Kepler's a gun tough strong player and made runs against the West Indies in tests, a real fit athlete . A legendary leader in Sth Africa too , what a great bloke. Awesome career man ,thanks Deano and family brothers Craig , Hayden
The 500+ runs he made (at an average of 56) against the all-conquering WI pace machine in 1984-85 are a testament to his skill and fortitude. Equally articulate with bat and microphone.
I saw his 105 at Lord’s for South Africa in 1994.
