The male marriage candidates all look nice, I really like that there's some variety (including skintone!). Ohmygod the female ones are all carbon copies of each other and look a good decade younger than the male ones 😭

Not gonna lie, but that purple guy with the glasses shown in the corner of the plant spider is such a tease. It has me hoping the races are gonna be more diverse and interesting than just "human with blank," but I'm expecting it to be the token non-human you have to fight before they join.

I only need to know two things. Can you tame monster friends and can you be gay. If the answer is yes to both, the game is purchased. Though I guess I should add a third category for "does the game run like garbage?" because I didn't finish RF5 it was so laggy and unresponsive

Hakama previous worked with Bushiroad to make a different game that was also kind of similar to Rune Factory called “Elrentaros Wanderings” (“Rear Sekai” in Japan). So Progress Order is Hakama’s second game with Bushiroad. Elrentaros Wanderings released on October 12th 2023 in Japan. It didn’t release in the west until August 23rd 2024 (this localization almost took a year). Unfortunately Elrentaros Wanderings currently has an overall rating of “negative” on Steam. I hope this game gets better reviews than Elrentaros Wanderings.

RUNE FACTORY was my first farming sim and it will always have my heart. The art style, character stories and design. Everything about it was so magical. I’m heartbroken I can’t find my older games from the DS. If only I knew how much I’d miss them

Honestly I ended up giving up on Batsune's Harvest Moon games a little while back -I always thought that their open worlds were exhausting because there wasn't a good story line to support them. But all the aspects you mentioned here are things I love so I think I'm ready to give this one a new try!

Do I need to feel rushed by the passing of days? Only one I played was 64 and everything felt like a time rush.

Im on the Twilight Chapter, and I'm so scared for the end but I've played this before so I am prepared for the sad ending ! I'm SO BEYOND THRILLED that we can keep playing after the story ends because I was getting nervous that I'd have to start all over again just to enjoy more gameplay !! Lol
