the Switch 2 to announce any release date but yeah, at least the title would have been nice. As for the multiplayer game though, part of me thinks they're putting off talking about it because they want to save it for the 30th anniversary in 2 years.
I really hope the multiplayer game isn't cancelled.. It sounded like a fun concept. I was also disappointed in the showcase. I was hoping we could see more stuff like the villagers and maybe some gameplay. The glider is intriguing but I'm hoping the world is big enough with enough to explore so that it makes sense to use the glider.
So, it looks like we'll be getting a brand-new original title this time around, many years after Pioneers of Olive Town. How interesting! 😁 It seems they're returning to the chibi format, and I'm really curious about the new characters. I actually like the idea of a new title instead of a remake because it means everything will be a surprise with no comparisons to previous entries.
Nooo the return of the abominable bubble cow lol. I could never get into PoOt and I am getting very similar vibes from this game.....Definitely will wait until more info is out to make any big judgments though.
I'm looking forward to it. Like the gliding. I've already beaten paper mario thousand year door for the Switch (not the postgame stuff though, but that's optional).
I want more crops and animals. I wish the games had a more regional theme like Africa, Peru, Iran, or Mexico with crops, geography, music, and animals from that region. I really liked in Tale of Two Towns how they had the stereotypical European town and a stereotypical Japanese town, I wish they would run with ideas like that. The flying leaf/glider seems kinda goofy, like idk... Windwaker did it then sorta every game has done it since in some way and it just seems awkward.
I think Trio of Towns was one of their best games, and it had American Western, Japanese, and I think Polynesian inspired locations. It would be neat to get something like that again, or even an entire game set in a different kind of environment. And yeah, I feel the same about the glider... it has suddenly become pretty common since Breath of the Wild. Then again, when I actually play the games in question, I often end up appreciating being able to get around faster.
They need to finish the 2 games they have in development first. The last released game was a remake so I think it'll be a big wait to hear about another
The animals and environment did look really nice but I was hoping to see more, like some gameplay. I'm not too worried about them not showing the other SoS game because they did say at the beginning that not all games from last year will be shown but that they are still being worked on.
I really like the art style of the new game, cute and cozy as always! I'm curious of how the environment is going to change the gameplay and the way we do our farming tasks. (Btw, I totally agree, it was a bit disappointing. I was willing to see the announcement of a Harvest Moon remake. 😢)
If the actual final graphics are anything like what they teased today...wow! I wouldn't be surprised if they are waiting for the Switch 2 to come out. And yeah...that's just weird that there was no mention of the other game! It's so hard to be patient...but that just gives me more time to continue playing WoA! (that moment when you realize...the newly announced HM game is mobile...so no preorder plushie😢) And thanks for the shoutout!
Thanks for always being so supportive! And yeah, I was also thinking about how Home Sweet Home being mobile will prevent there being any special editions, which Natsume seems to love. On Reddit I saw some Harvest Moon shirts and was so jealous! I would definitely order a shirt or two if they were available.
@@elithegaymer ❤️❤️❤️ tbose would be SO fun!!! I wonder if they will come up with some way to do merch for it...I'm certain if it ever comes out on nonmobile platforms that they will!
They're definitely waiting for Switch 2 I think. I'm personally predicting it to be released anytime between June 2025 to November 2025. They will wait until Switch 2 has some playerbase as well.
Looks and feels very Dinkum so far, but unlike Dinkum I feel like the environment will still be static and un-alterable James Bendon did AMAZING as an indie dev dealing with a huge open, procedurally generated, editable environment. If huge studio money went into making the same thing, I'd be stoked to see it.
I love story of seasons. But for me the 3ds games had way more effort put into them. Better map. Fuller story and a boat load of customization for the farm and character. If they fix how empty PoOt felt after a few hours. They will have an amazing franchise. I cant wait
I'm speculating that the multiplayer game is going to use some proprietary features of Switch 2 (like how 3DS had Street pass) and that's why they couldn't show it. Im still puzzled why they couldn't give us a name for the new mainline series. UNLESS it is actually a sequel to another game and they don't want to spoil that yet
Tbh I'm not very disappointed yet. It hasn't been that long yet, and when devs properly take their time instead of rushing out titles like Pokemon has lately, the end result tends to be a better game. I was a little disappointed with Pioneers of Olive Town so crossed fingers the next one will be better. I wasn't interested in the multiplayer one to begin with, but I was a little worried at the initial announcement that they'd be spreading themselves too thin with two totally new games, rather than a new game and a remake with staggered releases. The wait for new games is easier for me these days, in large part because I'm older than when I was when I first started playing Harvest Moon games, but also because there's a lot more games in this genre than there used to be. So much variety! Lately I've been watching a let's play for Echoes of the Plum Grove, and I'm not sure it's for me but it is interesting.
I was thinking that the graphics looked so cool and I definitely think it will be a switch two title and that’s why they haven’t said much. I hope the preorders come with a plushie again
Thanks! I am interested to learn more about Rune Factory Project Dragon but the trailer was heavily focused on the combat. I wanna see the marriage candidates and the farming aspects haha.
For a moment i thought it was magical melody remake. But this is eveb better original title, they have a glider i assume can use that to get around faster. My biggest thing is i hope even after the main storyline theres more tk explore with the characters to have more depth with the towns people. Its like once u complete mostly everything in most of these games nothing else to do. Only a wonderful life has a more beginning middle end where u actual can develop more stories out of the characters. Fingers crossed this drops later this year they have been working on this for a while but hopfully next announcment will be this summer we will get an offical title and release date
Yeah, the glider part I guess means that the world will be bigger at least. To me, it looks very similar to PoOT with some upgrades, which I am fine with. Just hope they give the characters some interesting backgrounds and get rid of the makers, haha.
If they are truly planning on canceling the multiplayer one… then the first thing they’ll have to work on is the current Story of Seasons game for now. This is just a guess, depending upon late 2025 or early 2026 is that they might plan on remaking an old Harvest Moon game like they’ve done before TWICE. 🤔 As for which Harvest Moon game being remade I honestly have no idea… It’s anyone’s guess at this point. 🤷♀🤔
I just hope that they don’t trade character/story for environment. I personally don’t care about a pretty environment. All I want is a good story and great character stories.
Well for my personal opinion & I think this game will run well on Nintendo Switch if u believing yourself & your Nintendo Switch no matter what & I haven’t watched your video on RUclips because stuff happened recently on Tuesday May 28 this year & I’m slowly recovering from it & now I’m at my grandma house & spending some time with my family 🥰
I don't wanna be a Donny Downer or a Grumpy Gus but I wish they wouldn't announce games so early. What ended up being Pioneers of Olive Town was announced on an early Switch line up thing with date TBA or TBD (can't remember which off the top of my head, I wanna say TBA) and the long period of waiting with nothing to go on did not help that whole situation. There really still pretty much was nothing to go off of here. It's just a step above online journalists saying basically there's no news about Stardew Valley 1.6 release date for consoles imo. Idk I get it's almost a no win situation, if they didn't say anything people would be upset too. But it feels like such a nothing burger imo I'm a bit sad. Why don't theu wait to anounce games? Did they not learn about over hype and the potential downfall with PoOT? I honestly don't get it. It just seems like they jumped the gun announcing it to begin with and now have to show something.
I'm scared that they won't add any 2D Character profile pictures again, please don't let that be the case 😅 I really miss my 2D pictures of the characters qwq

