@@NigelBarros likewise I appreciate the great recommendation for a camera 😃 Thanks btw I think I can get better footage once I’ve had a bit more time with the camera 😃😃
@ there isn’t a lot on it. It fell under the raider for a lot of people. It does do 1080, 60. If you can find a card that will support that. It really is a mini cinema camera.
@@soupwetforever thanks, yeah it was a little strange at first seeing a ton of stills in folders, but once in resolve realized how great it was to work with, still can’t believe it shoots raw internally 😃😃
Bruv! 10mins of a talking head and 2 mins footage 🙃...... Seriously as an owner of the BMPCC, its not worth it anymore, just get the P4K instead. You will still have the same experience, only you'll have a bigger better brighter screen, full sized hdmi out, proper audio (with mini-XLR input, 3.5mm stereo jack, timecode in etc), BRAW/ProRES, better menu system, more storage options, can used it as a webcam and it is still getting firmware updates today. The OG has its use cases, but in 2024, it not worth the hassle, at the end of the day its just a camera that has a lot of nostalgia surrounding it, but its just a tool! On a side note, I own the OG, mirco OG (sold this), P4K, Studio 4K pro and I picked up the 6K FF during the sale, when it come to image quality the 6K FF is hands down the best (with caveats of course). I would hard pass this camera, unless your a collector, want to mess with the S16 format natively or need it for a use case (whatever that maybe). ☮✌
Appreciate the shoutout! Your footage looked really good!

As someone who have the blackmagic micro cinema camera (same sensor) it is my favorite camera I own. My favorite picture out of a camera.
@@Marks_journey ooooo haven’t heard of that camera, going to have to go search 😃😃

@ yeah I don’t shoot a ton of slow mo, most footage for me is just 24p so this cam is perfect 🤩
The footage still looks quite great! Nice job.
Takes a bit of getting used to, great camera though
BM camera DNGs are awesome in Resolve.
Fun little video -

this was to date the best image sensor from them, i just wish it had an extra stop to stop and half of DR
@@tsproduction2010 yeah that would be ace if it had another stop and a half !! 😃😃
Cellioud film has 5-6 stops of effective DR.
Stop the excuses and learn how to properly light for the camera you have.
@@matthewhartman7176 too damn funny

Of course it is! Why should this have been changed? It is just not affordable anymore.
@@KalleTheodor it’s a super fun camera to use, I love the size & the image is fantastic hey