You might be right! I bet they will have at least one game release for the big 3-0!
I don’t really care for the idea of an “open world” concept SoS but who knows, maybe it could work. Looks beautiful.

Yeah, this title looks like a sequel to PoOT, at least graphically. I think they are on the pattern of doing a remake and then making a new title.
That kinda looks like the Magical Melody environment and map. The chibi design looks like it it also could be
Nooo the return of the abominable bubble cow lol. I could never get into PoOt and I am getting very similar vibes from this game.....Definitely will wait until more info is out to make any big judgments though.

It looks amazing graphically. Imagine you can actually glide in the game to transverse some areas .

Yeah, I wanna see more gameplay too! And most importantly... no makers, hahaha.
The setting is giving Tale of Two Towns?

It looked like more of an open world type of game - hence the glider. Looks amazing, but it would have been nice to see some gameplay.
that's what I'm thinking too! It looks open world!

Yeah, hopefully there is a plushie in the special edition this time too! Maybe it will be a new animal in this game.
The pre-order bonuses are part of my love for this franchise. I hope they never stop.
Great video as always Eli, what did you think of Rune Factory Project Dragon?
Thanks! I am interested to learn more about Rune Factory Project Dragon but the trailer was heavily focused on the combat. I wanna see the marriage candidates and the farming aspects haha.

The graphics are so good!! also think they didn’t give a title or release date because they’re waiting for the next switch console announcement!! (:
Yeah, could be planning to launch it close to the launch of Switch 2. Would love to get it as a launch title!

Why every new game become a Hoyo-centrist
